Good information!!👍🏻
Thanks for this! You deserve so much more subscribers
Thank you for all the tips! How you explained your tips made me reminisce about the time I stayed in London. The Subway/Lift/Trains systems were all scary, and the outlets were different (which was stuff I would have wanted to know beforehand). Even though I experienced something similar already, studying in Korea is still frightening, so I'm glad you made this video.. Even though this isn't really related, I wanted to ask where you bought your earrings from. 😅
Cool vid!
THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION :)
What the heck, that jacket is so cool. It's like a Letterman/varsity jacket
Thank you so much, smart guy
Oh god, you have hellotalk too!! I do too😂😊

Hello, thanks for all these informations! But can I ask you something else about korean university? I don't know how to find these specific answers that's why I want to ask them to you, maybe you can help me, because I really want to get into a korean university. Thanks in advance.
9:47 ... it’s the same ones in my country so I don’t need to waste money on that hihi
After my 4 year college in my city I want to go to vet school in Korea. Ive always wanted to go however if I go to college and vet school here in St. Louis I'll be approx. $500,000 in debt....after 10 years of school. So its going to be near impossible to find an opportunity to visit if I take that route. So I thought of going to vet school in Korea. 2 birds one stone type thing lol
I found out that Seoul University tuition is $13,000 every year (6 years..and vet school tuition at Mizzou is $50,000...for 6 years) SO its cheaper and I get to go like Ive wanted for a few years now.
SO Im a bit intimidated lmao the farthest Ive traveled from my hometown (St. Louis, Missouri) is Chicago......😐 so yeah lol
I may end up moving there....but we'll see. After 6 years I imagine I will but lol
I mean..they do give you a Korean class but it's still intimidating 😂😂😂
It's like 4 years from now and Im nervous already😂😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️
I wish you all the luck! You got this :-) Keep pushing forward!
Omg me too!! I really want to study a year or something at vet school in Korea/Seoul, but I think I’ll need to wait two years until my bachelor is done 👀
RexSixteen
Awesome!! You'll definitely be there before me lol I'm jealous I can't wait😭😂
Rebecca Layong
Good to know. Thank you!😊
I think I'll most likely move there🤔🤔
You can use resources like TalkToMeInKorean with their free online lessons that are written out and have podcasts. They are truly fun and easy. Also KoreanEnglishman and KoreanUnnie RUclips channels are cool. You could also search for some Korean channels without English subtitles. Good luck! I hope you accomplish your dream! ❤

I know it may be difficult to remember, but where in Itaewon did you get that adapter? Was it just some random-ish store, or was it a major chain like Gyobo?
Sorry for the hard question, but that's a really good adapter; the ones I got a couple years back are blocks that don't fit well into the circular sockets of Korea. I had to put an adapter on my adapter just for it to fit. P:
Ferdikinns I got mine on amazon but I’m not sure if it still there sorry I can be of much help
Isabella Wright No worries! Much appreciated for the help!(:

