Someone commented “looks like a retirement home field trip” and “too bad they played for a retirement home”. If so, then then these talented young musicians are playing to the original audience, by performing covers of the great music that these “old retired people” listened to in their youth!! We might be old/retired, but “our” music is also many decades old, and still fabulous. TNT by AC/DC was released in 1976. The next song was written by Neil Young, who was born in 1945 = 69 yrs old in 2014. If you respect this music, and the “old” musicians, then please respect their equally “old” fans, who supported their work, back in the day. The last song, by Led Zeppelin, was released in 1971, nearly half a century ago....and it is still great. My total respect to these talented young men.
You nailed it bro!! These kids are great!! Us “old folk!” We’re so lucky to have grown up in the times when Led Zep, Black Sabbath, AC/DC just to name a few, were still in the recording studios!! I hope these kids are still jammin somewhere!! 🤘😎💨

They are...and they have values as strong as their talent. Over the past few years, WJM has taken their musical activism to crowds at the United Nations, AT&T Park, Stanford Maples Pavilion and Burning Man." “Social activism is about acting on what you believe in and being a part of something bigger than just yourself.”
These kids were fantastic. I've been a professional musician for ovwr most of my adult life and I can tell you with certainty that these kids have a commitment to what they are doing. The discipline and the time dedicated to hours upon hours of individual and group practice/rehearsals is alone enormous. Not to mention putting together a medley the order, the key changes/modulations/rhythms is an enormous undertaking. Even if some adults helped compose the medley, it took hours of dedication by each of the members to learn and master their parts and commit them to memory. All of this from 10-13 year olds ! It takes a different mindset to pull of something like this. These kids hopefully continued their music careers. Bravo !

The singer really has a lot of crowd appeal. I think these kids will go far. I'm watching this kid and I'm losing my mind. He's not like a kid, but he's a real person doing real stuff out there. He's got a very nice voice and he can play up a crowd. Sorry but he is amazing to me. They all are they seem to have such confidence and style about them.
Old rocker souls reincarnated IMHO. Awesome. I'll be looking into them to see how it's gone. Saw theres an Americas Got Talent w them from just a year ago...
@@awakeadventurer9198 sounds interesting I'd like to hear that
Damn, is all I can say. Parenting done right 👍🏻I freaking LOVE TNT so they had me from the get go 🤘🏻😎 these guys have serious potential. I hope they stick with it.
Perhaps they need to head over to AGT
Pulling off a medley on time in tempo is hard enough when your in your 30s, these kids are awesome!!!
The lead singer/bass player has a great voice and a lot of showmanship! charisma
You go, guys!!!!!
Dropping a medley! What!!! Awesome! These kids, musicians, are unbelievable! Torch bearers. Loved it. Rock and roll is forever. Aloha my fellow rockers!!
yes! you nailed it. On a side note, I love it when newer artists perform with older artists. In the 90's, Neil Young performed Rockin' in the Free World with Pearl Jam on the MTV music awards. Still Rockin!
TRUE DAT! Proud member of the class of 1976! I was lucky enough to see Aerosmith,Black Sabbath and Deep Purple (along with others)back in the day!
@@deliveryguyrx Class of 1977! Lived in the boonies, but saw Eagles, Jackson Browne, ZZTop, Kansas, Steve Miller and others...not much access to the heavy-hitters.Had a great FM radio station and a lot of record albums !
@@michaelplemmons1906 I love this too, when they are "passing the torch", back & forth, one musician to the next! Generation to generation, musicians have been inspired by the great work of the "older" people. The younger musicians listen & learn, and make their own great music. Watching two generations perform together is a joy!
Wow all this from a sixth grade band! Incredible talent!
I'm glad this just popped up even tho it happened seven years ago.
Great performance guys!!!
Well done. I love how you added your own twist to the songs as well as your selections. This shows true talent you guys can only get tighter as a group. and Hey,,,,, Most of all have fun, Don't ever be afraid to laugh at yourselves, Humility is the path to happiness.
Please, please, if you kids ever get in disagreements, please, don’t break up the band, you kids are incredible awesome, and you will become a great band keep it up!
as a 6th grader metal/rockhead, im stunned by the skill of these mate! Hat of from Ausie!
If I had my own record label I would sign these boys in a heartbeat.

