I've been using this technique for a few years. It works fantastic. My best friend has very oily skin and she said putting the powder on first when I suggested it saved her makeup

I know Jackie does it all the time but she lost me with all the reverse applications the girl is talented period point blank. Am still trying to hide my hyperpigmentation 🙈🙈🙈 and it's still NOT flawless... so thank you for this.

Setting powder under foundation has been a game changer for me. As a combo/oily person I don't put on full foundation without doing it, and key to what you said, putting the powder in oily areas. Not necessary for dry areas. It really does wear well under the Rare Beauty I wouldn't do it under the matte as you stated e.g. Fenty Beauty. The powder makes my face last all day, especially the Dermablend powder.

I have been using powder first for years since I'm so oily and primers dont do anything for me. I still get oily but not as fast or as much. Your skin just always looks so beautiful no matter what u use 😍. I have to know what is on your lips?!

How do you usually apply your concealer? and how is the application of the Rare Beauty foundation a contamination?
I usually use a beauty sponge. And the cross contamination was a joke

1. DID U WET THE SPONGE WHEN U APPLIED THE POWDER B4 FOUNDATION CAUSE U DIDN'T SAY
2. DID U USE POWDER TO SET UR FOUNDATION AFTER U APPLIED IT
3. AND LAST INSTEAD OF A BEAUTY BLENDER CAN U USE A FOUNDATION BRUSH TO APPLY UR FOUNDATION AFTER U DO THE POWDER?CAUSE THAT LOOKED FLAWLESS LAST TIME I TRIED IT(A LONG LONG TIME AGO) I LOOKED LIKE I WAS READY TO ATTEND MY OWN FUNERAL AND SOMEBODY ELSE...SMH BUT I USED A TRANSLUCENT POWDER SO I THINK THAT'S WHERE I WENT WRONG
1. Yes the sponge was damp, sorry I forgot to mention that
2. I didn’t set the foundation. I typically don’t because powder makes my face look kind of ashy
3. Using a brush for the foundation would also work perfectly and using a translucent powder isn’t bad if you’re looking to mattify your skin
