RUclips learning is effective especially to people with small attention span it’s because we can pause and rewind the discussion when our mind starts to wander. Many instructors in the physical school are good too but we can’t pause them 😂
I literally came her to say thank you. I watched all your metabolism videos. I didn't understand anything before watching those. I had my exams last week and i did great in biochemistry paper. Thank you so much. You are surviver. Keep up the good work.
This is fantastic. Thank you. I'm a visual learner and this is so helpful. I'm not a student but someone who has changed to a low carb lifestyle and remitted my diabetes. After 21 months all of my metabolic blood test results and blood pressure are really good and at 65 I have a CAC of zero, but my LDL has increased a lot and I'm trying to learn about the metabolic processes etc to try to understand if the high LDL might be an issue.
I always watch your videos because your explanations are very helpful. I never read my lecture notes because everything is explained well. Thanks very much for that. I really love you.
Same here, I´ve given up on lecture notes and study only from videos like this - best move I´ve ever done.:-) Not only do I learn what I need for the exams but they taught me to actually love and appreciate chemistry a lot.:-)
its the most amazing thing in my student life that I found your channel. I'm so grateful for it. Thanks for teaching so simple yet so deeply. Lots of love too you sir.
I have heard about you a lot from my friends, but always I don't care. this is the first video I have watched. you are really GREAT. I have really regretted not watching your videos from the beginning.
Yesssssssss OMG you are AWESOME!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💜💜💜💜 I'm in tears inedddedddd this video man you make my life much easier now... please don't stop uploading your GREAT videos keep up the superb work.....love from Sudan 🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩💜💜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey people. for a person starting this Metabolism chapter, do you suggest: A) go through this series of "Metabolic Maps" first and then go to the detail ones like "glicolysis" or "glicogenesis" (..) B)go through the detailed ones first , and then go throught this "Metabolic Maps" ???
Hi @Anime4PT:) Hope you're fine I started with the detailed ones and then came to these metabolic maps... Frankly speaking, it doesn't make much difference whatever you choose to do first...coz this video is really soo simple, doesn't matter whether you do it first or at the last...but if you do the detailed ones first and then come here you may go through revision in your mind when Zack is explaining basics... I hope it'll help you😄
here bcuz BioChem prof said to read up on Metabolism..wait I'm paying these MD's to teach me, smh!...can you tutor me in Physiology? You're amazing, spending thousands to med school prof to no avail
I have a question 🙋🏼♂️ This may be more in the realm of chemistry vocabulary but here goes. I noticed all of the colored words are a sort of Compound word. For example, the first thing discussed was glucose & glycogen relation. Glycogenolysis (Glycogen Death) Glycogenisis (Glycogen Created) Well you look at the rest, they all share this same sort of Greek word formatting. Lipolysis Lipogenisis Ketogenesis Glycolysis What is “CHOLESTEROL SYNTHESIS” not called Cholesterogenisis, or some other fancy name? I assume it’s because cholesterol may not be of Greek origin or some other reason? I know this is an abstract question and irrelevant to the entire subject matter. I’m not a med student nor have I any college education. I was just curious! Thanks
Hi Eze Chigozie:) Hope you're fine It helps tons😄 But there's a thing I want you to know. Before starting any lecture in Biochemistry (other I've not watched yet),first go through some comments as there are some mistakes in metabolic pathways and they're not corrected anywhere in the video and they didn't even mention the right thing in the description box... I hope it'll help someone
The color coding is amazing...please don't ever stop using that teaching method! It is VERY helpful :)
Zach You are a gift for all humanity, your passion and your talent and your enthusiasm for medicine it’s unbelievable I hope You will continue ❤❤
and the worst part is that my teacher takes credit for my good grades, when it's all thanks to You guys
😂😂

I literally came her to say thank you. I watched all your metabolism videos. I didn't understand anything before watching those. I had my exams last week and i did great in biochemistry paper. Thank you so much. You are surviver. Keep up the good work.