Can I know how to get scholarship please, I really need it?
I am thinking about studying abroad and the university that I attend actually has Soonchunhyang as one of the options listed. What was your experience like on campus?
Honestly there wasn't much in the city the university was located. Seoul is a 1.5 to 2 hours away via subway because Sinchang was the last stop. The University itself was pretty wealthy. You'll be living in somewhat the 'country side', so it may smell like poop/fertilizers n the morning. The dorms were nice though, it was suite, meaning there were 6 rooms in one suite. It was nice because there's 12 people living in one suite. You'd be paired up with a Korean student. Most of your classes are located in the same building, especially if you're a level one Korean speaking international student. The Korean students were very nice and they're used to International students on campus as there's a new cohort that comes in every semester. Sinchang was small, but weekends and nights were pretty nice because students would go to the back of the school and drink at the nearby restaurants.
The program itself was great. They have events for you and you get a monthly stipend, depending if you got the scholarship or not...
i went to korea for one year of high school and i want to go back for college! Does anyone know a university that doesn't require courses completely in Korean?
depends on your major but I do think that the SKY universities offer a few majors in English :)
I also heard that the process is timely so I recommend that you start the process as soon as possible (I'm a foreigner so take my words with a grain of salt)
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
How did you get a full ride scholarship!?
how about post grads in dentistry. I wanted to do my postgrads in Korea but I'm don't know whether they have good dental college and about teaching, they'll teach in hangul or in English?
And I searched about it but its all written in Korean which I didn't understand anything. so please leave a comment about any good dental college :)
If you're wanting to complete a degree in Korea in dentistry, most schools will require you to have a TOPIK score of 5 or 6. You may want to consider starting to learn Hangul now.
As for which schools have good dental programs, I'm not sure, but almost all if not every graduate/higher degree program requires a high level of proficiency in Korean in order for you to be accepted.
Good luck!
How did u get the scholarship
How did you get your scholarship? From your home university or from the Korean University you went to.
I got it through the Korean university I attended.
maarcnig how?
You apply for it. If you're one of the top applicants in your school it's most likely you'll be able to get it. It's the Korean university's decision as well.
Do you know any videos on studying abroad in high school for Korea? I'm struggling to find one
Same! and private schools in korea are so expensive.
This is late but if you're still wanting to study in Korea in high school, I recommend applying to the NSLI-Y program. It's extremely competitive, but if you win you get your tuition, travel expenses, insurance, and a monthly stipend covered. It's run through the United States Government so it's trustworthy & has a good reputation as well. Good luck!
@@trinitywood4100 my friend got in and is going during the summer
@@ABIXWEEZY I'm glad to hear that! I applied for two years and never made it past the first application so it's good to hear about others getting their wishes granted :^D
I'll be attending Yonsei University for the next four years starting in three weeks(-:
I hope your friend's studies go well!
@@trinitywood4100 same to you congrats and goodluck on on your semester
I also want to study there but I don't have any idea regarding the admission process eventhough I have googled it. I want to know can I get direct admission in the university?? Please let me know
JESSICA KRI if you want to study abroad I highly suggest you visit your international student office for any opportunities they might offer. Most universities have partnership with korean universities where you would just have the pay the reciprocal tuition abroad such as what you would be paying in your institution.
try to look into your university's parternships, if they don't have one look a other university in your area!
Just a tad bit late, but YES, direct admission into Korean universities IS possible!
It depends on which uni you're looking at & which program you want to go into. For example, I'm beginning my undergraduate studies at Yonsei University in February (Korean Lang. & Lit. program). However, if you wanted to major in something like nursing or what not (things that take YEARS & are very complicated to learn) it's harder to get accepted. For these programs at Yonsei, the application process is a bit trickier & requires you to be fluent in Korean or at a level 5 or 6 in TOPIK scores.
However, whether or not you get directly accepted into a university depends on many different things. Which university, which program, how fluent you are in Korean, etc.
If you have any specific questions feel free to ask & I will provide answers to the best of my ability. Fighting!
@@trinitywood4100 hi, will your course at yonsei be in English or Korean? And how long is it ?
@@trinitywood4100 I'm interested in nursing, but I want to take some prerequiste classes in Korea. Does that sound possible? I found a good study abroad program with the college I want to go to, I just was curious if you can study abroad for your prerequiste classes?
what eligibilities are needed to get full scholarship?
It really depends what university you're trying to get your scholarship from.
What about sejong university ?

do you have an instagram?
Is it useful to study law in Korean universities?

Regarding about T-money card, If let's say you're only there for 7-8 weeks studying abroad in the summer, how much money should you load up your T-Money card? What would be a good amount?
Viv Tran depending if you’re studying abroad in Seoul and how often you’ll be traveling... each entry is about $1.5 in average/ depending how far you go... but you don’t get charged for transfers. You only get charged once you exit and then re-enter.
Whenever you run out of money on your Tmoney you can always reload
Wow, he's cute XD.
Ok thank god we have the same adaptors in Europe 😂
You're lucky cause you had w scholarship I wish I can
Apply for one?

You check the NIED websites or the koica websites. Even university websites they also offer scholarships but at % tuition
This moment when 99% of the comments are from Kpop fans... ( Yes I am also a Kpop fan but I want to visit korea because of the culture... And I don't mean that the other people here just love Kpop... )
