Yes Rich a great aircraft, I have at least 500hrs in the 206 flying them in the northern territory in Australia. A very common aircraft in the Australian bush. A bit pricey, I will buy one after winning lotto.
flew out of compton,el monte with my dad-in 50ties,early 60ties--way diffferent--atc is on top of it now with lots of info--you were on your own in those days!! dad was ww2 pilot so knew how to dodge incoming!!--flew to catalina a bunch of times where my aunt/uncle had a hotel--loved those days other than the freakin smog around LA---it sucked!!
This one had a couple low compression cylinders so we felt rather than replace a couple, an airplane this new nice should just get a top overhaul. We don’t see it as often on Lycomings but still do once in awhile.
One thing I don’t like about 206 is no co-pilot door so I really like the Wip door even though it’s narrow compared to the pilot door. I’m a fan of it.
Good evening Rich! One of your subscribers here. Quality keeps getting better on your videos, thank you for creating the content. Quick question, though. If we were to go to Long Beach, do you know who could give me and my wife a ride to Catalina Island for a fair price?
Hey Rich, your new intro rocks…and so does that 206TH. Thanks for all you do for us!
Thanks!
The landing was smooth as butter 🧈. Well done Rich.👍💯🛩️

We had a 206 when I was a kid and the skis and all the luggage was hauled no problem
Great plane
Nice plane. It's Guuud
Indeed it is!
With the electronic mags do you still check them on run up? The plane has a great looking paint scheme. Thanks for the videos.
We do at my school.

Really nice one!
@@FlyingwithRich Thank you. It looks really nice.
Sweet plane.
Thanks Rich for the video, great flight.

Nice airplane load wise my PA32 wasn't far behind. The tower to tower clearance put you in a good bunch of traffic..great controller though. Thanks
Thank you.
Great video and tutorial as usual Rich.

More info on pros/cons of the upgraded mags.

Bery much like your intro...beautiful 206...
Glad you like it!
Hi Rich,
great video!
Could you recommend a school that provides Pilot training on Cessna T206H?
Why did it need a new set of cylinders so early? I felt like Lycoming engines had better cylinders and could go all the way to TBO with it?
This one had a couple low compression cylinders so we felt rather than replace a couple, an airplane this new nice should just get a top overhaul. We don’t see it as often on Lycomings but still do once in awhile.
Great new intro Rich - keep these videos coming!
Will do - thanks for the message!
Like the new intro
Thanks!
Hello, you seem to edit out a lot of comms, Im learning and having trouble understanding them, so want to hear all i can…… ok, bye.
Sweet motivator.
Rich you forgot to call me,,, !,,,, lets do this flight and I’m ready
Great video!
Thank you!
Nice new intro.
Thanks!
Interesting and enjoyable as usual. Thanks 👍
Thank you!
great airplanes. Hey, quick question. Is the 206 basically a 210 with fixed gear?
No - pretty different airplanes. Similar in size and engine HP but different wings, fuselage.
Great plane.
👍👍👍👍👍
Lovely plane! Hey Rich, you look seated very low in the 206, can you see the engine cowling from the pilot seat?
Yes - maybe seat was low. It has good range of verticals adjustment. Thanks for watching!
@@FlyingwithRich love your channel, your proficiency and professionalism. So enjoyable to watch. Take care
Thank you!
What do you think of the Wipair passenger side door instillation for the 206?
One thing I don’t like about 206 is no co-pilot door so I really like the Wip door even though it’s narrow compared to the pilot door. I’m a fan of it.
@@FlyingwithRich Never understood why Cessna does not include the passenger side door in a aircraft like the 206.
Good question - would be an excellent upgrade. Maybe they made a deal with Wip!
New sub ! Liked 🚀🚀😀
Thank you!

Sure. Send me an e-mail. I’ll get you connected.
Is the turbo jet fuel?
does this aircraft contain an autopilot? r u using it?
Yes and yes I used it in the flight.
How do you navigate airspace in California
It’s actually pretty easy - just need to get oriented with someone who knows the area. Thanks for watching!
What a greaser !
Thank you - easy airplane to land.
I thought nose gear was last in the runway@@FlyingwithRich
