Turbo Yoda and Woody - brilliant combination. 10yr MCM fan here - introduced to Alan on the Supergramps and Stagea builds. So pleased that you've got your own channel now. Best thing on the internet...
I just love you dimple dies. The first set I had were made out of Oak, wood that was flame treated. Turned both die halves in the lathe, then flame burned the shapes, light sanding then some oil to preserve the wood and allow some slipping when forming the sheet metal. Keep showing us the right way to modify our cars the right way.
At least Whine'n Lion doesn't give me a mental picture each time of Ted Bullpitt dressed as the Lion from Wizard of Oz chained up in a basement of an S&M club like it's previous name does... Cheers for that, AND for sharing the awesome job you've done for the ol' girl! ;)
The Iron Lion has been poked with a Harrop Angry stick and it sounds like its pissed off and ready to fight!! Great work guys, looks great sounds great, yeah i'm in love!!
All the holden boys will love the new shirt. Could you do a Fairlane or barra or ford diffs or ford brakes shirt, you know all the good stuff😀. For the ford boys and girls.. please..
I turn up to work everyday, look up the road to Noosa Radiators and wonder when ill get my next fix of Skid Factory. Today is the day! Seems like withdrawals slowly subsiding. Love your work guys!

teflon thread tape is ideal for finger cuts ... put er on tight for the initial bleed then back it off when the throbbin starts ...... once ya stop leakin give it a wash and reapply .. and non stick !!
My guess is that its a reference to the skid culture in Australia, where many of the best competitors run massive chargers at relatively low boost. Just my guess though.
@@thekodanator I wouldn't say relatively, 4-5 PSI of boost is objectively low boost considering the harrop charger in this car is alot less obnoxious looking and makes much higher boost
Yeah, I was just thinking about that little rant he had about not pulling skids in client's cars a few episodes ago. I'm sure we're all happy he's moved on.
Thanks for the tip on putting the indent in the bracket fold. I was asking a mate just the other day how to do it and he didn't know. Quite timely, thanks.
You guys are bloody top level info/entertainment now. Chilled and confident with good banter. And you've got top mates in the business and supporting you
I dont know if the skid factory blokes will see this but i had to pause this and go get maccas to finish it off and i had the f***ing wicked time 11/10 would reccomend
I forget how great iron lions sound sometimes, pretty cool the last 2 Summernats horsepower comps have been won by Aussie designed engines. Awesome work.
I think maybe this was my very favorite SF to date....cant hardley wait to see what you guys have planned for the rest of 2020 !! Thanks for all your content...
AWESOME...... I want the Whining Lion! I watched the build from start to finish as I've always been a Lion Wagon lover. You guys are on point with these build videos. No BS, no fluff, no big sell. I've subscribed and hit the Bell! Cheers!
Good power for that boost. I agree with Al that no more boost is needed, especially since it was put together with standard pistons and the rod bolts weren’t upgraded.
I just missed my grand mother's funeral for this episode and I don't even feel bad! Great content guys keep up the excellent work! I'm off to the SF store to get me a shirt and stubby cooler 👍
Love it boys, now you get the reason why I am into SC’s. I run an R53 and the Harrop is a good upgrade, one on my list to do once the engine rebuild is complete! Cannot beat that whine and the instant and constant rush of power!
Hell ya...boost it!What an awesome video! I can't wait 2 see the next Cummins 6bt video,I've been looking for it EVERYDAY after work,I love Skid Factory!
Thanks fellas, such a great episode, and a true eye-opener to transform a 304 into a beast. Loved that you used components from iconic Australian companies. The Kingswood might need some heavier sway bars to cope with the chaos you’ve unleashed!
Wow, Al at the beginning of this video looks like a new man. Like he just had amazing sex then won the lottery. I love seeing that on a person! Blasting light out yo sockets.
Yeah, got one on my Evora S as well. Works great, but misses the intercooler 😔 So good to see the guys doing some blower action and really enjoying it! 👌
If you can I would put fans on that intercooler. it will cool down better at extended stops. Also it will remove more heat more efficiently in high heat areas.
That intro though😂👌🏼👍🏼 “Catch is, I didn’t name myself Turbo Yoda”
Yeah, cracked me up, especially when he swept away the turbo boxes.
Love the way Higher-than-atmospheric-pressure Yoda tries to look nonchalant while the car's on the dyno.
Al's delivery on camera has come a long way, total professional. Great job guys!
Awesome vid guys. To all international watchers. A servo is a service station.
You need a joke shirt too, "The Skid Factory", and it's a roll of toilet paper hanging on a dispenser, with only the last sheet and a ripped end.
EFormance Engineering , or Skid factory underwear.
Shut up and take my money!!!
Ron Harrop is a living legend. I'm sure he's forgotten more more than most of us could ever hope to know. 🙏

