Although i wouldnt say he is a prodigy by any means, I will say he is good especially for a 12 year old kid... plus his favorite band being Alter Bridge gains him even more respect lol

I was there. I walked in to the festival and heard him playing. Someone told me that it was a kid who was like 12 and I was amazed. Great job kid.

It be nice to hear the kid play. And what was with the kid on the left? Either let him talk a little or not have him on

mozart struck a perfect note on the violin at age 3 thats a prodigy. jimi hendrix and srv were prodigies along with van halen and many others.

I don't get why people seem so offended that a kid is playing guitar. I'm excited to see young kids get into instruments and metal.

I’m so proud of him. I’ve known him since we were in kindergarten and he has been such a great friend, and Liam has also been a great friend through the years. This is so cool to see one of my best friends rock out and demolish the competition. Keep doing what you’re doing man. - Sam :))

It is not impression since he is only tremolo picking on one string. Maybe sweep picking and stuff like that would have been impressive. This is just pathetic

Do people honestly think they’re cool because they can talk trash about a 12 year old? He’s 12, I’m sure he’s still learning. No he does not have anything on Slipknot, because SLIPKNOT HAD BEEN A BAND LONGER THAN HES BEEN ALIVE.

I mean he has some talent that is obvious, but he didn't deserve to win the the first guy did, just because he is a kid he won which is bull, I'm young too but if there was someone better then me and I won I would kinda feel bad.

NotMissing Cringe Yeah I feel like it wasn't jugged correctly I feel like it should have been jugged by guitar players, because playing fast is not everything at least for me, I like more of a melody and something I can Tell heart was put into then, a bunch a notes played very fast not to mention he was tremolo picking. All I can really say is that he has talent but he shouldn't have won.

    • @hinjurock

      An Empty Cup
Rock, punk and metal has always been at least PG-13, if not R. If movies can have age limits, then why can't music? REAL rock isn't and shouldn't be kid-friendly. No one wants to see a bunch of screaming bratty 6 to 12 year-olds at rock and metal concerts - that's what G-rated pop artists like Spice Girls, One Direction and Justin Bieber are for. Rock (and especially metal) is supposed to be dark, edgy, intense and/or sexual - that's not appropriate for pre-teens, because it's beyond their maturity level.
