Adrian has so many memorable solos that you can do another top 10 with equally great solos like his solos from Alexander the Great, Dance of Death, To Tame a Land, Genghis Khan, Prodigal Son etc
Adrian is an awesome guitarist. Really gritty, bluesy and soulful guitar player. Really contrasts well with Dave's warmer and melodic sound. Great duo. Glad you included The Trooper solo. One of my absolute favourite leads of any guitarist. Well played dude...
This was amazing! Plain and simple absolutely bad ass! I say this also because Iron Maiden have been my favorite metal band of all time since 82 when I was 12 all the way up till today 2022. I always wanted to see them live and I finally did several years ago here where I live in Washington at the Tacoma dome about 30 minutes from my house and it was a dream come true and it's been bothering me all my life, they were absolutely amazing live, deafening loud and spot on and were flawless. I was there with 35,000 screaming fans and we sung every song with them, I'll never forget this experience, it's on RUclips and I went back and watched it✌️
My favourite guitarist of all time..well underrated, fantastic phrasing.. vibrato..the Dave Gilmour of Metal..also fantastic songwriter and vocalist, Great playing you nailed the essence of "H"
Awesome collaboration, great work, you really capture Adrian's feel well. He is in my mind right up for one of the most important players of the 80's Hard Rock/Metal Era.
Prodigal son??....facemelting tone!!! Great video - great topic....love that your playing on LP...jst like early Adrian....I do Maiden on Tele, cos I'm twisted! ( and don't have a choice, haha )
The first solo from Adrian on an Iron Maiden record is " The Ides of March" What a way to introduce yourself. Dave looks more "rockstar" but, Adrian writes such memorable solos.
Excellent choices, but I would substitute Wicker Man solo with his solo on The Duelists. Honorable mentions have to be his part on Alexander The Great and any solo from Killers. Excellent playing (except for the missing notes during The Prisoner opening arpeggio). Good stuff.
Eu curti que vc foi em umas mais desconhecidas. Ótimas escolhas. Belo video. Vc podia fazer um video de making of, pra gnt ver como vc atinge esses tons tao parecidos com os originais
Check out the PART 2 with 10 MORE SOLOS !

This was one of the first maiden songs that really got me into them.
Caught somewhere in time probably the best Adrian Smith Solo

Caught Somewhere In Time as Well
Alexander the Great is also one of my favorites! Especially one note.
better add Powerslave to that great list of solo's!
Agreed! However Dance of Death and Alexander the Great are my #1 and 2 that’s why I’m surprised to see DoD left off so many of these top10 covers
Nice! The outro solo for 22 Acacia Avenue is another great one!

Awesome job! Really good.
His solos always add something to a song, they’re never just in there for show. Really good covers, too.🇬🇧🇬🇧🤘🤘🇬🇧🇬🇧🤘🤘
Nice job. Two of my faves are passchendaele and the seriously overlooked Prodigal Son.
I love it!!! Awesome bro

FINALLY someone shows love to one of the best Maiden songs (Prisoner) and solos \m/\m/ ... knew SiaSL would be #1!
I'm impressed amigo 😇🤘 Adrian tone is not easy to achieve but you do It properly.. Keep it up
I enjoyed the whole thing. I think you played SSoaSS solo the best, not my fav AS solo but I think you nailed that one. Well done!
Alexander the Great, Flight of Icarus and Paschendale for sure🤘🏼
Brilliant..
Wow I love Adrian Smith lead guitar work and Solos I wish I could nail them like you did.lol (I have tried)
Great vibrato and nice sound! Sounds professional.
Master Adrian Smith !

Prodigal son??....facemelting tone!!!
Great video - great topic....love that your playing on LP...jst like early Adrian....I do Maiden on Tele, cos I'm twisted! ( and don't have a choice, haha )

Great sharing my friend! Support and greetings from Poland :)
Thank you very much!!!
AMAZING !!!!!
Thank you!!
Adrian Smith is a god
Nice solos! Although I must say Sea of Madness must have been there!!
I've never seen a 24 fret Les Paul before ? What the hell ??? That must be some kind of special custom one of a kind to have 24 frets ?
Excellent choices, but I would substitute Wicker Man solo with his solo on The Duelists. Honorable mentions have to be his part on Alexander The Great and any solo from Killers. Excellent playing (except for the missing notes during The Prisoner opening arpeggio). Good stuff.
Muito bom, Dexter :)
Gostei da escolha das músicas.
Mto obrigado Ilu!
Anyone remember that killer solo from "The Duellist" from the Powerslave album ?
Great job!! Missing the prodigal Son solo though
Thanks man!!
it would be great if you combine all great solos in one medley. since you play 'em good enough.
👍🏻👍🏻
Somewhere in time is their best album everrrr!

A maioria desses solos usam Floyd
