I just love your tutorials. I volunteer by teaching diy jewellery to seniors and learn myself first by watching online tutorials. Yours are by far my favourite. Yu are helping me help them. Jewellery making is a terrific ( fine motor strengthening) activity for older adults. It helps us to maintain autonomy in later life. Thank you Samantha for helping me to help my jewellery making ladies🎉
I loved this tutorial! I have watched other headpin tutorials but you offered more interesting shapes with clear instructions. I can't wait to try them out! Thank you!
Amazing video, thank you! I was looking at my scrap wire just the other day thinking I need to do “something “ with it. Know what I’m doing tonight while we watch TV. Love these all so much!
Hello Sam, This is by far the best headpin video I have seen! I appreciate that even in a quick video, your instruction is very clear. You are definitely a very gifted instructor!!! Many Thanks!!❤
I sooo love your ideas and how you teach and your pace and low tone, easy voice, know that you are greatly appreciated! Never thought of being able to make my own pins, as always very interesting and useful! Thanks, of course I'm subscribed and also save lots of ur videos! ❤👍
Love these head pins, several I’ve never seen before. I especially loved the one you attached the bead to. Have some cube beads I’ve been wondering what to do with. Thank you!
Too cute! Thanks so much for ideas!I'm using my brain power just learning how to make jewelry (I'm old lol). It gets exhausting finding all these types of components . So much nicer looking homemade! ❤
Thanks, Samantha. That was such a great idea to use all the left-over wires. Plus eye pins, particularly decorative ones, are so expensive to buy! I think everyone I know is getting earing this Christmas from me. Except my Dad, lol.
Your head pins are sweet and adorable just like you ‼️. When I first started working with wire, there were many things I could not spend money on, head pins was one so I would make my own, the knot was one of them. I love it so much I still use it. Thank you Sam for all your help and love 💕
@@samanthalatimer1 i will be ok. I’ve been in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks, I’ve had uncountable procedures, but my son grabbed me a bag full of the “crafty kinds of things I see in your hands all the time that turn into jewelry” and went to the store for me with a list. So I am making jewelry all day every day with what I have with me. I wanted to tell you that yesterday at about 6:15 I started making that men’s bracelet you posted and I had it done in 30 minutes in time to give it as a gift to a wonderful nurse that has taken such good care of me. He finally has a day off, and I Don’t know if I will be here 2 days from now. It looks great on him. Perfect. He is black and Hispanic, so his skin tone really made the silver bracelet stand out. He loves it. I have many men in my life that I would love to surprise with a bracelet if you can dig up more designs. Men are not used to getting jewelry gifts. You’re great, and I thank you so much.
Love this video on how to make some ways headpins, and i love all the one you did and now i have more ways and different ways to make more of them, but you show first of the video and i love them wish you can show us how you make them too. Thanks for sharing it with us
What a great idea with scraps or fresh cut wire. I never thought of using decorative headpins. Once again, thanks for sharing your creativity. I love to create but have nearly zero creativity.
This is brilliant and just what I needed. I have lots of ‘offcuts’ and always looking for things I can do with them. Would love another one on what to do with even smaller pieces of spare wire.
Sam! My Mom and I were just talking about decorative headpins because I was trying to finish off some herringbone earrings! I am thrilled to see this video :D
This is just what I needed! I'm a lefty but the way you explain and demonstrate you've made it so much easier for me! Thank you, and you have a new subscriber! 👍✌️🫶😊
@@samanthalatimer1 At many moments that you want to show what you are doing, we can not see your hands. Maybe it’s just a problem at my sight..could be possible.
could you just use the wire , like #9 and put beads on the tail and then just put the end through your ear/ hole , or maybe if the wire was long enough make a ring ? btw not for nothing i do like your ring :)
Oh absolutely! 💯 That works really well and I’ve done similar myself. And yes… use a heavier gauge wire and bend to form a ring. The world is your oyster 🥰 Which ring? The beaded one?
Thanks
Thank you so much for your very kind support 🥰

Absolutely 💯 As long as the wire isn’t too bendy or too soft 🤗

Love yor work. Where can I find the very fine nose plier , the one with the blue handle? thanks a lot.
If you’re in the UK, you can get them here: www.cooksongold.com/Jewellery-Tools/Tronex-Smooth-Jaw-Needle-Nose------Pliers-prcode-997-3040
Very good idea, could be wear on the on the pocket of a jacket or sth for guys.. no jewelry at all for them
That’s a wonderful idea 🥰
These are very nice looking. I would like to make them, but I’m concerned about hair catching, etc.
Ok. Well I guess it depends on your hair?
Yes yes and yes!!!!! Love them.
Wonderful 🥰
What type of rasp are you using to smooth out the end of the wire? Is it metal or more like an emory board?
That’s just an emery board. Cheap and cheerful but works really well 🤩
I love love this. Now I don’t have to buy head pins. 📍
So good to make our own. Hope you love making them 🥰
Where can I find your bench block set?
I got mine off Amazon. Just separates. Really affordable 🥰
could you just use the wire , like #9 and put beads on the tail and then just put the end through your ear/ hole , or maybe if the wire was long enough make a ring ? btw not for nothing i do like your ring :)
Oh absolutely! 💯 That works really well and I’ve done similar myself. And yes… use a heavier gauge wire and bend to form a ring. The world is your oyster 🥰 Which ring? The beaded one?
Think tarot card, 10 of wands
Oh yes! I love that 🥰
Your not showing the length measurement of the wire to style
Because I’m using wire scraps. So length is really down to what you have to hand.
It's a little difficult to see these with the white background.
The background is grey? Maybe adjust the contrast on your viewing device… that may help ☺️
Too much empty chatter
Ok 👍🏻
This is a rude and useless comment.