Man, that thing sounds SO good, both the whine and the roar.

That state Al couldn't think of is OREGON! When I first started watching MCM with Turbo Yoda making appearances, that's where I lived.
"Blowing Yoda" had me in stitches. Nice build there lads, I am a Ford man but appreciate the engineering and that whine of the 5.0. 🤙🤙👌👌
This car has now officially solidified its place as my favorite skid factory build🍻
Thumbs up for Wendy taking the time to get her legs shaved.
Great vid as usual. I can't believe there's 13 downvotes, probably searching for the 'how to knit your own vagina beanie' and ended up here by mistake
It's just youtube's automatic downvoting algorithm.. None of the stats are legit..
Those help keep the sand out of the Vajay VAjay crevasse!!!!!
Woody sitting in the back "are we there yet Hoff?"
Atlas Being Haha, epic!

Al "touch wood"
*woody slaps his own leg in the background*
PeteM are you sure it was his “leg” hahaha
He missed an opportunity to touch the Kings Wood :-)
His third leg.

Love the opening bait n switch! TUUUUURRRRRBBBOOOOO YYYYOOOOOODDDDAAAAA!!
Saw the Kinger on Hastings street Noosa on a recent trip to the area, such a sweet rig!
Thanks fr that watched all eps. Go the Whining Iron Lion. I'll be checking out more of yr stuff.
The Iron Lion has been poked with a Harrop Angry stick and it sounds like its pissed off and ready to fight!! Great work guys, looks great sounds great, yeah i'm in love!!
Good to see the tradition of a V8 powered wagon doing a skid in Alan's shed is still going strong.
Excellent choice! I need that sound in my life!
I'm glad Al has come over to the blower side 👌 love that instantaneous torque
Man, That car just puts a smile on my face, and now supercharged, wow. Really would love a car like that. Beautiful.
You two are bloody brilliant al your amazing with so much stuff, woody your a legend do a shed walk around

That was a suprise seeing a supercharger nice build love that you are doing something diffrent.
Ahh, the old lecky tape bandage, works really well with a Kleenex tissue for large wounds.
Better yet, put a layer of glad wrap over it if its a large area... otherwise you'll be picking scabbed Kleenex out of you for ages.

I thought his thumb was in mourning....
Two words, super glue.
50min episode my dream has come true keep it up blokes
Very cool and so glad you showed the dyno run in the same episode!
30:38 "If that supercharger was polished and terribly inefficient we would be ready for the burn-out pad". Is that a Cleetus reference?
Probably more of a roadkill reference
It was a reference to old gm 2 stroke blowers being basically useless. It was in the tech tip vid.
@@BlackJewFish Roadkill polishing a supercharger? Er, no

