I'm so invested in modern Marvel, I'm just gonna wait til the crowds die down in the theaters before seeing this movie.
If the single-theater doesn't at have at least 300 empty seats, I'm not sure I'd be able to enjoy this film to it's fullest.

Nah I'd say Critical Drinker did a better job in his video about Falcon and the Winter Soldier. There were legit ppl in the comments who liked the show thinking he was actually praising the show because of how passive-aggressively sarcastic it was
It took me half the video to figure out if it was serious or not. He did a good job of just describing the movie without commenting on it.

The Marvels is the perfect example of why you write characters with flaws and give them stakes. So the audience actually has to wonder if there is a chance that a story can occur.
When your characters are all perfect, amazing, dont need nuffin fram no mang! and operate with the absolute certainty that nothing bad will ever happen to them....weirdly folks learn.
They made a story about characters with so much certainty in them, the movies themselves are entirely pointless.
Ah yes Carol is so perfect and amazing that nearly everyone in this movie hates her, either because she destroyed Kree society on Hala or because she left Earth and never returned.

This movie is great! It has created some of the best internet content. Critical Drinker, Disparu and MauLer have helped make this movie one of the most enjoyable movies I’ll never pay to see. Now am enjoying The Woke Critic’s take.

This movie deserves to be on top among classics, such as the twilight saga and fifty shades of grey in terms of dialogue. And dare I say only moon fall and son of the masks story telling are among the only movies that can compare to it.

On a technical note, the use of rhyme and alliteration works marvels (ha). If you want to further your writing style, I'd recommend the works of GK Chesterton, especially his short essays in Orthodoxy and Heresy. They're over 120 years old, so you should be able to get them for free, and they contain some of the wittiest writing you'll ever encounter. He isn't quite a satirist (Jonathan Swift is good for that) but Chesterton's command of the English language is nothing short of art.

Either way, you cannot discredit or disregard figures based on the moral standards of today, that's presentism, and it is destroying what little knowledge we still have left of history. A musical without the name Cats but still has hundreds of cats is the only movie to watch. I am sure this movie will return musicals to the mainstream and create a new viewing success for hundreds of fans. Those hundreds of fans will be anxiously awaiting the next Disney mega hundred million dollar blockbuster equating to a million dollars spent per each fan. This is truly breathtaking as Disney and Marvel ensure capitalism is on its way out as the ROI will be negative to the nth degree. Profits do not matter for a corporation as huge as Disney and is allowing Disney to shrink its size by a mega percent with each DEI success.
