The modifications made to this 59 Super Lead include replacing capacitors, adding the HOT MOD (an additional gain preamp), and swapping the tubes for the models used by Eddie (12AX7). Additionally, the cabinet was handcrafted with two JBL speakers (on top) and two Celestions (on the bottom), just like the configuration Van Halen used in the studio. Excellent work. The best Marshall captures I've ever found! One question: What entry level do you recommend for capturing Eddie’s Drive? In my setup, it seems to have less gain than in your demo.
