  • The Nieuport IV was designed as a sport and racing aircraft, that went on to perform reconnaissance roles during the Italo-Turkish War, the First Balkan War, and World War 1 until 1915. It is notable, among other things, for being the World's second warplane, and for being the first to perform a loop. This is its story.

    Great history ! I have; since a small boy. been interested in preWW I aeromachines !
    That was a delightful piece of history; I had no clue - where the name “Nieuport” originated ! Bravo !!!