WOW... Never heard a Kinga like that before... 😃😃😃🤯🤯🤯
Love the longer content! And the special tip for brackets was awesome! Thanks Guys!
Love what you do.... Dont ever stop guys... Quality viewing
Great build guys. Blower in the valley the V8 makes so much sense. Great torque and linear power - and that sound is brilliant!
Start shouting on the comments section! Turbo Yoda is now Sqwooshy Yoda.
I think that
Higher than atmospheric pressure Yoda
would look better on a T-shirt and sounds better
1 bar Yoda lol
Super-Yoda
Heee's the hyperbaric yoooodaaaaaaa
@@Darwinpasta Now *that's* obscure -- love it!
"Yurbo Toda" is now "squwooshy toda" Awesome work. Loving the new graphics, and I now really need a squwooshy in my automotive life.
New graphics look good guys! Also that torque is killer. All down low and tapering off a bit. But when your cruising it's the low end torque you want.
Nice lineal torque feed with a supercharger. And love the fact that it continues to look original.
When I listen to the engine start. I thougt that there was someone screaming each time u reved it.. sounds so good.!
This whole build is awesome! So glad you guys finally did a supercharged Aussie 8 with Aussie gear behind it, love your work lads keep it up :)
30:37 that burn :D love it
Thanks for the tip on putting the indent in the bracket fold. I was asking a mate just the other day how to do it and he didn't know. Quite timely, thanks.
I had a shiny 3 lobe roots blower that worked great as a muck spreader on the farm.
Keep the holdens coming.
This is by far the greatest cold open you've ever had for your show. Turbo yoda you've outdone yourself this time!
The Hoff certainly knows his stuff.
30:30, scared the shit out of me -- sounded like some animal yelping lol.
That wagon is super cool.
You guys are bloody top level info/entertainment now. Chilled and confident with good banter. And you've got top mates in the business and supporting you
I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, but this is one of the coolest cars you guys have done. Congrats!
*Al is a mechanical genius*
Nothing better than waking up to a skid factory vid. Good effort lads.
Bloody cool cruiser. I love a good bit of supercharge whine. I always wanted another one.
Great vid. Like the start to finish format.
Love it - now bolt one on a Cleveland lads
That's correct the truth is the air pockets do find the highest point to flow to
I dont know if the skid factory blokes will see this but i had to pause this and go get maccas to finish it off and i had the f***ing wicked time 11/10 would reccomend

That manual tb let you do that sweet under the hood shot don't forget!!!!
Thanks for the tip on strengthening a 90* bend. I'll def use that in future builds. Enjoying the content as always.
Why do I need "HARROP TV CONETENT" when you guys make the best conetent :)
Despite having a lot of choice, some people are just never conetented.
Yes, Big Horses coming
Good power for that boost. I agree with Al that no more boost is needed, especially since it was put together with standard pistons and the rod bolts weren’t upgraded.
Lol!!! I love your comments on the roots blower. At least they look cool.

AL that throttle bracket 🔥💯 quality and thanks for the trick.
SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD!
Icing on the bloody cake boys. Well done, very neat, and great result for the little Iron Lion, that car is definitely a keeper now.
Im a ford man but that winging cat got a little bit of movment in my pants . Cheers guys 👌

Bloody awesome episode
Turbo Yoda + Old Holdens = 😍😍😍
Awesome, great episode. ... CROWN!
That whole kit is some serious quality! Not easy to find superchargers with that much serious work out into them. Love it boys!
That new supercharger sound gives the iron lion an unusual "roar".. Cheers!
One of my favorite builds hands down 😍
Have been playing with the harrop blower on the 2gr convesion in a lotus exige recently. Top quality gear
Yeah, got one on my Evora S as well. Works great, but misses the intercooler 😔
So good to see the guys doing some blower action and really enjoying it! 👌
Harrop is hands down one of the best at what they do. Attention to detail, good business thinking, good customer support.
Ron Harrop was in hospital - next bed to my old man - many years ago. Had some great yarns with him.
If you can I would put fans on that intercooler. it will cool down better at extended stops. Also it will remove more heat more efficiently in high heat areas.
You guys are the best, so laid back....
Love it. Loving the long episode too
The old H series chassis is gonna love all that new torque..... 🤣.
Sick build guys. Makes me miss my old WB pano
Love the Whining Lion boys! Great build, great episode.. but I would love to see that Crown of Al's on the Skid Factory!!
Get on it!.... please.
