Honestly chino's voice can fit almost any genre of music, and his voice blends perfectly with polyphia's style, Between his spine tangling screams and his beautiful cleans.

I know Melon is just doing his thing, but music reviews these days is such a disservice to music in general. First of all, music is practically free. As someone that grew up with the Deftones being their favorite band of all time... combined with my current favorite band... fuck my life I did not expect this. It's just too fucking good. Contrasted with some of the other tracks on this album.. Polyphia is showing the true masterclass in how to showcase your talent as a musician by not shoe boxing themselves into one type of genre. They danced around rap, pop, metal... straight up incredible.
Still can't get over the goddamn solo. Probably my favorite solo ever now. GREAT JOB GUYS! SCOTTIE! THIS SHIT! YES! MORE OF IT!!! Sounds like "honey coated razor blades," in a good way.
Chino Moreno here and Steve Vai in the previous song? Man it's so great to see you guys helping out up and coming artists. I'll gladly support you guys by streaming on Spotify
I love how both parties managed to keep their distinctive sound without compromising each other, so fresh yet so familiar, My favorite track The Clays are rock solid Tim is.. Well, Tim Scott is an incredible player, seriously how does one make that kind of distorted guitar lead work with the RnB feel 🤯. It worked perfectly its insane
This should be the lead singer of polyphia. This is by far the best pick of vocals on this entire album. The rap was runner up but deftones is the most fitting it gives me goosebumps listening to this it's for sure my favorite.
I disagree. I think stuff like GOAT, Playing God and Ego Death are some of the best music I've heard in my life and I was really confident : "this doesn't need any singer"
Polyphia is a new level of human achievement musically and the visual here is so intensely psychedelic I am in complete awe. How is this music even possible? I thought that I had heard the best of the best music and that it was enough. Polyphia shattered that barrier for me and blew the doors wide open to realize that there is a future to music that is inevitable and will continue pushing the limits and boundaries of human expression. I can't wait....
Wow, those chugging, fuzzy guitar riffs, insane bass and guitar licks, syncopated and complicatedly-timed drum beats and fills all mixed with Chino's vocals. I mean, this may be one of the best...whatever genre you'd call this...songs ever made!
It's awesome seeing the comments section full of support and admiration no matter what direction they're going in. Nothing but appreciation for the talent and confidence to break the mold with every track on this album.

Every fiber of my being has been ready for this new chapter in Polyphia's discography for months now-and yet I'm still speechless. This band never ceases to surprise you with something fresh and exciting.

This is kinda blowing my mind right now. Not trying to slap labels on here but I hear R&B... with metal 🤯 Not enough artists are being bold enough to break out of the boxes and do things like this so elegantly, and I just love and appreciate it so much. And with Chino and his delicious vocals, no less 😍 Deftones has been one of the pioneers and masters of blending R&B/hip-hop elements in metal imo (though their sound is in a league of its own), so it's fitting having him on here. Glad I found you guys. Keep it up!🤘🏾

THIS TRACK IS AMAZING BUT COME ONE, THE POP SONG SINGER SHRED IT !!!!
SOPHIA BLACK MADE A GREAT JOB
Whoosh
As someone that grew up with the Deftones being their favorite band of all time... combined with my current favorite band... fuck my life I did not expect this. It's just too fucking good. Contrasted with some of the other tracks on this album.. Polyphia is showing the true masterclass in how to showcase your talent as a musician by not shoe boxing themselves into one type of genre. They danced around rap, pop, metal... straight up incredible.
'The Deftones' makes them sound like a barbershop group 😅
Still can't get over the goddamn solo. Probably my favorite solo ever now. GREAT JOB GUYS! SCOTTIE! THIS SHIT! YES! MORE OF IT!!! Sounds like "honey coated razor blades," in a good way.
>honey coated razor blades
This.
Chino Moreno here and Steve Vai in the previous song? Man it's so great to see you guys helping out up and coming artists. I'll gladly support you guys by streaming on Spotify
@@nopinionocomnt already on it, thanks.
