CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Fear takes hold as CJ (Michael Kelly) abuses his authority, forcing Kenneth (Ving Rhames) and the others to remove him from power.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The feature-film debut of director Zack Snyder, Dawn of the Dead is a modern retelling of George Romero's 1978 horror classic, which was actually the second film in a trilogy that began with Night of the Living Dead and concluded with Day of the Dead. Sarah Polley and Ving Rhames star as two of the last remaining people on an earth that has been ravaged by flesh-eating zombies. After escaping to a shopping mall with a handful of other survivors, they decide that they only way to truly elude the approaching throng of undead is to somehow make their way to an island that is supposedly zombie-free. Jake Weber and Mekhi Phifer also star.

From a Security Supervisors stand point C.J. was right!
I disagree. There are strength in numbers. He originally wanted just his three to have the whole mall to themselves. Eventually the power would have went out and they would have had no plan and died at some point anyways. He was right to a point, but stubborn and arrogant. He did however have a good heart and was loyal when it counted. In the end they were all screwed. There was really nothing they could do. The Zombies were growing en mass and they really had nowhere to go.
Not if you're letting dumb people in like Nicole who are willing to put the group at risk for a single dog...
well...he did have a good heart, and smart.
@@LoneRanger-gv3hg Not really. The suppoes were running low as it was. And when the power goes out, as it did, that means most of the food would go bad.
Actually he's not ...
In the movie Marshal law was imposed meaning the cop was in charge not security.
I liked the security guard. He has a good character arc. He seems like an asshole at first but really hes just thinking of the safety of his men and everybody else. And in the end he ends up sacrificing himself
He's the jerk with a heart of gold; in short, a non-romantic tsundere.
Uncle Fester Richard
thanks for the spoiler fucknut
@@MA-oo7fw A spoiler to a 2004 movie, which you just watched a movie clip about without having seen the movie?
@M A
The original 1978 version is better anyway.
Cj might have been correct but it was truly the girl with the dogs fault.
AllPureSkill and Steve, if he had stayed at the door then they would’ve been able to shut it before the zombies got there
imagine if one of the walking dead characters face zombies like these that can run
They're fucked.
what do you perfer. 45 percent of Ombie all over the world can run. or 95 percent of zombie walk normaly slow.
+Chaun Tyree I said do you perfer 45 percent of the world cover with running zombies or 90 percent normal zombies around the world. or 30 percent of zombies around the world that can fly
Chaun Tyree so which you perfer
STAY OVER THERE! kinda hard cause they can run hella fast.
CJ kinda looks like Trevor Phillips
He may look like Trevor but he still couldn’t follow the damn train.
ZackAttack R.P.G I thought the same!
I think he's the guy that played as Trevor , Steven ogg is his name
@@alexcaldwell9930 Steven Ogg is Trevor, but the guy in this movie isn't Steven. But yea they look the same tho
He also sounds like those teens who rage on Cs:go
CJ was correct from the start.
you know what, I DONT WANNA DIE
Yeah you're right Nicole lead the deaths of Cj, Micheal, and the others all because of a dog. If she wasn't stupid and had waited and not drove over there they would've had more time to prepare for their escape which would've meant less deaths. Ex. The Wrong people.
Nah CJ and Micheal died on the plan that was already going down. Tucker died in the rescue mission when he broke his leg falling into the manhole
Just like Shane
wιѕegυy and one of the people already in the mall was infected
lmao at that dude jogging behind the truck at the start
I know this comment was two years ago but this had me absolutely dying
@@KingGriffithsame 😂😂😂😂
That guy was right the whole time. They could have all lived if they listened to the mall cop.
They were already in danger with luda. Luda was already infected by the zombie security in the mall fountain.
SparklingOwls also they eventually had to move , couldn’t live off the supplies there forever
Plus they where still okay later on until Anna had the plan to go to the boat
@@ryans413 wasnt Steve the one who planned it but used them to try and leave himself?
starbucks latte will only take you so far though
If CJ remained in charge, the entire crew would have survived and remained happily ever after
For a few more months, maybe. Supplies will run out, and more zeds continue to crowd outside the mall.
@mohd firdaus it would work in theory but in practice probably not its hard to grow enough food to self sustain with the limited supplies and skill
@mohd firdaus Most fruits are genetically enhanced and lack certain proteins within seeds, which is needed to properly grow fruits
@mohd firdaus oh yeah gonna love to see how you grow fruits without any soil...
@mohd firdaus
They grow in soil. I dont know what you want "googled". Known for "terraced farms".. Basically a way to farm on hills
CJ = The Badass Zombie Slaying Man of the 2000s before Daryl Dixon
For the longest time..I thought Cj was played by Steven ogg..Cause he looked alot like Trevor from gta v and he acts the same way here
I sorta did too, It's the power of the handle bar beard
0:58 security guard looks like Zac Efron
Emy Ramirez exactly
Yeah at first glance, until I saw his jawline. I realized it's Kevin Zegers.
