wow these small little things actually made my games run a lot smoother and better. even though considering it was so little of the hard disk that was taken up, so little. i would recommend. for example (minecraft from 170fps to 250)

i have a laptop that has only about 275 gigs on it and there was 245 taken up i have always been using settings to clear space and always wondered why it didn't work, and all the other videos i watched were all to confusing for my smooth brain, yours just broke it down so well! i cant believe i freed up over 30 gigs in almost 20 minutes thanks again this really helped! 👍
Okay this part is a little dumb, there is absolutely no need to delete Prefetch files, those files are meant for your system to know what programs you use daily and it already loads them in the background so it's quicker booting said application. Deleting them makes your system Prefetch and load them again which slows down your PC.
You are right but once you keep using your pc for a while all those files may slow down your programs. So if you delete them the loading times will be slower but after some time it will be faster than ever, you are basically reloading the prefetch files and restarting it for better performance, you just need to be patient until those files are restored and your reload times will be fast, and then you can delete them in 1-3 months and you can continue the process and it even improves your storage so why not :D
hi panjno. i did everything which was said in this video as i always do and usually the results are good but doing this made my some games have big stutter or like the fps lags specially for elden ring. Not sure what went wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
This may be due to elden ring having a LOT of shaders in the shader cache, when they've been cleared it will require them to be loaded into the shader cache again - so this will stop over time, this isnt usually an issue though, just elden ring is super texture cache dependant

System caches are there to increase the performance. Windows is expected to keep them in optimum shape. Requirement of user intervention in system tasks defeats the purpose of using an OS.
Honest opinion pls! Is it worth upgrading to win11? I m afraid a bit saw a lot content… serious content which is tested in hours.. for example in gaming and benching RAMs show a drop in performance.. I wanna stay win10 till july or august since first tests and updates released
I was in your situation with my low budget rig, i took the risk and upraded. Best decision ever! My fps on my gtx 970ti rose by 15-20% man. Win11 is a good os for gaming and overall usage. In the end it is your decision. Gaming performance will rise with time, but already damn its good!
listen i upgraded to windows 11 and i got much less ram usage than on windows 10 i think by 1-2 gigs, and fps are the same if not better by some percentage, for me it looks better than w10 and im happy the way it works and looks and ofc performs in games

I’ve used your vid 6 or more times to speed up my Pc with great results, for some reason when cleaning my nvidia graphics using %localappdata% & I open nvidia or nvidia corporation I have no DX folder I have GL but no DX previously I cleaned disc space & the DX cache box was ticked as it has always been in previous clean ups, is there a way I can get that DX folder back & will it matter if i don’t
