Pretty cool that they added an offline mode. No more worries about disconnecting and i can totally enjoy the game now without being locked out of gameplay due to server maintenance etc.

One of my all time favorite games which i play almost every day. Have all the DLC including the just released ULTRA FOUNDING. They all many new things to the base game and every DLC faction feels unique and different. Using mods like TOO MANY VOICES fills in the gaps with lore correct over the top spoken dialogue. PROXY just released a new game ZEPHON which is also another home run taking the GLADIUS formula in the same way DUNGEONS & DRAGONS or GURPS use similar rulesets for their different tabletop games to create something new and exciting. GLADIUS is definitely one of those play forever games capturing the tabletop spirit of the source material. Thanks for the great review and Happy Holidays ☕

It’s funny how people doing these videos are saying how SPIN is worthless 😅 If you pick the right Mods, you should have a one shot kill every time; meaning 1 bullet will destroy all enemies even the toughest. Some bosses will take a couple magazines (for example; esseJ) but I won in less than 10 seconds. But before that, SPIN was one gun I used throughout the game!

every guide has said to ignore Spin but with a couple accuracy mods and a rate of fire mod the dps goes pretty hard at ranges a little beyond Shatter's while still being pretty absent minded to use. i enjoy it quite a lot personally

This game is well-known yet still feels somewhat under the radar, which adds to its appeal. I remember being 13 when my dad bought me an Xbox One, and this game came bundled with it. The visuals were stunning, and the gameplay was engaging, though I only made it about 10% through at the time. I recently bought it on Steam and am already around 70% complete. The soundtrack is exceptional and enhances the entire experience, making each moment even more impactful. This game is impressive and ranks in my top three, alongside the Counter-Strike and GTA franchises. It’s not my usual type of game, but something about Ori and the Blind Forest is just captivating.

cool game, love the lore/ atmisphere. playing it for the first time, but combat is a little dry, just max launch and take pierce with extra damadge/sheild damadge etc.. makes combat a bit trivial.

How many teams are there, Ive only seen Blood Angels and Tryanids. Can you play Death Guard or any other Chaos or Loyalist Faction? You didnt cover these in your video which is kinda disappointing.

"There are two main in-game currencies." Yes, but not quite the way you described it. Skill points are not considered a type of currency. With that being said, there are two types of currency in the game: Source and Material Assets.

Great review! This is so random, but has anyone told you that you sound just like Daily Wire’s Jordan Peterson?! lol

It's so crazy that from what I can tell literally all of the DLC is multiplayer only, in such a old game. I paid $38 for a steam key on G2A thinking I was getting a deal. On GOG you can still buy the base game for only $13 with none of the DLC so yeah should have got it there for sure.

Anyone got any tips with dealing with overwhelming numbers of enemies jumping you all at once and throwing shit at you while dodging your attacks.

This is a brilliant game, & contender for the best RTS game on console. If you like to build city & defenses against hordes of zombies in RTS on random generated maps, you will love this; I have played over 700 hours to date & still loving it & still playing.

I gave up a few chapters, I think around chapter 5. The game was okay but I didn't think the are was very good. I had all those cool abilities but I didn't have any smart enemies to test it out on. If they really would have put some major groundwork into the enemy AI the game would have been incredible. It would have also been really cool to see some of the enemies use some of the abilities I had as well, if they did I never witnessed it.

Did you know that all the characters and animations are actually 3d models? If you look closely you can tell there is just a pixelation filter

2:15 you can only get 4 heals per biome if we are talking 0 bc

Wish they'd patch the ps4 version for bc mode when on ps5, to be smoother, sharper a little, it slows down in heavy firing.

These are not bad tips however lack the substance I’m sure more than just me, is looking for. Tips such as, when melee a target that has the potential to retaliate against you, you have the ability to prevent this by selecting another unit to either kill the target or melee the target again to prevent damage taken. Focusing on upgrading leaders and units since the majority are either essential now or essential later. Overlooking a few key upgrades will deny you access to important abilities, fallowing the upgrade tree for units you may not use, can be important and linked to a hero you constantly use.