The security guards where right, they should have never let them in!
CJ has one of the best character development that I've seen in any movie or tv show. I didn't like him at first either, and by the end of the movie he was easily my favorite character.
Watching it over and over again, I noticed some details about him that I didn't notice before on my first viewing, or even second. The signs are there that he is very much caring. He was very determined to keep his people alive, even the new group.
"Shut your beep mouth!" Gets me every time!! lol Like this scene.
"Well, for one thing they're driving a truck". Great line!
"oh and shooting gun"
in the apocalypse, you can't trust anybody
Bro for real C.J's character is badass
Fr if someone pointed a gun at me idc I'm shooting them😩
In reality, the only way humanity survives long-term is through trust. Sorry to burst your bubble.
@@Ragitsu agree at some point you need trust but it better that you stick with ur group at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse as they are someone who can actually trust and in the middle or still early at the zombie apocalypse you need to be careful who to trust
And also always check everyone to make sure they not but for example the husband knows his wife was but but still did not kill her and in return kill an innocent old lady that is why you need to be careful of people just because people can be nice when it comes down to a certain situation people show their true colors they can rob you, kill you and abandon you
Thornhill Square, I remember driving past the mall and seeing the "HELP! ALIVE INSIDE" I was like WTF? Then I saw all the actors dressed as zombies and realized it was a movie being filmed.
WTF Moment😂😂😂
Lmao Nice. I wonder how many people also drove by, saw it, freaked the hell out, and went home to get their families out of there quick 😂
Thornhille, Ontario is where this movie was filmed. Always wanted to travel to Ontario just because of this movie & see it in person. Your so lucky you live there.
He’s like Trevor
Agree must be Trevor twin
This is one of two zombie movies I have on DVD. The other one is Shaun of the Dead
I met Michael Kelly (CJ) once, buying groceries at my local supermarket. It was right between his stint on the Criminal Minds spin off and his time on person of interest. A really nice guy. Nothing like the character in this scene.
God, the blonde got on my nerves and I don’t see how someone like her could survive because she’s crying to Michael that she’ll help him after he’s been bit at the end.
Who is watching this clip during this lockdown 🖐️
LOL @ 1:03 Sarah Polley went hard on CJ!!!!!
1:09
Security guard #2 (don’t know his name): *maybe you should show her how to use it*
Michael: *let me show you how to use a fist*
the young security guard is awesome
Bart ??
He means Terry, Bart sucks
I was literally jus watching this yesterday. In honor of the coronavirus
CJ was pretty funny in this movie. When they're running from a horde of zombies close on their tails and he has time to comment how much he likes the song in the elevator.
Upside to that is there was no actual music playing when they shot the scene with the line being thought up on the spot so the cast's WTF reactions were genuine & Zack was smart enough in his first major movie to go "leave it in."
Love the character development of CJ! Good redeem for himself at the end.
I lowkey agree with him.
The turning point to where CJ is my favorite character
Same
Love this scene! Phenomenal actors! Great drama too
When heaven is filled
Angels will save the earth 😇
that zombie in blue jean at 0:03 knows how to keep his stamina while running to catch a truck
He didn't even look zombie 😂 why is so funny 🤣
@@1MCElias he just died probably got scratched when he was attacked and he escaped them and turned /:
@@Maximus1879- May be.
@@1MCElias these are the best and scariest zombies ever they look human u won't be able to tell who's a zombie and who's not I aways have dreams about these zombies in zack Snyder's dawn of the dead and its horrifying dude bc I always see the beginning of the outbreak and everywhere getting overrun by these things like one time I was in a helicopter and I just saw them swarming a jammed highway full of civilians you shoulda seen it man it was crazy there was blood and fires in the distance it felt so real it was absolute chaos
@@Maximus1879- Yeah bro thats crazy scary, a very adrenaline dream.
One of the first movies i remembered when my memory became stronger as a 3 yr old
He wasn’t exactly wrong, two of the survivors in the truck were infected. He wasn’t exactly right either though since Luda was infected
I said get that f***ing gun out of my face! lol
ooh you got a mouth on you
Somebody should show her how to use it
Is there a holding cell in there
@@scorpionbeastofficial yeah, back in the security room.
@@cggrizzlyb92hd35 that's real good man you're gonna get us all killed dumb@$$ £ucking traitor!!

"Somebody should show her how to use it" hahaha omg best line ever lol
iLoveRock&Metal
Holy shit, it is!
Vicus Utrecht Right!? Lol
I've never caught that ROFL
I'm focusing on the 'front scene' everytime in this part.
