    The best reviewer. Speaks the truth, no bullshit, no bias... You do not not acknowledge and give credit because you stubbornly still see Volvo as a niche or the odd one out. Volvo is on the rise and demands respect. It's a premium car now, the brand has been around for about 100 years. Volvo's are great cars and you understand that. You don't judge it for what it's not or not trying to be. Keep it up 👍
    Btw the smaller size compare to the S90 makes the shape and line look way better. For example the rear looks great while on S90's looks odd.

  • @RobertoSalvatti
    @RobertoSalvatti 6 лет назад +20

    You forgot to mention one of the most important qualities, '' beauty '', the S60 is an exquisite design, something that is hard to find in cars today, hope that cars like this Volvo will change the mentality of people who are thinking of buying a stupid SUV or a Minivan.

      Not to mention it looks beautiful on the eye, and you don’t see so many on the streets...like bmws and benz..which often its not even half as reliable as any volvo. I drove over 7 hours on a recent trip...and still felt fresh and joyfull to drive.

Reached out to Volvo USA and dealer it was purchased at, been in and out of the shop too many times to remember. Volvo USA puts it on the dealer....dealer puts it on Volvo....horrible experience. Asked them to buy the piece of crap back and denied my request. I make everyone who is shopping a Volvo, aware of my experience. I am sure I have cost them at least 3 sales at this point. Volvo used to be a practical and utilitarian high end car. It seems like there’s now too much focus techno-gadgetry that unnecessarily elevates the price of the car. After 20 years in a base model S60 with textile interior, I’m disappointed at my options for my next car. I have a 15.2 cu. ft. trunk. The 2019 S60’s I have seen don’t have a donut spare or a trunk well large enough to accommodate one. Is the stupid tire repair kit supposed to be a luxury or a reason to buy a Subaru?

    I recently got 2019 certified s60 t6 polestar with 25k miles and it shows around 17mpg. Driving in daily mode. 50/50 highway and city.
    Also I feel like the first second of acceleration has a delay or something. Acceleration doesn’t work right away. Is this normal thing for Volvo?

    It's gorgeous! But, I can't get around the fact it's only a 4-cylinder, no matter how much horsepower it cranks out.
    I require great acoustics to go with that hp!!

      We just traded in our 2011 335xi M-Sport with BMW performance engine tune for a 2019 S60 R-Design with Polestar tune. The BMW was a very special car to us. There are things my wife and I both like better about each one, for sure. Power seems about equal between the two. The S60’s engine is no joke; especially with the Polestar tuning, but it definitely doesn’t have the growl of her BMW. The Volvo is more responsive off the start than our BMW was. It is a smoother car to drive, and definitely more comfortable. I think the BMW would have felt more at home driven at the ragged edge around a track; it had a lot of soul, but the Volvo seems to be equal or better for the other 85% of situations.

    Fake leather seats for that price. No thanks I will keep my S80 2010 Volvo with a T6 6 cylinder turbo engine. It runs like the day I bought it. It also has real leather. I will keep my S80 until it dies. To bad they don't make these Volvo cars like they used to. I just test drove the S60 yesterday and it felt totally cheap and light. My S80 is super heavy which I love and you feel totally safe in it. Too bad these cars are now made in China. Mine however, was made in Sweden. Also, my husband is also 5 feet 11 inches tall and he couldn't fit in the back seat without turning his feet to to side because obviously someone is in the drivers seat with the seat back which would be less room for anyone sitting in the back.

      The S60 is made in Charleston, South Carolina, not in China. The biggest factory is still in Sweden where most models are made. They mainly make the S90 in China and the rest in Sweden and Belgium.
