Somewhere in time features Adrian and Dave’s best guitar work imo all those solos are amazing…With that said awesome job on this it really shows just how awesome and great Adrian is..
My thought was when Maiden started, Dave was clearly better. Powerslave is when they became equals and since then Adrian keeps getting better. Sea of Madness is THE perfect guitar solo
It’s not just the solos, it’s the guitar tone. I wish I could make my fender sound like it does on sea of madness, that solo when the drums go quite is lovely . And stranger in a strange land isint just one of my fave maiden solos it’s one of my fave solos by any band
Great covers of great solos by Adrian! What I love about Maiden is that each guitarist brings something different to the table, Adrian has tasty bluesy licks, Dave has silky smooth shredding and Janick is controlled chaos...together they make epic music. Up the Irons!
What an absolute blast! ...Sunday afternoon, just finished boxing training so still psyched up and this 20 minute masterpiece appears...absolutely blasting it out...top man.
Awesome thank you steph and for adrian work for sharing and for all the band members fans and crew out their you are all amazing and really good blokes. I really hope you all have a great long lasting healthy lives keep doing what your doing. Wishing your all families well happy healthy lives. I just hope it's a great 2023 for maidens
Very cool to see all these in order. It’s an absolutely awesome body of work Steph! Thanks for all the great lessons. Seeing these all in a row was really a good bit of fun!
Holy Smoke! That you can play all these solos so accurately is beyond comprehension! I was always a massive Adrian Smith fan, (not to be underestimated by Dave of course), but this is something else...Can you play all of Dave's solos as well? 😉
Awesome tribute Steph, must have taken you a while to learn all his solos! Dave and Adrian are one of the all time great guitar pairings, been listening to them since Piece of Mind first came out🤘🤘🤘
It was a good idea bro. All very good solos, songs..etc. Today is a National Day in Hungary because of the people revolution against the communist resime and the Soviet army in 1956.
Bonne continuation !

Your vibrato needs tons of practice....it is really dead! Listen to Paul Kossof from the band Free for great killer vibrato. Criticism will help more than praise here, so don't take it wrong!

Adrian Smith is the best. Awesome playing on all of his 1980s solos. I wish I could play them that well:)
Thanks!

Couldn’t agree more - to me, Powerslave and SIT are their respective peaks.
in my opinion Dave’s best solos are on Powerslave, but Somewhere in Time is definitely Adrian’s album
Adrian Smith is a very underrated guitar player. All his solos are so recognizable … and the Stranger in a strange Land solo is a masterpiece!
Great covers of great solos by Adrian! What I love about Maiden is that each guitarist brings something different to the table, Adrian has tasty bluesy licks, Dave has silky smooth shredding and Janick is controlled chaos...together they make epic music.
Up the Irons!
Yes, 3 very different styles but very complementary too.
Adrian is the Best. Thanks for this video.
He did so many great solos in the 80s, and also after he came back in the band...
7th son has always been one of his most prog solos
True
holy ides of march this must've been a lifetime of mastering. props to you bro!
thanks!
Dude!! Phenomenal! You nailed every solo note for note! Exact same tone as well. Excellent tribute to one of my all time favorites!
Thanks!
Congratulations for your playing and tone and also your awesome guitars too.

Always loved ADRIAN SMITH since I learned THE TROOPER SOLO
What an absolute blast! ...Sunday afternoon, just finished boxing training so still psyched up and this 20 minute masterpiece appears...absolutely blasting it out...top man.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it!
Quelle inspiration il avait sur Somewhere in time and Seventh son...
an amazing collection of videos that clearly show his progression as a guitar player within 7 years (81-88)..... excellent job!
thanks!
Adrian is a genius and you a master!! 🤘🤘
Thanks!
Dude you are a great guitarist...I respect 🙌 you ADRIAN SMITH

This was great. Love the work Adrian did on "Somewhere" and "Seventh Son". Very mature!
Thanks! Me too, especially on SIT
flipping awesome.. amazing to see how much his melodic detail developed from Powers lave through to 7th Son... Somewhere in Time is just awesome 👌
Thanks! Yes I think SIT contains his best material
BluesMan, hard rock, heavy metal
You are an excellent guitar player! I love Adrian Smith and you gave us fans much pleasure! Thank you and keep it up! Up the Irons!
Thanks! 🤘
Wow, that was epic dude 🎸 you must have put in some work to learn all them solos 😳 very well done 👍🏻
Thanks! Some needed more work than others ^^ But on the whole, Adrian's solos are less difficult than Dave's...
Thank you for playing those parts 😀
Thanks
Very impressive and very well done. Somewhere in time is one of my favorite solos of all time and you NAILED IT! 👏👏👏

Thanks. A while in a few years, so that wasn't so much ^^ Yes, the greatest pair imo, because of the solos and all the harmonized interludes too
I dont know if its his best, but sea of madness is so underrated.
I've never been a huge fan of the song, but his solo is one of his best for sure
Amazing job Steph!

I just realize now how much influenced by Deep Purple is the 22 acacia Avenue solo
Absolutely nailing it. Would be nice just to have all the individual solos on cd.👍👍
Thanks!
Tasty,tasty solos.
Godo!
The wicker man one awesome too
yes but it's not from the 80s
It was a good idea bro.
All very good solos, songs..etc.

Thanks. I didn't know that (or maybe you already told me 1 or 2 years before and I forgot 😁), so it was a good day to post a video!
@@StephLeGratteux Absolutely!!
Thank you Steph!! 🤗✌👍🏻
Adrian sounds like David Gilmore and Eric Clapton bluesy player
Up the irons 🤘

Awesome I was the only guitarist that could do ADRIAN SMITH ...A E FREHLEY . LITA FORD. SO YEA GREAT 👍 REACTION
Thanks! I'll try to make another video with solos from 2000 to now

why did you cut the ides of march solo ?
Because the beginning is Dave and Adrian together
your timbre is very near from adriam! what do you normally use?
Thanks. I just use some Guitar Rig 3 presets
Where’s all the new stuff?
Many are on my channel, I just haven't made a compilation video...
What charvel mod is that??
IIt's Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas
@@StephLeGratteuxnice I gotta SoCal and I love it. I’ve never seen yours it’s badass. Nice chops 🤘🤘
A lot of Schenker on his early stuff.
Phantom Of The Opera solo is playing by Dennis Stratton
I know but I'm playing Live After Death version...