Vicus Utrecht Um... What's ROFL? Lol
0:02 they see meh rollin...wait, do you do dat???!!!
Funny how this shows up in my recommendations, I've had a desire to watch this and 28 days later every since we were quarantined
Doug Stamper was right all along.
Lmao CJ was the only one with a survival brain.
Rule #17 of the zombie apocalypse: Don't try to be a hero. CJ was right.
CJ was right never let the wrong ones in your place
Cj reminds me of Kenny from twd
Kenny lookalike from the twd game
Kenny , marcellus wallas and future from 8 mile how cool
I love how Michael protect Ana
That is a good truck driver
The is a good movie to love it
I'm working on a screenplay for my Screenwriting class and I'm also planning on becoming a Screenwriter and Filmmaker professionally. On the screenplay I'm working on, I picture Michael Kelly (CJ) as one of the characters in my work, and the aggression he brings to CJ is similar to what he could bring to this role I wrote. It's also similar to how he was in "Tooth & Nail."
Because they are driving a truck oh and firing guns to
Sarah Polley's features almost reminds me of Fran(Gaylen Ross) from the original film.
absolutely typical mind.. show up them self, say to people "i'm gonna be your hero" & then scream to their opponent "help help"..
That is a freaking grade scene !!!! I love this movie
Brilliant Idea. Let the group of people with about a hundred "Dead Heads" on their tail. Why not just open the front doors and invite everyone to the party? I'm all for altruism, but in a SHTF scenario it's one of those luxuries that goes first. Your first priority is the survival of yourself and your group whether that be family, close friends, or your neighbors. That means that everyone else is on their own. Sorry but if survivals your goal that's how it's got to be. The key to surviving any situation is finding and organizing a like minded group of individuals and establishing strong leadership early on whether it be a committee of people or one person. I personally don't have the necessary charisma to be a leader that people would listen to but would only follow a leader that proved themselves to be trustworthy, ready to make the tough decisions, and who puts the needs of the group ahead of their own. CJ may not have been the most eloquent spoken of individuals, but he had the ability to make tough decisions and take charge when leadership was needed. If those people had been smart they would've seen that.
He also pointed guns at everyone. That dude wasn't a leader. He was a scared angry idiot who I wouldn't trust in any major situation.
0:01 Zombie: I'm in my moms truck!
Mom: Get out of my truck! **Shoots**
Haha @ 1:03 Sarah Polley talked some way out S**T!!!! She was a gangsta girl for a minute!!!!
I love this movieee
The gun @ 0:18 is a Smith and Wesson Model 27 or 28 N-Frame .357magnum with magna grips. The revolver that the 3rd security pulls out near the end is a Smith and Wesson model 13, which is basically a beefed up version of the model 10 except that it can handle .357magnum rounds.
CJ was a real jerk because he was thinking about himself even willing to kill his own crew
CJ reminds me of Kenny from the walking dead game
he's from air bud lol
Cj was right in the end
0:50 it's Josh from the 1st 4 Air Bud movies
0:00 lol that zombie in the top right corner jogging or jumping
CJ was such an asshole at first but later in the movie he changed his ways
CJ had the best character development. He made a good point about how the people in the truck could’ve been a problem which they were at first since two of them were infected. I think after seeing the preacher talk about how the zombie apocalypse is punishment from God to humanity on tv made him rethink about everything.
The zombies runs like a normal people
When u realise Simon Is in the 🎥 😂😂
The only zombie movie with running zombies😂😂😂
Is that michael barry from the goosebumps tv show played will blake holy shit I will love him to pieces
The Zombies Are Jogging
CJ should have followed the damn train

Here's a update of the Dawn Of The Dead 1978 Mod Dawn Of The Dead Multiplayer Test
Kevin Zegers is from Air Bud
Kevin Zegers is from Gossip Girl
CJ is telling the truth
Way back when quarantine protocols were not so popular.
Can you link me to the article or video were you heard he wasn't on drugs? I haven't read the autopsy results. I heard that the officers who were at the scene pretty much confirmed he was on drugs.
CJ looks like Michael Og aka Simon in Walking dead
CJ: Shane
Kenneth: Rick
CJ reminds me of The Governor from TWD (comic version)
One of the security guys looks like Steve ogg
They are so flipping fast
all you had to do was follow the damn plot cj
Why is this movie so good?
micad phifer from 8 mile? he was eminems best friend with the long dreadlocks hahaha
What kinda beretta is that? I want one exactly like that one
Stop fighting below.
Their both good to me
C.J is a badass
How do zombies run that FAST
Humans turn on each other in critical situations and it’ll always finish off the last of survivors.
we watch this movie yesterday
It's 2013 now. I don't see any zombies.
The guard will get bit
new comment on old video . But honestly if the secruity guards didnt let anyone in they would of held out for years imo
