I run a 20in bar on my 661 sometimes. Love the power. I plan to try some these saws out. I can make the money back on the very first job. Thanks for the review
My experience pretty much mirrors yours. Easiest to start , of any of the saws I own. Am running the 32 and 36 inch bars it pulls them well. Going on my third year now still running strong. Only failure so far was a clutch spring. Local Stihl dealer got me the new parts. Like you I prefer the 60-70 cc saws, for most work. But the NS892 fills the requirement for a bigger saw.
Great video and a very good saw review. No American or European manufacturer, and let alone a dealer, will dare to give you a small tool kit like this one because it takes away from the CEO's and executives pay, as well as the wall street traders. In today's corporatist environment, Corporations and the G0-verment feel like they have a right to capitalize on the profits you will make with your tools BEFORE you even walk out of the store and cut the first tree (Hyper inflated prices) and high sales taxes. The US or Local State governments, don't want you to pay sales tax of a $ 380.00 item (The Asian saw). No sir, they want you to buy and pay taxes on a $ 1500.00 item (The legacy brand saw)......Capish ??? Remember, the more you pay for something, the more you pay in sales tax ($$$). That is the reason why everything we buy, is hyperinflated in price. We are talking about 300% hyper-inflated prices ( 3 times + ) the price of this saw, not 30%, not 100%. No Sir, it is 300 % inflated in price. Every time you "Double" the price of this saw until you get to the $ 1500 retail price, it is a whooping ( 1X ) 100% inflation price index. So $ 380 x4 = $ 1520.00 ( 300% more for the legacy brand pricing ). Again, the manufacturer in Asia as well as the online retailer, are making profits at $ 380.00 plus tax. When you see the price you pay for almost identical legacy items on the online retailers, MIND, that they are still making good profits at those prices. No "evidence" of price gouging here, it's all legal under the almighty consumer protection laws enacted by our wonderful congress. So finally, the American consumer said ENOUGH, and closed their wallets to the legacy brands, because this particular saw is selling like Hot Pancakes online. Also, look no further than H-Freight tools, they almost look like the old Western Auto Stores of 50-60 yrs ago (The way we used to be) in the US. In those days we could even order a house kit from a Sears catalog, and sometimes the sales Rep. would even throw in, the initial 2 rolls of mesh for the perimeter fence FOR FREE, if you added the reminder of the fence rolls and posts for the entire project ( Your tool kit bag ). We have lost our ways as a country.
I have the Holzfforma G660, pretty much same saw, got mine off Amazon also, but came to $427 or something, came with 3 chains, 25 inch bar, mixing jug for 2 stoke & gas, I had problems the 2nd day using it, the pull start pawls we’re making awful noise, got new & been great since then, good video
I would not use an airfilter like that because it will clog quickly and starve the saw of air. You chips will be larger with more fine dust on the larger chains. The stihl filter for the 660 fits better, more air tight and is easily cleaned with air. I have seen more than one saw with saw oil soaked dust packed in the piston base. On all these 660 clones replace your pawls and the pull starter with the stihl version, replacing the spring while your at it. That will likely keep you cutting. I got a whole list of upgrades
I have noticed most of these saws that come with work gloves, the gloves seem to be sized for Chinese girls, I wear XXl gloves and theirs barley fit my little finger. LOL
Ignore or ban the internet safety police. We don't need those kind of people putting negativity in our lives!

I have the same saw. It pulls a 42 in bar with no problem at all. I use mine on an alaskan sawmill.
Awesome I don’t doubt that one bit! thanks for watching!

3:35 that is a piston ring compressor as is the other two like it in the bag, not sure why they'd give you those though.

Once you go through 5-8
Tank fills you will see the saw will run even better!
How is the saw holding up now that it’s been over a year
Most saw shops don't sell parts for discontinued saws unless they have parts saws
you like that bar? i was thinking about that bar--or the lighter tsumura....
that saw still running?
I got two 892bv’s. Very nice bog bore saws.
I got that saw w 36 bar the chain had busted side link I fixed I only ran it with 24 bar it's a real good running saw
Hello from northern Canada :) well it definitaly has no problem with a 20" bar that's for sure, and it sounds like a stihl,
Does anyone know if Stihl/Zama carbs are an exact swap. Concerned about linkages. Throttle/Choke/Kill switch.
Amazing machine 😍😍
how is it now?
Still doing good. I don’t use it very much but it’s one heck of a saw. I had developed a gas leak that I haven’t had time to investigate though
That foam air filter is better than what Stihl uses. But you have to use air filter oil on it for it to work.
Can of dip saved my leg once
same as for hultzforrma saws
I have noticed most of these saws that come with work gloves, the gloves seem to be sized for Chinese girls, I wear XXl gloves and theirs barley fit my little finger. LOL
Some real knowledge would be an improvement.
Where is Neo Tech chainsaws made at
what the story is hultzforrma/neo tech bought the patten for the stihl husquvana saws
Yea I was told they bought the patent on them since they are all discontinued saws in the husqvarna and stihl line up
Great review Andy. I'm guilty of not wearing all the safety gear either. I sent you a message on Instagram.
Thanks for watching! Yea I probably should start but I’ve been lucky so far
A wannabe stihl!!! Not for me!!!
Nobody cares that you don’t want one.
