I run a 20in bar on my 661 sometimes. Love the power. I plan to try some these saws out. I can make the money back on the very first job. Thanks for the review
I got a jd60 at an auction and love it. Use it on the farm all the time. We had an A when I was real young, and it was traded off. I recently bought a cheap B with no tires and a stuck engine. I decided on a project tractor so I can learn more about them, and the joy and pride of fixing something that hasn't run in 20-30 yrs is satisfying.
Love the Model B
Hey buddy I just got me one of those it had the better filter but I took my propane torch heated that hand guard and bent it back. The son of a bitch gave me 2 big ass blisters on my knuckles. I got 2 25” bars and several chains knock them tines down on the chain get a full chisel chain and let that mother fer eat. Dial that carb in mess with those 2 dials you'll be able to tell when she's full power. I've been cutting a 30” oak tree. Also take a grinder cut you a few extra slots in that muffler I'm telling you what I feel like I'm in a damn competition with this son of a gun. I got a pile of saw dust 4’ high. I mean this thing runs like a raped ape best damn saw I've ever put my hands too. It has the power dies not bog down I love it. $1800 for a real one I can't see paying that ill spend the 300 on a saw 3 hookers and several 8 balls for 1800 come on people. Nice video brother ill never own another saw Ive used the piss out of this thing my neighbors started calling me Lumberjack. Do those few upgrades I told you about that thing will shit and get. Stay safe keep an eye on whats going on too they are killing us off to depopulate. They keep fucking around were gonna end up in a civil war it'll be the fastest civil war its the ones that dont own guns wanting to put tampon machines in the mens johnny, molesting kids drinking their tear drops and shit let us do the depopulating their wont be a democratic party left when we put our saws down. They cheat this election rally the troops we need to take this country back. Its bad when the hood and the trailer park join forces.
Great video and a very good saw review. No American or European manufacturer, and let alone a dealer, will dare to give you a small tool kit like this one because it takes away from the CEO's and executives pay, as well as the wall street traders. In today's corporatist environment, Corporations and the G0-verment feel like they have a right to capitalize on the profits you will make with your tools BEFORE you even walk out of the store and cut the first tree (Hyper inflated prices) and high sales taxes. The US or Local State governments, don't want you to pay sales tax of a $ 380.00 item (The Asian saw). No sir, they want you to buy and pay taxes on a $ 1500.00 item (The legacy brand saw)......Capish ??? Remember, the more you pay for something, the more you pay in sales tax ($$$). That is the reason why everything we buy, is hyperinflated in price. We are talking about 300% hyper-inflated prices ( 3 times + ) the price of this saw, not 30%, not 100%. No Sir, it is 300 % inflated in price. Every time you "Double" the price of this saw until you get to the $ 1500 retail price, it is a whooping ( 1X ) 100% inflation price index. So $ 380 x4 = $ 1520.00 ( 300% more for the legacy brand pricing ). Again, the manufacturer in Asia as well as the online retailer, are making profits at $ 380.00 plus tax. When you see the price you pay for almost identical legacy items on the online retailers, MIND, that they are still making good profits at those prices. No "evidence" of price gouging here, it's all legal under the almighty consumer protection laws enacted by our wonderful congress. So finally, the American consumer said ENOUGH, and closed their wallets to the legacy brands, because this particular saw is selling like Hot Pancakes online. Also, look no further than H-Freight tools, they almost look like the old Western Auto Stores of 50-60 yrs ago (The way we used to be) in the US. In those days we could even order a house kit from a Sears catalog, and sometimes the sales Rep. would even throw in, the initial 2 rolls of mesh for the perimeter fence FOR FREE, if you added the reminder of the fence rolls and posts for the entire project ( Your tool kit bag ). We have lost our ways as a country.
How is the saw holding up now that it’s been over a year
Where is Neo Tech chainsaws made at
Good for you for fixing up your family’s tractor!!
Here we are at 11:30 and you're finally going to show me what I clicked on the video for and now you speed things up. 😂🤣That's a stout tractor, convinced me to order one and I gave it a thumbs up anyway. I'll get the tires filled and get a ballast box too.
I bought one (my first splitter) and there are a few design changes I would make. #1 the wedge is to small and so is the anvil. Other video's show people putting a 2x8 next to the anvil when splitting in the upright position so the log won't tilt or fall off. #2 wood chips collect on the beam in front of the wedge. The holes are to small and sooner or later it will start to bind. #3 the balance makes the hitch end very heavy and the splitter is hard to move.
You could fit 35s easily.
Looks good Andy. Amazing the difference a skinny 1/4” spacer makes. Might be a good idea to load up your bed to the max & double check to make sure your rear tires don’t touch.
can you use the gauge to deflate a tyre to a specific limit too? or do you just have to let air out manually then reinflate?
you like that bar? i was thinking about that bar--or the lighter tsumura.... that saw still running?
