@@luisnathanielmadraga7988He posted some French and Japanese Thomas dubs early in his RUclips carrier and they all got strikes and his channel deleted!
No matter how close the model series came to it's end, they were still giving us all new locations and characters. Granted, not many of them would stick around or be expanded upon, but it shows they did care about keeping the Island of Sodor feeling fresh.
See, I've been thinking about this since you reposted the original map video. Is it possible Farmer McColl's farm WAS on Toby's line initially, but he relocated after the blizzard in Toby Had A Little Lamb? Serious building/landscape damage and such. A relocation would explain why he's suddenly on Thomas's line in future episodes...
An actual headcanon I have is given all the official McColl Farms merch is that it's a family business and thus has multiple locations. Having a dairy farm in one area and a crop farm in another for example also makes sense in regards to soil quality.
I love how you explained the extra locations that was used between Season 8 to Season 12 before the moving to CGI. From watching the video, I noticed that their is some new details that was added during the HIT era that includes new stations and towns so I am going to see what railway lines are added in the HIT era and what stations they go to. 1) At Arthur's Coastal Run both the Harwick and Church stations were swapped but their are two stations on the map. They are Bluff's Cove and the Seaside Village. 2) Misty Valley station is located near Callan Castle station. 3) The 3 Bridges is located between Arlesburgh and Callan station. 4) The Coastal run from Tidmouth Station to Knapford Station moved to Knapford to Knapford Harbour to avoid the confusion of the mysterious beach station from the previous seasons. 5) The Sports Field Hault is located between Dryaw and Toryreck. 6) Crowe's Farm Crossing is located on the Ffquarhar Branch Line between Dryaw and Toryreck. 7) Elsbridge Junction is a new addition added in the new series and it is located next to Elsbridge Station. 8) Mccoll's Farm was moved from Toby's Branch Line onto Thomas Branch Line and it is between Elsbridge and Maithwaite. 9) The abandoned mine is located near Maithwaite. 10) Toby's Branch Line had an extended line that didn't stop at Arlesdale End but it went to Ulfstead Castle. 11) The Rickety Old Bridge located near Ulfstead. 12) The Miner's Hault and the Coal Mine is located near Ulfstead. 13) Henry's Forest use to be located at Balladrine but now it is located near Crosby and Wellsworth. 14) The Flour Mill is on Edward's Branch Line and it is between Crock's Scrapyard and Lower Suddery. 15) The Sodor Airport is located between Kellsthrope Road and Crovan's Gate. 16) The Cement Works is located at Killdane. 17) The Sodor Ironworks was abandoned at Peel Godred and it moved to Killdane. 18) The Pack's Yard is located between Cronk Abbey and Cronk. 19) Neville's Bridge is located between Cronk and Killdane. 20) The Old Quarry Bridge is located between Cronk Abbey and Abbey. 21) The Skarloey Railway expanded it's services and connected to the Peel Godred Branch Line. In the process their are a few new stations that were built and they were Rumblin Bridge, Elephant Park and Mountain Village. 22) Stephney's Branch Line calls at Vicarstown, Ballahoo, Bluebell Valley and Norramby. 23) The Skarloey Railway also extended it's railway line from Crovan's Gate to Vicarstown. 24) The Dual Gauge Tunnel is located between Crovan's Gate and Vicarstown. 25) The Wharf is located at Balladwail. 26) Great Waterton and the Transfer Yards is located near Crovan's Gate. 27) The Trestle Bridge and the Trust Rusty Bridge are located on the Skarloey Line. That is quite a lot of changes and it is sad that some of the scenery wasn't used in the CGI series.
Ok so I have a few things to mention about the map. 1. So I don’t think that you necessarily have to retcon the top line of the 3 bridges set being a road only bridge because one of the benefits of running a tramway is that it can run along the road which could explain why you can see both cars and engines on the bridge. However if you changed it it would really have to connect to ducks line from the west instead of the east like how the peel godred line crosses over the main to connect to cronk 2. In down the mine I feel like it would make more sense to have the lead mine around either dryaw or toryreck because there’s no way that an lner a1 could get all the way past ffarquhar with the tight curves and axle loading and loading gauge restrictions. At least this way it would still be relatively close to all the other mines on Thomas’ line Honestly those are like my only complaints about this. Your interpretations of this is absolutely amazing and I’m in awe of your dedication as a Thomas creator. Thank you for making this Tug!

