Here we are at 11:30 and you're finally going to show me what I clicked on the video for and now you speed things up. 😂🤣That's a stout tractor, convinced me to order one and I gave it a thumbs up anyway. I'll get the tires filled and get a ballast box too.
Sir, thank you for the video. You like in a beautiful area. Nice to see you like that little tractor, I just bought a new LX2610, it's being delivered today. I think I'm going to like it; time will tell.
That’s impressive! Didn’t think it would handle those bales. I was between the lx2610 and the kioti ck2620 which can lift quite a bit more. Glad I saw this video, just out my kubota order in
I am highly impressed Andy. Those round bales are as big as the tractor. I've never had a need for a big tractor. Like you said, they have their place but you can do so much more with a small tractor. I remember nearly 40 years ago, Grandpa's log barn burned and I later fixed it back. I found a lot of small tier pole sized pines in the middle of a pine field near the barn. I cut a rough road out through the trees and used Grandpa's Cub to skid the poles out which I skinned and put back in the barn.
I have a 2610 and tried to lift a round bail with pallet forks, it was a no go.... have you added shims to up your hydraulic pressure? Or is it because you are lifting from a higher position?
@@bradasmith mines completely stock I lift round bales all the time with mine. What size bale are you trying to lift? I lift logs for the sawmill with no problem as well
Just my thoughts, since it’s just a mile, why not tow the trailer behind the tractor, load the trailer using the tractor, then haul a full trailer back home with the tractor?
Them little kubota's are work horses my LX 2610 cab model walks away with them bales like they're not even there too.... My brother's girlfriend's b2301 same thing no problem with a 4x5 round

@@lawsonlawnandfarm8073 These are 5 x 6 and were 1 year old so probably water logged, over 1200lbs dry
I haven't tried lifting a newly baled one
@@bradasmith that might be the difference. Mine are about 4.5x5 don’t really see any bigger than that in our area

That’s a good question.. with that compact tractor just the trailer alone is a load behind it and my big tractor doesn’t have a loader
@@lawsonlawnandfarm8073 good excuse to look for a loader for the bigger tractor?

It’s pretty amazing just what you can do with a compact tractor, thanks for watching!
@@lawsonlawnandfarm8073 yes I enjoyed it.. thank you for the video.. no stranger to moving a round LOL
Been my luck I would pull out in front of a state trooper !
Haha don’t ever really see a law around here unless something going on