By 2032, i promise they'll get that dollar
Hate for having badass musicians collab is the duuuuumbest shit
Petition to make Chino join Polyphia forever bc this song is PERFECTION 🖤🖤🖤
Chino and Polyphia????? What a perfect combo! Perfect song to jam out to right after work! I hope you guys do more tracks with Chino.
I love how both parties managed to keep their distinctive sound without compromising each other, so fresh yet so familiar, My favorite track
The Clays are rock solid
Tim is.. Well, Tim
Scott is an incredible player, seriously how does one make that kind of distorted guitar lead work with the RnB feel 🤯. It worked perfectly its insane
I need a complete album of polyphia and Chino Moreno, now!!
This should be the lead singer of polyphia. This is by far the best pick of vocals on this entire album. The rap was runner up but deftones is the most fitting it gives me goosebumps listening to this it's for sure my favorite.
He really should it’s amazing
Then we can say that they can also choose either the vocalist from Loathe or Sleep Token..
@@lifeordeath13 god what a dream that would be
Loathe, Silent Planet or Sleep Token
I disagree. I think stuff like GOAT, Playing God and Ego Death are some of the best music I've heard in my life and I was really confident : "this doesn't need any singer"
3:00 I can't describe how good this solo is. GOOSEBUMPS 🤯🔥
You getting kinda Megadeth vibes from it? Because I am!! In a VERY good way. Haha.
@@nomoreluke Gave me the same impression!
@@nomoreluke very similar tone
@@nomoreluke Also major Dimebag vibes!
Very nice indeed, nice harmony
Polyphia is a new level of human achievement musically and the visual here is so intensely psychedelic I am in complete awe. How is this music even possible? I thought that I had heard the best of the best music and that it was enough. Polyphia shattered that barrier for me and blew the doors wide open to realize that there is a future to music that is inevitable and will continue pushing the limits and boundaries of human expression. I can't wait....
Digital Bloodbath by Polyftones! Sounds good
Peanut butter and Jelly
Well said
pool & water
Proud of you
So true
V..jelly ..no
Day 366 of listening to this song everyday for a year. And with this I finish this jorney. Happy New Years everyone.
P.S. 2024 is a leap year.
Nice one mate. Congrats
awesome
Polyphia with vocals always hits different but this is a flat out masterpiece
Wow, those chugging, fuzzy guitar riffs, insane bass and guitar licks, syncopated and complicatedly-timed drum beats and fills all mixed with Chino's vocals. I mean, this may be one of the best...whatever genre you'd call this...songs ever made!
Un álbum con el chino , sin duda suena muy genial y perfecto.
Saludos desde Perú a todos .
Temon de temones
YES PLEASE. A whole album like this MUST BE DONE
1:40 the vocals in this part sent chills down my spine the first time I heard it, definitely my favorite part of the entire song
ik right? the vocals there are insane, but i don't know if my favorite part is 1:40 or the solo in 3:00
I would say the second voice in this part sounds like Jason Aalon Butler from Fever333 🤔
Very glassjaw like in that part.
for real
@@killtheprinter never heard of glassjaw until now but i just checked 'em out and i'm loving their stuff. thanks for this comment man!!
The solo sounds something like Wes Hauch would write. Amazing stuff!
It's awesome seeing the comments section full of support and admiration no matter what direction they're going in. Nothing but appreciation for the talent and confidence to break the mold with every track on this album.
I am literally in tears... That was magnificent. Chino’s ethereal vocals paired with Polyphia’s clean driving Everything is ridiculous… If they did a whole Bloodbath album together and played live I’d probably spontaneously combust 💥🤯💥 … I’d like that. A LOT. A LOT-lot. Make it happen! 🤩🩸
you are crazy 😜
this song is so magical i wish i could share it with more people because this has to be the best thing i’ve ever heard ngl
This is a huge departure from what I'm used to hearing from Polyphia, and I am 1000% here for it!
