hi, say i got my phone fresh out of the box and formatted it wrongly (it actually happened), now the battery drains very fast...in like seconds. Does this process (calibration) help fix it or should i get a new battery?
Hello! I installed a new battery on my ipad air 1 which is an expensive 8500 mah battery and it was draining really fast. Then I decided to do the calibration and drained to zero percent, left it unplugged overnight. When I plugged in to the outlet it turned on with 14% battery. Should I discharge the battery from 14 back to 0, or proceed to further instructions according to the video without paying attention to battery indication glitch?
i was doing this method but when i turned off my phone completely and left it to charge one of the kids replugged the main extension cable twice and it turned on so a mistake was made, but is it okay? do i need to redo the entire process again?
My ipad 9.7 2017 has a new battery and has lost its battery procentage count i have drained the battery to 0% and left it for 17 hours but it still indicates the Needs charging animation is this good or is it still not fully drained. Do i still need to wait or can i charge it to 100% and leave it for 8 hours
Hi so the problem occurring is i m using iphone 5 (as a secondary device) on ios 10.3.4 with 99% battery health as checked on 3utools.. the problem is sometimes phone works perfectly fine other times i see a sudden drop example 80 to 60 in couple of minutes without usage If i am using the phone listening ti music it works fine Can you please help how can i fix this issue?
Something is really wrong with my iPad Pro 9.7“. It drains fast and sometimes freeze the percentage. When it dies it shows me the discharged battery icon 1 or 2 times. After that I can start it again and it has like 20-40% again. After unlocking, I get the 5% warning and after a few seconds (or sometimes a minute) it goes to 1% and dies again. Then it does the exact same again
iphone 6s was discharging rapidly after software update. followed step by step instructions (except authorized charger). issue has been resolved. Thank you
@@SNspace6667 Can't say. No identifying marks on the cable, other than 'CELL' on the phone plug and the universal USB image on the other. I have the USB plugged into a DVR as the power souce.
Can u help me like my battery drains so much fast like in just 15 mins and then it stays at 1 percent and it took like 2 hours at 1 percent to zero like to be dead what I have to do plzzz help reply me mine Is iPhone 11 and it’s maximum capacity is 91 percent like battery health
To drain your battery when you cannot boot the iDevice you can use tape to keep the power button pushed so it always shows the discharged battery symbole :P
My friend, my iPad 2 was dead for 2 months, I had to charge it for 30 minutes for it to power on. It’s totally safe. You can do the calibration on your device safely.
Doing some research while doing I think recalibration. This apple ipad air 2 I have It's turns on sometimes when inserting power plug. But after 10 minuuts or so turns of. And says 0% (on post) Never charges So I hope Iam lucky and sticking tape on power button and volume down. For 12 hours now I have hope when booting iOS it says 30% now. As of before 100% Hope it wile charge tomorrow in post ☺️
iPhone 7 Plus: This worked for me. Only thing I’d like to mention is that to switch off the phone in the ‘first round" I simply held the power button and then "slid" the phone off. When I held power button and down volume button, a screen appeared asking me to connect to computer to reset phone. Consequently, I started from the very beginning again but used the power button only to switch the phone off. The rest of the procedure I followed exactly and it worked! GREAT!
This actually decreased my battery’s health, just do it once in 5 months maybe 😂😂😂,and if it is necessary , lithium ion batteries don’t like to discharged
My iPad is jailbroken. If I leave it for 8 hours, will it turn on properly?? Edit : I recalibrated my battery and my iPad successfully turned on and is working.
My friend, my iPad 2 was dead for 2 months, I had to charge it for 30 minutes for it to power on. It’s totally safe. You can do the calibration on your device safely, and yes this is very safe
This is not necessary honestly... It actually lowers your battery life over the long term to do calibration so often. It is always recommended to keep between 45 and 75 percentage.
When I got to step 5, the phone started to turn on so I turned it off again and proceeded to the other steps. I’m afraid this dld not work for my phone.
I knew this guy is brazilian when he said two instead of to , its a verry normal mistake as im also a brazilian i had this problem , so you speak realy good but remember to stop to say two every time you realy wana say - to power and not two power , because two means 2

how do you drain the battery to zero?

CAN I USE MFI CERTIFIED CABLE
I Love your videos they help me and also my grandpa 😂 u Are the best🙏🏻
Thank you very much for the video, it helped me a lot!
Bit of sound dampening panels around you would do the trick
Also the battery drains so fast. That it skips the percentage. For example it will go from 100 percent for a wile then to 90 percent

try calibration then if it doesn't work change the battery
Best explanation i've ever seen. Thanks ❤

1) Hotspot
2)Location Services
Can You teach me how to set ?
@Daniel About Tech,
Great video, how would you calibrate a Samsung S9 phone?
Do you did it the same way?
How do you do a hard reboot for an IPAD
This is the best explanation I've found. Thanks a lot. I'm gonna try it tomorrow.
I did the same but I can’t calibrate the logo didn’t came out
Is it safe for some 79% capacity ??
Mine’s at 78% lol. So far, so good.

How do u do the iPad as u didn’t really explain
I’m starting this process with my iPod touch 6 right now. Because it dies at 11 percent
out of topic, but i like the way you explain things. thankyou
just wanna ask,why my device doesn’t turn back on automatically after i forced restart it,and sorry but your comment is the latest so….
Gonna try this later thanks
What about the MacBook ???
Are u don't calibrate dem
You never told us the forced restart procedure for iPads. Mine is an iPad Air 2.
It’s the same procedure as the iPhone 6, hold the home and power button down until the apple logo appears.

This basically means that its at 0 percent but your phone detects it as 15

Omesh Vidurshan you’re welcome I’m actually calibrate my iPad’s battery too. It’s battery hasn’t been calibrated for 8 years. I recently got the iPad.
Saad Fazali :Ok 🤗
Most modern electronic devices , like iPhone,iPad,etc use lithium ion batteries, battery calibration is unnecessary on lithium ion battery.
My sister has a phone and her phone won’t charge while she is talking to me on the phone only when she’s off it
thank you for sharing! this is big help!

That because you have an old iPhone, to turn off the iPhone on the iPhone X and newer models you must press the down volume as well

Modern devices don't need battery calibration. Additionally, every time you recharge a Li battery, its lifetime decreases.
Well it should be working on iPhone XS Max or below that
This sound risky... with drained battery for 8hrs I think the battery won’t work after that...
