@@thomstunes6485😉👍 Pick tapping from AS Flight666 solo! Can't reproduce it correctly with a thumb pick, edges are to small and not handy, so I used classical tapping instead! 🤘
Very well done, chapeau! Adrian Smith manages to create a song within a song through his solo work. That earns ten times more respect than some shred-style stuff.
Adrian forever ! La structure et la mélodie de ses solos sont justes incroyables et cette vidéo est un bel hommage à quelques uns de ses plus beaux coups de fusil. Encore bravo ! J'en ai les oreilles toutes émoustillées...

Currently doing a bit of DIY, I've needed to put down my tools of the trade and instead concentrate more earnestly on the music at hand. Greatly conceived by Mr Smith, ably reproduced by the person in question. Loved the way the wah-wah in particular on TNOTBeast was executed. Wrapped up proceedings in exemplar fashion.
WOW! Absolutely kick ass! You totally nailed the solos AND the tone. Brilliant! Also, tonally this is a great example of why I prefer the Super Distortion to those Hot Rails Dave and Janek use. They're just too pinched sounding and dark. The Super D is the best.
Brilliant job! Have you also tried the Somewhere in Time solos? They are beautiful, especially from the first track! Keep up the amazing work and cheers from Brazil!
Great stuff. Love the idea of covering live versions of solos. Any chance of H's solo from The Prisoner as performed on The Beast Over Hammersmith gig?
Excelente trabajo. Smith debe ser tal vez el más inspirado de los tres (cosa que no le quita mérito a Murray y Gers). Hermoso....!!! ❤️👍🤘🏻 UP THE IRONS.
Many thanks 😉. "Freedom", yes, that's the feeling! Actually it is harder than playing with a regular pick. But when I tried to relearn playing with a pick I felt handicapped!
We can all agree that Maiden guitar players are generally underrated. But when someone does pay attention to them, it's Dave that gets the attention. And rightfully so, he's a beast. But Adrian is the such an example and for sure super underrated. Not that's he's a beast in any way specifically, but I think he doesn't get the love he deserves.
Dunlop, Medium. I'm cutting it and sanding it as a Jazz lll. I make it sticks out from the thumb just as a regular pick, you know? It is really really stiff 😉
Many thanks 😉👍 It is a Dunlop Medium thumbpick that I cut and sand as a Jazz III pick. A mix beetween a pick and a pick holder like ex-Megadeth Chris Broderick!
@@LudovicFaraill cool, I am using the same amp modeler in my AA3. Do you know if is possible use something like BOSS FS-7 to do a bank up/ down with external pedal? thanks!!!
@@PedroCassettari10 MIDI only. I'm still using my very old but reliable Boss FC-50 to switch between presets! Small footprint as you can see on the cover picture

Being able to play like that and enjoy fishing is the definition of contentment.
Loved how you've played some of the later arrangements instead of the originals, like in Icarus, Wicker Man, Ancient Mariner... Solid work!
Many thanks!😉👍
The tapping part in Rime of the ancient mariner suits reallyyyy well !

That's how Adrian played the Wicker Man solo live in Paris in 2018 and during this tour ;-)
Great playing 🤘 how are you finding the Jackson? It looks great.

Absolutely not😉. Now they are mixing parts live. But Adrian Smith solos are played historically by AS only.

More than 2000€ (used it ranges from 1400 to 1700€)
