I'll be so surprised if Caleb Williams succeeds in the NFL. He was a very good QB at USC, and I know that if USC's defense and other players were at Caleb's level, they'd be a scary good team. But, Caleb brought also brought drama (or at least a lot of headlines) because of his Dad and his talent. I think he's probably a little overhyped. Good luck to him though. I'm totally fine if my take ends up completely wrong.
Overhyped in the sense that his ceiling is supposedly Patrick mahomes who’s breathing down Brady’s neck as the GOAT. I’ll settle for top 5 for his era.
Yeah I get what you mean. Williams has a LOT of hype and media around him. The bears need to develop him correctly if they want to finally have a franchise QB. I think Williams will be good and he seems motivated to play Chicago, but we just won't know until the season.
Caleb is being touted as such because of what? Nothing but how 'Generational' he looks on tape, right? Well, 1) that's a completely made-up word with no real meaning. 2) It's also an empty rhetorical meme of media repeating itself. But 3)... If it meant what we all _thought_ it did it would have to mean no one else's college highlights were as good as his. So ruclips.net/video/5JO1PsupF_U/видео.html presents a problem. While Caleb is making all his great moves, when seen together with someone who zips low-flying passes into covered receivers consistently, always hitting them on the run, while doing everything Caleb can like throwing on the run & at weird arm angles, suddenly every inefficiency Caleb has sticks out in comparison. It doesn't help that this other QB is a better rusher & scrambler. & this is what I meant by 1) & 2). These terms mean absolutely nothing. Caleb can go to the same team, or play-callers that sabotaged any other QB's career & what would happen? Shane Waldron witnessed Dave Canales engineer a top-10 offense first-hand then got his WR & RB rooms doubled & yet accomplished less. _That's who_ Caleb's OC is gonna be, a guy who forced JSN into an unfamiliar role for no other reason than he assumed such a role Must Exist. The _other_ play-caller on offense where Caleb is going is Mat Eberflus. You know why reporters stopped speaking to Luke Getsy? Eberflus Himself made a huge deal about saying He Decided what plays to limit the offense to. When he started defending a highly-suspect play-call by refusing to answer questions about it, he all but confirmed this. Then after week 7 of '22 Fields himself said something publicly. What followed was a change of plays for the next 3 weeks. So even those of you who pretend to have heard none of this (it was *all covered & made the NFL news at the time)* the fact is the pre-D.J. Moore Bears out-scored Mahomes, Allen/Diggs etc. weeks 8-10 of '22 & then *Intentionally Returned To calling plays **_known_** to produce half as much offense* for a full year afterwards. (The better plays returned in weeks 11 & 14-17 of '23). Bears fans: "Fields sucked pure & simple & it wasn't due to play-calling. Also we're glad Getsy is gone because he sucked as the team's Only Offensive Play-Caller." These denials contradict themselves. Y'all defended the play-calling because you all _KNEW_ it was Eberflus'.

Go look back at the Bears strength of schedule. It was middle the pack not in the bottom. Mind you the Bears played the Rams in the regular season that year and beat them easily. The Rams also went to the a superbowl. 🤷♂️ bro is conveniently forgetting key information hmmmm pretty sus man. Smell like a fan of a particular fan base….. also never said the Bears were gunna win the Superbowl. I said they’d be contenders. The NFC was weak, Chicago had the leagues best defense BY far and it wasn’t even close. And a top 12 Offense. 🤷♂️ there is losing by one point, on a mist easy field goal attempt is hardly getting “bounced” 💀 bro doesn’t know any ball at all.
Btw, you said “zero chance”?? 💀, I’d like to know where you got this incredible skill of knowing everything in the universe with absolute certainty to be able to make such a claim? 🧐
@@Ebbs-ez2fs Woof ain’t nobody reading that novel. You’re arguing about a team that won nothing because they were garbage. The end

@@chicagodude8888I'd be happy to see the bears get a Top 5 QB out of Caleb. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong.
Also we're glad Getsy is gone because he sucked as the team's Only Offensive Play-Caller."
These denials contradict themselves. Y'all defended the play-calling because you all _KNEW_ it was Eberflus'.
Met his dad and he’s a proud dad. Don’t let the media sway you. Bear Down.
Caleb,, well we will see. Hoping,, but not sold! We need to play hard-nose d and run more!! You know,, BEAR football! BEARS DOWN
The Bears offense has been the laughing stock of the NFC SINCE THE WALTER PAYTON ERA! The Defense has kept them in many games over the years but the offense has been an embarrassment! Let’s see what happens in 2024!
1985
Yet to prove anything with a rookie QB who’s struggled to move the offense 🤔
Not cool at all to put Cutler front and center of that team. Urlacher, Peppers, and you have Cutler in the center
🐻⬇️💙🧡
They were never good with Jay as the QB. Sorry but it’s the harsh truth!
Bears shouldve kept Lovie smith, imo at least
2018
It’s the McCaskey’s, they were good on Defense and offense was horrible. Never a complete team 😡
Not going to hold my breath, always get hype for what, then 3 years down the line new QB. The McCaskey's need to sell this team already.
Imagine lovie,, with a real QB!! Let's say ,, eli,, or a Brady?? At least 2 super bowls!!
Pretty sure the bears were good in 2018
Ummmm 13 years? We went to the playoffs with Mitch so what are you talking bout yo. Correct your video
Um 2006
PArkey was trash...going on TV the next day and now he's outta ball...also Mitch was so over drafted...
The Bear's owners don't care about winning, they only care about money. That's fine with me. Go Packers !!!

1. Martz was moron trading your best pass catcher
2. Jerry Angelo couldn't hit on first round pick if you had a DeLorean time machine
3.they couldn't put a stable o-line together if you gave them the pats line for that year
2010 was better but not for the Bears.
That’s so funny you keep telling yourself that they were not good. They were average all the other teams around them sucked and I’m of Chicago fan 😂
