Best unboxing video around. Thanks for the help. I'm an intermediate chainsaw user, so I had no idea how to put together one. The one I've used for the last 15 years was my Dad's Husquvarna, hope to pass this NeoTec down to my kid one day.
I've run a Farmmac F380 for about 7 months now. I've cut a whole lot of wood with it. Maybe 40 to 50 cords worth of logs. The only thing to fail on it has been the bar tip sprocket, and the pull starter assembly. For a saw that I paid 250 bucks for, it's more then earned it's keep. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a Neotec or Farmmac saw and I will buy quite a few more this year.
Funny enough I went out last week a few times to price out saws. The two main saws I was looking at were the Stihl MS 400C and 462C. When I got back home I did some video research on YT about the 400C. Then found that it's not worth paying the price for either of them and I went shopping around locally for a large cc ECHO. Boy was that a disappointment in and of itself. Long story short, the two large Stihl's I looked at weren't worth their price tag and finding a large cc ECHO locally are like looking for hens teeth. Needless to say I started shopping around for these China clones and I'll most likely be picking one up. Mainly one of these NEOTEC's, they look to be made slightly better than the Holtzfforma's you see kicking around. I have plenty of quality saws in the 34-48cc range that all work fine for limbing and bucking up firewood. I need something bigger to fell trees for making lumber when the time comes. I personally have no beef with these China clones. People act like they're stealing something new when in actuality they're just reproducing old decommissioned designs that Stihl & Husqvarna could no longer make because the EPA deemed them too inefficient for current emissions requirements. Ya, it's not an OEM Stihl or Husqvarna but I think people should be thanking the Chinese for continuing to do remakes of these old saws. I've been looking at the NEOTEC NS872, but they also have the NS872i which is the updated version that has some better quality parts on it for a little extra. Who knows, I might just go with the older NS872 because Amazon has a good deal going on it. :)
Very informative video for the unboxing of the chainsaw. I notice you don't even flinch or acknowledge your neighbor trying to kill that pesky squirrel any more. Hope they replace that bar for you also. Be blessed my friend.
FYI I believe the standard now on Husky bars especially for light bars for 3/8th pitch is to run an .050 opposed to the .058 gauge. Worth a double check if your going to get the different bar. You can still get both but I have an easier time finding the .050
not a bad looking saw at all i guessed it i said he will go with a 28inch bar LOL. Man you young guys love those long bars that's a lot of filing i always ran 18 in the winter when its cold and 20 in the summer when it muddy. One thing for sure you know how to file . I have been using those 3 HP saws with the 375 pitch chain on 16inch bars works pretty good light to swing
@@KillingerUSA i do agree on that but i always nick a stone and get a run started then sit there in the woods and file for hours to get it out. Of course, i seem to be cutting smaller diameter trees then you do. We have a tone of dead ash up here
I just ordered their 872 kit and it came with the kit, you know, for not making it into a running saw. I thought I was the only one who makes a complete mess with loctite.
I have plenty of videos of me running all the clone saws. All of them have many tanks of fuel run threw them. A couple of them have been used to mill even. Also on my channel. Some of them are over 3 years old now with many cords of wood on them. But hey, don't take my word for it.
The sound of freedom ringing off in the background has become one of my favorite parts of watching your videos ❤
That's awesome!

Just can't beat it for the money!
Great video! Did you remove that little black ring and the e-clip and leave them both off upon install?
Decent looking saw, i'm going to have to try one soon, i've got the itch!
Lots o fun!
That is a good looking saw and nice tool and accessories kit to boot. Looks like a great starter saw. 👍
Not bad at all

At this point, I don't even notice it. Haha! It's crazy what a person can get used to.
Nice video Chris. I’m still a novice and appreciate the information. Thanks 🙏🏿🇺🇸🪓
I felt weird being so basic in this video but I'm sure it will help some folks. Glad you liked it!

I ordered the 28-inch bar also and what was the problem? Thanks for the help great video on this saw.
My bar was for a stihl, not a husky

I don't mind filling so much. It's worth it to me to be able to stand up when bucking. That makes a world of difference on your back!

Looking forward to seeing it cut👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If you don't mind me asking what was wrong with the original bar again? I must have missed it.
It's a stihl mount. So it didn't fit the husky
Nice saw brother!!
Not bad at all
I thought these were Stihl 038 and 381?
xp372
I can’t believe you didn’t say, “you put your dog’on dog on!😂😂
Haha!
Nice running also. Don’t know if I missed it in the video but what does that saw retail for if you are aloud no say?
I just didn't mention it. Haha it's 379 as seen in this video. I think it's 280 without bar and chain? Link in my description if you want to see.
Nice looking saw! They look better than Farmtec? Let us know how it works out! Take care!!
Will do
You will never have an issue if you don't use the saws

using the saws....
How can you compare them with out having one
I can't
He has had one and has plenty of friends who do..friends who know it well...ruclips.net/video/BO5GSMthW_w/видео.html
It's cool if you have a bad-ass Husky or Stihl Saw - but these clone saws are an inexpensive way to tinker.
Absolutely!
What’s the weight feel like compare to the sthil neotech 872?
Feels roughly the same. Maybe a touch heavier?
Love your videos, but I have to ask. Does your neighbor shoot every day? haha
It's actually a gun range. They are only open Friday Saturday and Sunday.
👊🏼🧡🔥👍🏼
👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
In the wood next time?
Absolutely
😂 Settle down there Handy Smurf
What is the Mix? 50:1?
40 to 1
How would you know you don't have a Husqvarna
Stickers. Color is slightly different

Awh come on I can't be the only one thinking smurf Jizz.. lol
You may be alone on that one. Haha!
@@KillingerUSA lol.. no offense my friend. Just my dry sense of humor lol
I definitely lol!
@@KillingerUSA 👍
You made a massive mistake. Always hold your bar up when tightening. If not it will loosen
I do. I cut UT out of the video to save time in eidt. This isn't a how to.
