great videos for clear the cache on both Windows 10 and 11. I saved both videos and I also hit the like button to support the content. And, to further help your channel with the algorithm,I also subscribed to the channel! Have a great day, and keep sharing these helpful tips for PC.
hi, ok im an old guy trying to learn, newbie, as I'm sure there's more like me, I really enjoy ur channel n teachings, I request if I may be so bold, mayhap tis a favor for all us newbie old folk, could u please consider slowing ur speech as well as ur going thru instructional vids, just humbly asking, has a good one
As a fellow old guy…I understand where you’re coming from. Problem is.. Brian is under pressured to keep the videos short enough to keep people’s attention.. same goes for speaking slowly…if he did that…the young pups would lose interest. I make extensive use of the pause button while I follow along. I also back up and replay often. Have a good one…
I find slowing down the playback of the video sometimes helps. If you click on the gear symbol on the bottom right of the screen it should display a list - the third option is “playback” select and change the playback speed to 0.75. Hope it helps!
Just another shout out to your channel. You supply content most everyday!! It may not always be what I'm looking for, but I do check in and give my support. Thanks for your time and knowledge.
This is probably useful to do semi-annually. I can't see how removing files can speed up anything, not when you're on an SSD system. Prefetch clearing *might* speed things up a nanosecond. Clearing your web browser cache will definitely speed things up on the browser.
One thing I noticed you doing that I that there is an easier way is when you were dragging to select all files in a directory. All you have to do is press control+a to select all files in the currently selected directory.
Excellent helpful video! The DXcache folder for me has now been moved to \AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion folder, no longer located in same folder as GLcache
Thank you for this video. Everything was going fine, however, until I got to the part about NVIDIA. There is no NVIDIA on my computer. Any suggestions? Thanx again.
I discovered that my pc still has some junk files after using Avast junk cleaner. I already cleaned the temp, %temp%, and prefetch. I also used the disk clean-up and even cleaned my winsxs using cmd.
Hello, thanks for your help .when I go onto %temp% their is not a %temp% folder showing like on your demo. How do I get the folder showing. thanks from Terry

quick tip cntrl+ a selects all files in the folder
Very informative sir ❤
Another trick you can do instead of highlighting files, is CTRL + A, it highlights everything in the category.
and you can do SHIFT DELETE without whatever you're deleting going into RECYCLEING BIN :)

If i'm using AMD instead of Nvidia, does that mean i can delete DxCache and GlCache in those folders?

like I said, use what ever way you want to do it, just show different ways to select files and delete them
@@Britec09 Just sayin, then CTRL+D to delete all selected.

this might be a dumb question but why cant i open my Temp and Prefetch files?
I don't seem to have dx chache in my nvidia. Would this be the reason I always crash out of game in warzone 2?