There was a band on every corner in Indiana in the 1960s and 1970s kids need to get it back
Their parents must have been so proud! way to go boys! 🔥 you're all killing it!
I just stumbled on to this video a few minutes ago and was the same age as these young men when I started playing drums in a number of bands and now retired still play! Who would have ever thought ' Rock and Roll Will Never Die "! Job well done guys your on your way!
They really arranged a great medley of songs. The changes are nearly flawless. I tell bands i consult to try fitting a medley like this into their live shows and its tough!
very nice , its great seeing youngsters with a fondness to classic rock
I totally agree.
William Bledsoe Classic my arse IT WILL NEVER GET OLD
Young man is playing Bass and Lead singer....that is REALLY hard to do! Great job guys!
Future Geddy Lee.. he just needs a keyboard and he'll be all set
This was an excellent performance and sound recording.
Very controlled performance by each member.
Lead singer vocals were clear.
Look at these awesome kids! Having the times of their lives. Love their smiles! Go WJM!!
Whatever became of these dudes? This was 8 years ago, would love an update. Very impressed!

They now run a meth lab in Alabama.
Oh my god this is so professional for a few 6th graders. SO MUCH TALENT and MUSICALITY!!
Great Performance by 3 Young Men that Deserve going on America's Got Talent. Beautiful Performance.
AH do i love that the lead singer plays bass, keep the bass alive man!! you guys rock
These kids are awesome! I've been playing bass and singing for 55 years and believe me I know talent when I see it. I hope they're still together and killing it.
They are...and they have values as strong as their talent. "Every dollar from WJM’s performances has gone to support children’s charities, including the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Second Harvest Food Bank, Camp Okizu, the Bridge School, Live in Peace, and St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Over the past few years, WJM has taken their musical activism to crowds at the United Nations, AT&T Park, Stanford Maples Pavilion and Burning Man."
“Social activism is about acting on what you believe in and being a part of something bigger than just yourself.”
this song was the first song I learned when I was a drummer, it's nice to see that he adds more to the song than there actually is.
Loving this lads! Drummer kept them on and the singer was absolutely on point. Guitars were amazing too. They must feel so proud of themselves
It takes a ton of confidence and poise to walk out cold in front of a large crowd and kill it like that! Well done 👍🏻👍🏻
Bravo !
you stink as a musician
I like the choices in music that they sing and the fact that they pronounce the words with clarity.
Great stage presences-wow-they're going places!.
I'm 54 and a former Band Mom and my son is now 36 and has his own band and I'm so glad to see these kids playing just like my son and his friends did when they were youngsters... He's gone to college and studied Music and Audio and Video Production now, it's awesome ✌️
We gonna ignore that drummer?

Keep at it guys!!! You all have some natural talent. Amazing voice for a young man that age.
The timing and fate to bring these three boys together. It’s true great music artist are born. Some learn they have talent. These boys were born with it.
Once they hit puberty they'll sound harder. Keep kickin ass little bros.
They just released and EP a few days ago. The singers voice has changed quite a bit. I think these guys have a bright future ahead of them. It's awesome seeing a band at such a young age producing original content.
I was going to say the same thing. They're voices are their weakest part and it's not their fault. They just sound like kids. Puberty needed.
Rock out

As a 59 year old who grew up on this music and in this area, so glad to see Rick is still alive and well. These kids are amazing!!!! I hope they stayed with music.
I LOVE THIS!!! Did anyone tell the kid on bass with the incredibly in tune voice, how hard it is to play bass and sing? They're fantastic!!! Ohhhhhh yeah, background vocals!!!! LOVE IT!!!
What an ultimate rock out by these young men, bright futures ahead. Keep on it fellas!
That was amazing! If i would have sang through that around that age my voice would have been cracking like crazy!!
These kids need a recording contract now! They give me such hope for our future!

@@kaisskits2700 They would be a little older than I am now so most likely going on 21-22
Wow it's amazing and heartwarming to see how happy they are at seeing their practice turn into talent and musical genius. For a live show it sounded amazing , and the transitions from song to song where blended so amazingly smooth. Made me smile .