Every fiber of my being has been ready for this new chapter in Polyphia's discography for months now-and yet I'm still speechless. This band never ceases to surprise you with something fresh and exciting.
Wow that was amazing! Chino sound so good!
Can y'all just do an entire album with Chino!? Good gravy what a combo ❤❤❤
Didn’t think Polyphia could make a song like this, very well done
by far one of my favorite track , you guys with chino are such a good colab !!!
when world's collide..I love a good Chino feature..deftones easily my fave rock group growing up. 15-20 years later polyphia took that over 🤘🤟❤️🔥
25 yr. anniversary of Around The Fur, today, too!!🎉
These guys are reshaping rock music in ways that will be felt for many years
This must be my favorite thing on the whole album. What a banger, front to back. Love it! ❤️
This is the perfect collaboration. Chino’s voice fits perfectly
It's only fitting that Chino Moreno makes an appearance on the album that brings back rap rock in the year 2022
song has been out for a year and I'm just now in the past month learning it... favorite on the album 10/10 (pretty sure this is going to be #1 song on my spotify wrapped)
Me gusta cómo la banda tocó para la canción y se adaptó a la voz de Chino sin dejar su esencia.
does it start with the vocals? I thought the band makes the song as itself and the vocalist works with it
@@kxlsin they’ve been at this album for 4 years I’m sure they worked with chino throughout the track
@@kxlsin Scott said they redid the entire song after they got some vocal samples from Chino.
Anyone else get Dimebag Darrell vibes with that solo? That was filthy!! This solo was 10/10! Loved every second of it 🤘
Yep.
Definitely with the harmonics, I got Dimebag. With the note choice I actually got Kerry King
I'm almost certain scottie is taking lessons from Wes Hauch, that's a wes hauch solo 100% Well.. he didn't write it but thats the shit wes is up to these days, freaky af note choice, weird symmetrical runs. Unreal. The fact it's in the lower register too makes it so fucked up in the best way
@@jimmybags1494 I think he worked on the album with them. They tagged him and all the other artists that helped with the album on an Instagram post
That's what I thought on 1st listen as well
Day 1 of listening to this song everyday for a year
This is a masterpiece. Two of my favorite artists together, what more could I ask for??
The solo towards the end of this song hits so fucking hard!
Keep it up!🤘🏾
Loving this Colab. Chino be complimenting this style hella. This has to be one of your greatest colabs Polyphia. Just my personal opinion.
You should absolutely do more with Chino. The tone of their voice goes so well with yours
HIS^^^^
Wasn't super into the new album till the last 2 songs, collab with Chino came like a surprise, but it works so well. And now I wonder why they haven't collabed until now xD
Whoever mixed this carved out a perfect lane for Chino's vocals. Bravo! Such an amazing track.
LePage dropped a biblically accurate guitar solo
This NEEDS a music video
Ya best be believin' in this music's video;
Youre in one.
The popsong with the lady was cute and worked but holy shit this is my favourite singer and hits me on a a whole different level. Now I need this album.
I think the fact they are on the same album is as hilarious as it is creatively immense
If you've never checked out Deftones before, definitely check them out. There is something so inviting about Chino's voice and how tone/mannerisms when singing.
@@Manpons also Team Sleep!
Also Crosses 😉
My absolute favorite polyphia song. That chorus riff is disgusting! And that solo is the best solo I've heard in years. Just electric and so full of personality. I had no idea they could make this kind of music. As a slightly older guy, I was in my teens when Deftones were at their peak. Seeing this marriage is incredible. I hear at least 3 of my favorites in this song. Been on repeat for 3 days now.
Y'all have skyrocketed to being my favorite band. I can't wait to see y'all live one day.
Seriously… goosebumps! You guys + Chino’s vocals and melodies are such a unique and amazing combination!
I need these lyrics man, can't stop listening to this
Discovered this song this week and I am OBSESSED
This song needs to be like ten times longer! No matter how many times I listen to it, it ends way before my body is ready
