- Morgan Tremaine, a former employee of TMZ, took the witness stand on day 22 of Johnny Depp's defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Tremaine shocked the gallery during an argumentative back-and-forth exchange with Heard's attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, in which he suggested she possibly took on the actress as a client in an attempt to gain '15 minutes of fame.'

That's because they don't have time for more elaborate cross. Right now they have 1 hour and 16 minutes for the whole rebuttal in their countersuit (that's enough for probably one live witness or two/three recorded depositions).

If anyone caught it, the TMZ guy said hes not looking for fame and he could get in trouble with TMZ as an organization (assuming he signed a NDA). So without SAYING who leaked the recording he SAID it. He said in order to publish it takes a LONG time to confirm copyright if the person submitting the content is NOT the owner. He said they were able to publish in 15 minutes🤦♀️

As a Lawyer, I can't emphasize just how bad this is going for Amber. Mr. Depp and his team seem relaxed; almost amused at times. Ms. Heard's team looks as if they are playing from behind. Jurors are no different than you. They have formed an opinion of Amber. My guess is that they feel the same way most of us do.

I just hope that this trial helps us to remain diligent when it comes to claims of abuse - I want victims of abuse regardless of gender identity or sex to receive the equal measures of skepticism and justice across the board. I am tired of the fact that men are instantly destroyed when claims of abuse are made against them, even when proven false it is still irreparably damaging to their career, and similarly I want men to be taken just as seriously as women are when they claim they are abused.

Never been a Depp fan, knew he was an actor and liked some of the movies he did. Never followed or been interested in his personal life so never knew who Heard was until this trial (didn’t even know there was a trial until shorts started appearing on RUclips) but GOD DAMN! That woman, her lawyers, her ‘experts’, her witnesses are an absolute disgrace to real abuse victims, and to mankind in general at times. I’m shocked that this BS can even be allowed to go on for this long. I am now a huge Depp fan and despise Heard and anything or anyone that is connected with her. Heard and the people who’ve lied on oath should be held accountable for their actions. It’s shocking that this can even be allowed to happen.

You should instead be a supporter and commend him for taking a stand for what many choose to keep quiet. Not everyone has the money to afford lawyers, or money to fall back on, or rich friends. I'm sure it helps to have these things, but the abuse remains. Don't be a fan now. Be a supporter and be more aware.

This witness was absolutely fantastic!!! HOW is this trial still going on???? There is so much evidence against Amber Heard from photos that show NO injury, recorded audio of her showing her being abusive, testimony stating that witnesses saw NO injury or swelling on her face, and so on and so on. How is this trial not over! Why in the world would she be allowed to be in Aquaman 2 even for 1 second?? Amber is Over. Her career is over. Her name is over. Her future as an actress is over. Nobody would ever marry her again after this. Time to find in favor of Johnny.
