I haven't much experience with multiplayer, but it's basically the same as single-player but with two characters playing together on screen playing co-cooperatively. As for end game, once you've completed the campaigns there still plenty of levelling to go, crafting, weekly challenges, void crusades, seasonal content and more. There's also 4 different character classes to play as (if you buy the Prophecy expansion) and a 5th coming soon (early 2022 I believe). Thanks for watching!
@@TalonGaming_YT Enjoyed it on my PS4 but what bothered me a lot is that you always had to wait to craft items and you have to sign up with your email which if you want to play really bothers me.

Yes it's WASD, but you can remap them if you choose to. I reviewed the PC version, so I can't really comment too much on the console version, even though it's essentially identical.
Warhammer is actually a table top game. Kind of like dungeons and dragons. The 40,000 universe is pretty vast and this particular game is just one of many and a small part of the overall lore of Warhammer. It's quite interesting. I get the apprehension, really. These days though, I feel like many games need some kind of online tether. Thankfully, this one maintains leaderboards, cloud saves (steam etc), multiplayer gaming, new content updates etc. So in that regard, the need to be online makes sense.
Absolutely, just make sure the controller receiver is plugged in (or is otherwise connected and active) prior to starting up the game. Pop over into controls and at the bottom there's an option to enable controller. While I haven't tried it myself, I've read that the game plays nicely with something like a PS4 or Xbox controller. Thanks for watching!
@@FeiVodsStreams I find threads with people using controllers wirelessly over Steamlink. Unfortunately, I've never touched Steamlink so I'm not sure how you would go about it.
It can be, but there's still plenty to do and content updates to help keep things somewhat fresh. As for weapons, I think it really depends on how you skill your character up and how well you mesh together your equipment, skills and perks. You can be overpowered in a variety of different ways if you really take the time to setup your approach. This is one game where the experience is what you want it to be. Thanks for watching!
Lol. I play warp damage +circle circle +Big sword +energy shield +crusader Don't need to do any other things and basically just can not die because so much energy shield
There are on PC. I can't tell you how active it is as there no active lobbies, but it's still up and running as of Jun 12, 2022. If you have friends online, you can share a co-op campaign and such. I'm sure it's nowhere near as active as it would have been a year or more ago.
@@TalonGaming_YT Exactly, it has no multiplayer. Dead player base. Dead lobbies. 0 matchmaking for any activities unless you create a lobby yourself. For a multiplayer only game this one sure fails at it

I'm not positive, but I've never had a problem with the game. That really sucks. Is your Internet connection spotty? Thanks for watching!!
Great review
Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed! If you're into WH 40k, I have a review for Mechanicus coming this Friday! Great username btw, love it! Thanks for watching!!
how is multiplayer? is there endgame?
I haven't much experience with multiplayer, but it's basically the same as single-player but with two characters playing together on screen playing co-cooperatively.
As for end game, once you've completed the campaigns there still plenty of levelling to go, crafting, weekly challenges, void crusades, seasonal content and more. There's also 4 different character classes to play as (if you buy the Prophecy expansion) and a 5th coming soon (early 2022 I believe). Thanks for watching!
Is a real pearl of a Game
Absolutely! I put alot of hours into it and thoroughly enjoyed it!! It's still receiving content updates too!!
@@TalonGaming_YT Enjoyed it on my PS4 but what bothered me a lot is that you always had to wait to craft items and you have to sign up with your email which if you want to play really bothers me.
@@elbarto6668 you mean wait until you have a high enough level and unlock the ability? It did seem to take a while, didn't it?
Giving away personal data sucks, but at least it's pretty minimal.
@@TalonGaming_YT When I played it years ago, you had to wait a really long time to finish crafting some items. I stopped playing it 2020
@@elbarto6668 that's around when I played the most. I don't think I had that issue, but I was playing on PC. Hmmm.
Are the controls for PC WASD? Is it a default or an option? Are the controls best in console or PC? PC gamer here.
Yes it's WASD, but you can remap them if you choose to. I reviewed the PC version, so I can't really comment too much on the console version, even though it's essentially identical.
@@TalonGaming_YT Thanks subscribed
@@raymacz1922 Thank you, welcome aboard!!
Warhammer? Hmm... I never heard of that game before, but it kinda looks like Diablo. I played Diablo 1 and 3
Warhammer is actually a table top game. Kind of like dungeons and dragons. The 40,000 universe is pretty vast and this particular game is just one of many and a small part of the overall lore of Warhammer. It's quite interesting.
This game is very much like Diablo in many ways! If you liked diablo, you'd like this one too!!
But you didn't play D2? Damn, that is the best in the series. It's okay, you can play the next one when it comes out. D2 Resurrected.
@@gravellergear4703 Haha, no. I was in school at the time without alot of free time. The remastered game might be worth a look though! Wow, can't believe the game is over 20 years old though! Eek!
Was thinkin of gettin this today to scratch that Diablo 2 itch that hasn't been touched in awhile :O
It might just scratch that itch!! It's alot of fun, and you can jump in anytime you get the urge! For the price, you can't go wrong!! Thanks for watching!!
the always online is the main thing holding me back from this. it would be one thing if it was a free to play game but a paid game? no thanks
I get the apprehension, really. These days though, I feel like many games need some kind of online tether. Thankfully, this one maintains leaderboards, cloud saves (steam etc), multiplayer gaming, new content updates etc. So in that regard, the need to be online makes sense.
Question is the game playable with a wireless controller ?
Absolutely, just make sure the controller receiver is plugged in (or is otherwise connected and active) prior to starting up the game. Pop over into controls and at the bottom there's an option to enable controller. While I haven't tried it myself, I've read that the game plays nicely with something like a PS4 or Xbox controller. Thanks for watching!
@@TalonGaming_YT hum I don't have the computer near me, I use Steam Link and I really don't know if I can use a wireless one
@@FeiVodsStreams I find threads with people using controllers wirelessly over Steamlink. Unfortunately, I've never touched Steamlink so I'm not sure how you would go about it.
@@TalonGaming_YT thank you I'll give you feedback in a couple of weeks
I think that would be great and maybe help other people looking to do the same thing!! Let us know!!! Thanks!!!
I'd like to point out that at time of commenting, this video has 40k views. For the Emperor.
For the Emperor!!
Thanks for pointing this out!! That's great!
Henry Cavill is why I’m here.
I've heard that he's pretty big into warhammer!
Nice
Certainly!
This game feels like it was made in 2010. Gameplay is very repetitive and every weapon feels weak compared to the assassin power sword.
Lol. I play warp damage +circle circle +Big sword +energy shield +crusader
Don't need to do any other things and basically just can not die because so much energy shield
Game has no multiplayer.
For a multiplayer only game this one sure fails at it
@@stevenmcsteven6693 It's gone quiet for sure. This isn't an multiplayer only game though. I think the majority of people have always played solo.
This is good game.
I wholeheartedly agree! It was a great bit of fun and nice and easy to jump into anytime to blow off a little steam! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!
@@TalonGaming_YT After the 2.0 update, the game is really fun. The feel of the combat, the atmosphere of the game and the soundtrack are on a very high level. I hope that the developers will develop their game because it has potential.
@@luq8912 100%% - They're still updating and releasing content for it, so they must! It also helps to justify the cost of the game when it's not on sale!
