Just awesome! I love your videos. Your layout is 1st Class and all the scenery, equipment and structures so realistic. Great weathering and I'm impressed with how well your engines run. Keep 'em coming!
Norm, what an amazing lay out. Job well done! What maker are your track side structures, or are they scratch built? Thank again for sharing your layout.
I run smoke on some engines once in a while, mostly for filming. The smoke fluid can make a terrible mess of my weathering so on most of my engines the smoke is disabled or uninstalled in some engines.
your attention to detail is by far the best that i have ever seen thank you for sharing all your videos
Would love to see everything converted over to 2 Rail Scale... Great stuff thanks for posting...
That ain't happenin' haha
@@normstrains I know... I had to say it... For me it's 2 Rail or it's nothing LOL thanks for taking the time to get back to me.

You have one of the best layouts and your videos and weathering of your running stock is the best not overdone. Keep them videos coming

“COAL TRAIN COMIN’ THROOOOOUGH!” yelled the Pennsy Mikado.

I never got into O scale as a kid, just because it was toy looking to me and the unrealistic third rail. However, what you have is absolutely amazing!
Unbelievable detail amazing quality of work
I always found these engines beautifully proportioned
Norm another great video. I enjoy watching your weathering engine running on your layout. Nice train action. Nick
Awesome video. Very realistic thank you for sharing
This is so authentic!👍
Outstanding. Nothing more to be said
Fricken fantastic as always Norm!
That L1 has a beautiful whistle
Beautiful sounds all round.
Norm, what an amazing lay out. Job well done! What maker are your track side structures, or are they scratch built? Thank again for sharing your layout.
Vincent Vlasuk thx. My buildings are a combination of Downtown Deco, Altoona Model Works and some others along with a lot of fully scratchbuilt ones.
Beautiful!
Looks great Norm.
Very nice!
Beautifully done as always! Out of curiosity but do you roster any of the rather obscure Pennsylvania USRA L2s 2-8-2 Mikes?
K Line made one in the early 2000s. I had one but sold it off a few years ago.
Very realistic
Hello Norm, I am wondering what medium you use for your weathering jobs. Do you weather by pastels, dry brush or airbrush?
Western Drifter I airbrush with Model Masters acrylics, with a bit of dry-brushing here and there. I use a bit of pastels on the running boards.
Thanks Norm, I appreciate it!
Loved your layout! How come you don't run your steam locomotives with smoke?
I run smoke on some engines once in a while, mostly for filming. The smoke fluid can make a terrible mess of my weathering so on most of my engines the smoke is disabled or uninstalled in some engines.
@@normstrainsThank you, that makes more sense.
@@switchpointproductions7927 I was wandering the same thing, now we know, thanks. Ralph
Every clip would supposedly be produced by some classy studio or special effects dept.Much much more skillful and uncommon...
