saxonsteve- Jannick Gers has DEFINITELY put a stain on the legacy of Iron Maiden. They ABSOLUTELY did not need a 3rd “six-string” guitarist. Gers joining the band was a “condition” by Dickinson of his rejoining, which should have been unequivocally refused by the band, ESPECIALLY Harris(such a discredit to Harris). Furthermore, with Smith’s rejoining of the band, it should have been with the condition(of Smith) that Gers be dismissed; any TRUE maiden fan should think that McBrain, Harris, and especially Murray should have demanded this. Jannick Gers; what a clown and a stain to Iron Maiden.

I played in a Maiden tribute band for many years as Adrian Smith, do top 10 Adrian Smith solos, with my personal favourite of his solos, Stranger in a Strange Land. Pure poetry. You absolutely nailed it, Dave’s ultra fluid style is very hard to emulate, not for you apparently.🤘🎸🤘🎸. I love the pickup jumping you did, often overlooked, very few guitarists do that these days. It’s all bridge pickup, all gain, no dynamics 🤔. Awesome job 🤘🎸🤘🎸👍🍻.

Really awesome and beautiful to hear! I grew up on Maiden and always loved Dave's solos (as well as Adrian's). I remember how happy I was when I saw their videos or concert footage, so I could learn which one played which. After that my ears for them individually got better and I began to tell them apart (most of the time). And I forgot how beautiful and melodic the solo to 22 Acacia Avenue was. Great job!

Muitos falam q Adrian Smith é o melhor guitarrista do iron.

Vc poderia me dá umas dicas? Tenho até uns 3 mil reais para comprar.

That's a great job! You have a really trained understanding of what Murray's fingers' muscles and tendons do. I played Maiden's songs, and specifically Adrian's solos, for years so I know why you seem to be so comfortable in doing that fast magic stuff. At that time, after a lot of song learned, I was able to learn the main structure of a "new" solo from Adrian at the first guess. Your own improvisation style is molded by your favorite artist's style and you just come along in seconds while approaching a new song.
That was a magic feeling... of course that was the artistic job of another person, not mine, but I kind of felt a connection. I think and hope you felt the same thing. That's the important stuff to be proud of.
The comments down here, with all the due respect to everyone whose taking the time to write, are just a secondary thing.
