Great video, Shamir! I fly a T206H with the New Mexico Civil Air Patrol. A couple of the challenges for us are high terrain and high density altitudes during the warmer parts of the year. Managing cylinder head temperatures is important, and our goal is to keep them at or below 400ºF. Summertime has us keeping the cowl flaps at least partially open and adding 1 gallon per hour or more to get this done in climb and cruise; the only time they're closed is on descent for landing to avoid shock cooling. Landing the airplane is interesting, especially with a tailwind. I'm based at KABQ and it's the only Class C airport in the state with regular commercial airline traffic. ATC is either managing East or West flow, and until the tailwind speed exceeds 9kts, they usually don't switch runways. I just love the airplane!
What a great video. it's been a long time since I have been in Puerto Rico .... my family is out of Aguadilla ... I haven't flown a turbo... I fly 172 and archers, I have been looking to possibly buy a 206 but right now I belong to a flying club. Thanks for sharing your video !!!

What are the dark patches in the ocean? Is it kelp? So the turbo has a manual waste gate? Is it a spring controlled valve or is it on the exhaust side?
Hey brother love the video. I have a private with a single engine commercial license. What are the requirements over there to get a job like yours, and are they any company that are looking for pilots. Thanks
Beautiful airplane and great job on the video BUT this thing is a gas hog. The fuel burn on these is actually over 30 GPH on climb. Time for lead burning lycomings to be replaced with diesel in my opinion. 30% more efficient and no toxic lead going into our environment.
Soy estudiante aviado me encanto tu vuelo gracias por revivir esa experiencia maravillosa.

Esa vista de Culebra y Luquillo es espectacular.
Gracias, el dia estaba impresionante para volar.
Had the C210 version.. :-) 200 series Cessna's are great planes to fly, especially if you are taller!!!
I've always wanted to fly a 210! Specially the Pressurized version!
Great video. Keep’m coming!
Nice job Captain.
Thank you sir!
I dream of having a flight school in the DR! Thanks for showing that GA is very much alive in the carribean
I did exactly the same flight a few years ago with a brand new C172 G1000 equipped ;-)
Thats a great setup to fly! I haven't flown one in a long time and wish to fly one soon!
Shamir tremendo felicidades, voy para la isla pronto me gustaría volar un poco por allá.

Thank you Mark!!!!! I really appreciate it!
I enjoyed this flight.
Nice job! And great views! I was under the impression that the T206 has automatic wastegates so the engine can’t be overboosted. Am I misinformed ?
Hi Ervin, I'm not 100% sure. I'll double check next time I have the POH handy and let you know.

@@fersobe It wasn't that great. They are old and full of problems. But they do have a high useful load and are pretty fast for a piston.

I have a lot of hours in a 206 with the IO-450 but unfortunately if had the opportunity to flying the Turbo G1000 206 model please contact me 'm
I didn't know this transition in San Juan, usually I proceed Tango Transition
Yeah, Tango is mostly used... Low Offshore is used mostly by locals!
Great video of my island...Why do always have ur hand on the throttle?
What are the dark patches in the ocean? Is it kelp?
So the turbo has a manual waste gate? Is it a spring controlled valve or is it on the exhaust side?
Might be shadows from the clouds.
On the turbo, you got me on that question. I'll have to find out!
Nice Video THanks
Glad you liked it
