Nice job getting Dave's tone and legato approach. Between Dave and Adrian, I think the general thought is that Dave is the whammy-bar wild man of the two. But you just did his best 10 solos and (unless I missed it) I don't think you touched the bar once.

You modified a squier and turned it into Dave's Paul Kossoff strat, thats damn impressive. Would be great if you could tell us about the hardware used (including the squier model).

When it comes to the 90s, I think Janick had the better solos between the two of them and I just prefer his frantic style more which I base mine off of just like Janick based his off Blackmore (another one of my favorites). The Assassin has the best solos in the 90s along with Lightning Strikes Twice.

I honestly love the variation to 22AA that you brought! Murray plays it 10 bend, 8-10-8 hammer, 9 string below, then the scale run (in the studio). Instead, how you did it brought the same notes but with a variated energy I really liked! I always play it like the studio, same with Phantom of the Opera but I’d actually like it learn one of his live variations. Another solo of his I want to learn is The Prophecy. Also, I absolutely love how you have the same configuration as Murray’s NoTB Strat.

Brilliant execution. Thanks for this! In my opinion this was the pinnacle of maidens musical creativity. With similar arrangements in flash of the blade and back in the village, we see adrian and daves composing at its peak. Also my fave AS solo of all time.