I'm so glad that this one was able to be re-uploaded it's one of my favorite videos. 9:25 Your off,Maron has a bay platform because it is actually the Junction for a Branchline to the airport and the after the airport it does curves and as straight pieces of track before passing a siding and the curve right which leads to a straight track that leads to Kellsthorpe Road.

Hey Unlucky Tug, the odds of you reading this are slim but I think Great Waterton is in the wrong place. Duncan informs Thomas that the Rolling River Bridge is ahead. Which makes two inconsistencies. How could Duncan have known about the bridge if it was so far away. My theory about it is that it’s a spur off the Wharf’s tracks. That way it makes sense that Duncan knew about Rolling River Bridge (having probably seen it in the distance on the way to the Wharf) and how Duncan was able to trick Thomas so easily. Basically the Rolling River Bridge was part of the original tracks to the Wharf, being bypassed when the NWR took over the tracks and having a junction to the Wharf sooner than the junction dividing Great Waterton and the bridge. (Sorry for the long comment, but this is my idea for that branch)
It makes sense that Henry's forest is in-between Wellsworth and the viaduct, because the lines going through it curve towards the viaduct. In Thomas and Gordon, I noticed in the final shot where Thomas is crossing the viaduct going back to Knapford there are a lot of trees and the line curves in the same direction the forest tracks do it's just, they filmed the shots in a random order and doesn't doesn't follow the fact that wellsworth is before the viaduct in the direction Gordon was pulling Thomas and the express.
All the random factories from the latter seasons i think would make most sense to be located around the east of sodor near knapford, tidmouth or on the brendam branch, my thought process being they'd need to be located near harbours to import material and export goods

Henry’s Tunnel is right before Vicarstown Station rather than after Knapford station. 5. Dryaw is placed after Elsbridge instead of before, which means that the bridge itself is placed on an alternate route from Elsbridge
Might do this again. Routes: No Joke for James James leaves Brendam and goes through Edward’s branch line offscreen. He passes through Henry’s forest, goes through Wellsworth, Crosby, Elsbridge, and Tidmouth offscreen and arrives at Knapford. Thomas and Gordon Thomas and Gordon leave Knapford and goes through Tidmouth offscreen. Through Henry’s tunnel, into Elsbridge offscreen, go over the viaduct and stop at Wellsworth. Stepney Gets Lost Stepney leaves Ffarquhar Quarry, goes through Thomas’s line offscreen and turns to the mainline. Goes through Knapford to Cronk offscreen, heads up the Peel Godred branch line offscreen and ends up at the Ironworks. Edward, Gordon and Henry Gordon leaves Knapford, goes through Tidmouth offscreen and breaks down at the tunnel. Later Henry and Edward take the train, goes through Crosby and Elsbridge offscreen and arrive at Wellsworth.
Let’s go back on the three bridges part instead being a road bridge it can be a road/rails call G and other engines can go on it as well. Now I still wonder where it goes.
While the events of Magic Railroad _definitely_ shouldn't be canon, I do like to believe that the locations on Sodor do still exist. I mean, c'mon the viaduct Diesel 10 careens off of at the end of the movie is simply iconic.
If you watch Passengers and Polish than the Picnic area, Castle Causeway, the mountain line and the viaduct come before Rheneas Station. Rheneas and the Roller Coaster would later follow the same thing.
I wonder how this will change considering David Mitton has his own Map can it be considered the "offical" map for the TV series? This map as Tug mention is his "headcanon" though some fans including me also incorporate it.
This map is kinda like the Blue train with friends game on roblox. The old map would be the middle version of the game, and the updated one is kinda like the new version of the game.
Locations Where to place the unimportant and one-off locations: The Power Station The Power Station might possibly be placed in Peel Godred. There is a power station in the railway series, so there could be one too in the model series. The Skull and Crossbones It was hard to place this. I first thought it would be somewhere on the cement works line, but I think it goes on Stepney’s Branch Line. The Sodor Maritime Museum is also here. The Boulder Quarry Sheds The sheds Boulder destroyed might be on the Peel Godred Line on the old Mid Sodor tracks, with its own standard and narrow gauge connections. My head cannon here is that when Boulder ran to the Skarloey Railway, someone somehow managed to push him out of the way. This however, sent Boulder to the sheds and transfer yards. The Farm in Gordon Takes a Tumble This is located after the Vicarage Orchard. In Gordon Takes a Tumble, Gordon goes on an old line by accident and crashes into a field. Edward’s Branch line should be the best location. The Hit Era Intro Tunnel and Bridges I’d place this somewhere after Elsbridge, because Unlucky Tug believes that Thomas goes through a series of points before continuing on his Branch Line. So why not at this location, the canal and bridges are also here. The Campsite Ok, this was complicated to place. The Campsite in the episode; Mighty Mac is either near the picnic halt or on the restored Mid Sodor tracks and I think it goes on the restored Mid Sodor tracks. The Skarloey Connection to Culdee Fell This could be located on the new branch line. My head cannon for this is that after Elephant Park and Rumblin Bridge opened for service, construction to Culdee Fell continued offscreen. It was completed by season 10.

