- This was sort of a quickie fixed pilot and Kadee job. The pilots are pretty far off from how they should really look so I didn't spend too much time on this project. I also couldn't get the ride height lower by flipping the motor mounts. Still a little better than straight stock...
You're an artist. Your vision and imagination is 2nd to none
Your loco weathering is second to none.
It's hard to describe perfection so just enjoy the video.
Breath taking!
Great looking layout..... Norm
Can you show us the layout in plan view.....would like to see it in it's entirety...... Happy New Year🎊🎉🎊⛄
I love PRR Diesels
Gary the Stalwart Engine
Your layout is gorgeous! I also love the weathering on your trains!
Most realistic layout i have ever seen!!
I've run out of words to describe how great ALL OF IT looks. Your last layout was great but this one is even better!
The horn is fantastic
Nice train action. Your layout makes every thing look so real. The PRR 3RS11 looks and sound great. Thanks for sharing. Greetings Nick from New Jersey
Such a high level of realism and detail. Very nice work Norm.
Saw your layout featured on a TM DVD...very cool weathering.
This is fantastic ground coverage. The grass and color blends are perfect. ..thx for the video!
The layout has such amazing detail. Is a masterpiece!!
I don’t think I have seen a model layout of such realism and detail anywhere The only one that would beat this is the 1 to 1 real thing. Congrats sir 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍🚂🚂🚂🇦🇺
What color do you use to paint/weather your rails? They look really good!
I could watch all day
,TY for sharing
Don’t worry about it being too realistic, the rivet counters can’t do anything about it. Looks pretty good, this... “RS11R”.
Wow Norm looks so freakin real... thanks for sharing and keep up the great work... Lance 🚂👍👍👍👍
One scene after the other. Great modeling Norm.
How old is that diesel Norm!
Not sure, maybe came out in 2010-11? I don't have it anymore.
Norm your layout never fails to amaze me!! The new legacy engine looks fantastic weathered. I can't get enough of your skill level with modeling and the way you shoot your videos. Top class completely! May I ask, who made the engine house you're using? Thanks so much!
Nick-
PghTrainFanatic I know I'm late but the car shop is made by Altoona model works they make really high quality O scale buildings there kind of expensive though.
My goodness Norm. All I can say is WOW! I also saw your layout on TM video. It is one of my favorites. May I ask, what are you using for the ballast and turf around your tracks? It is just mind blowing in realistic!Ken.
mrlionel1965 thx for the kind words. The ballast is Woodland Scenics Fine Cinders, the turf, etc. is various Scenic Express products.
Did you order one of Lionel's Vision Line GG1s?
Toby Pasman no I don't have any catenary to run one under.
Awesome!
GREAT
Do you have the ability to do prototypical operations on your layout?
Jonathan Hatfield I probably could but I mostly run in circles
I have a atlas HO scale RS 11
