I literally purchased the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir yesterday! I was in Sephora the day before and I put a drop of the Rose Gold Elixir on the back of my hand, and after it sank in, my skin felt so velvety. It was like that until bath time that night. So I got it and with the elixir on my skin I will finally try the powder technique! I'm in Florida and I was planning to wait until late October or November to try because the humidity isn't as bad during these months, but I'm going to a social event next weekend and of course I don't want to worry about my foundation moving around. So I will reference this video and try it. I will do a day or 2 before the event.

We lived near their church and every Sunday afternoon Rastafarian families ie Father carrying the baby, mother and children following, all with locks and in traditional attire going to church. It was a beautiful sight. Also many groups around the world have been wearing locks for hundreds/thousands of years. Egypt, Asia, Native Americans, Middle East, Europe etc. When I studied religion, we told that the Rastas incorporated the idea of not cutting ones hair from the East Indian men who have hair past their knees. Who created dreadlocks? I don't know but over the years it has simply become a hairstyle. We cannot take credit for it or determine who should use it when we may have "appropriated" it from someone else. That would not be fair.