Locations
Where to place the unimportant and one-off locations:
The Power Station
The Power Station might possibly be placed in Peel Godred. There is a power station in the railway series, so there could be one too in the model series.
The Skull and Crossbones
It was hard to place this. I first thought it would be somewhere on the cement works line, but I think it goes on Stepney’s Branch Line. The Sodor Maritime Museum is also here.
The Boulder Quarry Sheds
The sheds Boulder destroyed might be on the Peel Godred Line on the old Mid Sodor tracks, with its own standard and narrow gauge connections. My head cannon here is that when Boulder ran to the Skarloey Railway, someone somehow managed to push him out of the way. This however, sent Boulder to the sheds and transfer yards.
The Farm in Gordon Takes a Tumble
This is located after the Vicarage Orchard. In Gordon Takes a Tumble, Gordon goes on an old line by accident and crashes into a field. Edward’s Branch line should be the best location.
The Hit Era Intro Tunnel and Bridges
I’d place this somewhere after Elsbridge, because Unlucky Tug believes that Thomas goes through a series of points before continuing on his Branch Line. So why not at this location, the canal and bridges are also here.
The Campsite
Ok, this was complicated to place. The Campsite in the episode; Mighty Mac is either near the picnic halt or on the restored Mid Sodor tracks and I think it goes on the restored Mid Sodor tracks.
The Skarloey Connection to Culdee Fell
This could be located on the new branch line. My head cannon for this is that after Elephant Park and Rumblin Bridge opened for service, construction to Culdee Fell continued offscreen. It was completed by season 10.
Since Britt says TATMR is canon, maybe we can put the magic buffers near the Kirk Ronan branch since that’s where the Sam Wilkinson map places them.

Hey make a culdee fell railway map video... maybe
You can add Austin Texas airport in Thomas and friends
Wait, so Duke's mid sodor line doesn't go to Arlesbrough?
PLEASE REUPLOAD THE SEASONS Revisted
Technically you don't need the transfer yard that folder destroyed it's not there no more Sir Topham Hatt set himself we should have left this part of the island alone so stand reason that's not there no more
On my sodor map, I have The Season 5 Transfer yard on Thomas' Branch
its wired knowing he alrwady did it but not being able to see it
You gonna post the David Mitton map version of Sodor?
He will later on, although it might be a few weeks until the video is uploaded.
