He was so small that he was half standing and half sitting on the chair. He sloughed because of this. When he was tall enough to sit on the chair, he postures improved a lot. I am amazed with how this child’s brain and motor skills surpassed his overall physical growth at the age of only 5!
He is neither looking at the notes nor the keyboard. He is looking away to look inside for how he wants the note to sound. At age 5. This is incredible.
Is he only five? I can't believe what I'm seeing. I have a very good musical memory. I know this piece. I can remember each note and tempo. If he was doing something wrong, I'd know. And I tell you that he played this piece perfectly. And he's not looking at any sheet music or the keyboard. This kid is a prodigy. This piece of Chopin is very difficult to play and remember.
I know this piece pretty well too. This is utterly incredible. There are plenty of youtube videos of young kids hailed as prodigies, bashing out pieces without the slightest musicality. This guy is the real thing. He is listening to his own playing and crafting every note. The fact that he is even using the pedals when he's too small to sit on the stool, and has the hand stretch of a young child too ... everything about this blows me away. Definitely someone to watch for the future. EDIT: I have just spotted his other videos. He's now nine. Check him out playing Liszt's _La Campanella_ with incredible sensitivity and subtlety. He has blossomed.

This particular piece is a LTCL (diploma level) exam piece. Incredibly difficult, from the very beginning with the 4 against 3, and 3 against 4 polyrhythms. Just the first verse took me hours. 😅 And this little guy smashed it just like that.
Oh no - I used to be able to play this piece from memory but the point is that by the time he's my age for everyone piece like that that I know he'll know about 20 or more ( and I'll be dead in any case!)
yes, many young people play the notes but there is no light and shade but he has mastered that. How he even has the hand span and he is just looking around casually. Unbelievable.
I don't think that's right. This video only shows the practical skill of the pianist, i think the main thing children lack is maturity in the music. I mean how the hell am I supposed to expect anything i can play anything close to this, but to me what music is about is the emotional aspect. I think he can become a very good pianist in the future because he won't struggle to learn pieces, but focus on adding emotion. He is also too small to fit most advanced techniques involving the muscles in the hand and using body pressure and stuff, but then again the people who made that weren't expecting 5 year olds to play this
@@pacenal_18 I totally agree. He's very good, very skilled, but this is mechanical, not emotional. Not to take anything away from him at all. Exactly as you say, the emotional side will be able to come later.

I get suspicious with prodigies this young. He was practicing piano at 3 or 4 years old, to be this good at 5? Or is he being "encouraged" to do nothing but this 12 hours a day? He was so small that he was half standing and half sitting on the chair. He sloughed because of this. When he was tall enough to sit on the chair, he postures improved a lot. I am amazed with how this child’s brain and motor skills surpassed his overall physical growth at the age of only 5!
He is neither looking at the notes nor the keyboard. He is looking away to look inside for how he wants the note to sound. At age 5. This is incredible.
I agree his musicality is insane for his age

Chopin is well known for the complexity, and difficulty of compositions. Mind blowing, frankly.
This particular piece is a LTCL (diploma level) exam piece. Incredibly difficult, from the very beginning with the 4 against 3, and 3 against 4 polyrhythms. Just the first verse took me hours. 😅 And this little guy smashed it just like that.
Yes. I believe he was accused of composing music that only he could play in his own time.
@@bevinboulder5039 And here comes Liszt sight reading his etudes with musicality so great Chopin said everyone should play them like Liszt.

Мальчик - чудо, просто не верится, спасибо большое родителям, что не упустили этот талант
yes, many young people play the notes but there is no light and shade but he has mastered that.

Reincarnation... Perhaps It looks like he had played It an entire life

I get suspicious with prodigies this young. He was practicing piano at 3 or 4 years old, to be this good at 5? Or is he being "encouraged" to do nothing but this 12 hours a day? The fact that he is being made into a RUclips star makes me even more suspicious. Let him live his childhood and let piano be a natural and moderate portion of his life, that is all.