Amazing machine 😍😍
I have a 2610 and tried to lift a round bail with pallet forks, it was a no go.... have you added shims to up your hydraulic pressure? Or is it because you are lifting from a higher position?
@@bradasmith mines completely stock I lift round bales all the time with mine. What size bale are you trying to lift? I lift logs for the sawmill with no problem as well
@@lawsonlawnandfarm8073 These are 5 x 6 and were 1 year old so probably water logged, over 1200lbs dry I haven't tried lifting a newly baled one
@@bradasmith that might be the difference. Mine are about 4.5x5 don’t really see any bigger than that in our area
As a 12 year old, I was instructed to start our B. It was a powerhouse, but tough to start, so we parked it on a hill to start by popping the clutch.
Nice video Sir How would you rate the performance of the the Craftsman 19.2 tools with that Dewalt 20v apdater vs Dewalt tools? I have a bunch of fhe Craftsman 19.2 tools
How deep are the metal rod/posts?
Dot is coming to your house in about a year after seeing this video
My f250 came with 235/85r16 but i think im switching to 265/75r16. Thanks for the video
Hard to find a tire that fits stock rim imo. I want to do a 265/75r16 aswell
I have an 02 F350 srw and im getting 285/75/16's I'll let you know my findings 😏👍
Not a good idea to electrify barb wire, very cruel to the animal if it get caught in it. Smooth wire only for electric!!
Never had a problem in the past my friend. We’ve had “hot” barbed wire all my life. In fact I’ve never once heard of a situation where an animal got stuck in barbed wire electric or not
Pinesoil
I hear a short
Sir, thank you for the video. You like in a beautiful area. Nice to see you like that little tractor, I just bought a new LX2610, it's being delivered today. I think I'm going to like it; time will tell.
Thank you so much for sharing
how is it now?
Still doing good. I don’t use it very much but it’s one heck of a saw. I had developed a gas leak that I haven’t had time to investigate though
What did you say they made a skip to chain so it takes more chunks it is funny you made a video and you really don't even know what you're talking about they make a skip to chain so your RPMs will stay up there is less friction and I mean you don't have to know nothing about nothing to realize that you're gay ass orange chaps kind of give you away
Whete dud you get a lift kit from?
Hand crank it. Mine ain’t got no battery
Awww hoggy woggys
That’s impressive! Didn’t think it would handle those bales. I was between the lx2610 and the kioti ck2620 which can lift quite a bit more. Glad I saw this video, just out my kubota order in
Check out our other channel @truegrit:appalachianways and you can see it doing a lot more work
Rocks won't help!!! Last big rain we had a belly dump load full of sand wash off into the road. No joke. And I've been putting rocks in the gullies when it creates them. Well crap. I knew this video would help. :( What do you do if grass won't grow? That's what I need. GRASS.
just got a 35 ton 10HP oregon today and love it..
The echo is a great saw and you can not beat them for the money
Beautiful property, you are a lucky man.
My personal opinion is Echo is just as good quality as Stihl and Husqvarna and I just got the Echo 620p…..beautiful saw
Bought this saw at an auction for $30. It appears to be brand new with no marks on the bar. I put a new Oregon chain and bar on it because the original chain seemed pretty cheaply made.
Try Nature's Mace
I have 265/70/17 Toyo at3 on my 2005 f350 Dually they fit amazing without spacer
These would have fit without the spacer too but when loaded they would touch without the spacer
Splitting wood is a one person job. Accidents happen when two people run the splitter.
Got the exact same splitter neighbor. Larry in Westfield 😊
Ignore or ban the internet safety police. We don't need those kind of people putting negativity in our lives!
I have noticed most of these saws that come with work gloves, the gloves seem to be sized for Chinese girls, I wear XXl gloves and theirs barley fit my little finger. LOL
Do you make the barbed wire hot the same way you make normal wire hot? What kind of box do you have to electrify it?
Your truck looks good ! I have a similar issue. I have an Isuzu NPR diesel that I want to stick the widest tires I can on it. Factory says 215/85R-16E tires. My project is an old 2002 and I bought it with 225/75R-16E tires on it. I need to take some measurements so see what I can get away with. They are budd rims so using spacers is probably impossible.
I got a 1949 john deere b, to this day, it starts and runs like it's brand new! I love that Ole tractor. I'll never sell it That's when things were really built. No engineers, no computers, no high tech collage boys. The men that built these had a slide rule, an idea, two hands to build them. And there still going today.
I would not use an airfilter like that because it will clog quickly and starve the saw of air. You chips will be larger with more fine dust on the larger chains. The stihl filter for the 660 fits better, more air tight and is easily cleaned with air. I have seen more than one saw with saw oil soaked dust packed in the piston base. On all these 660 clones replace your pawls and the pull starter with the stihl version, replacing the spring while your at it. That will likely keep you cutting. I got a whole list of upgrades
