@paullubliner A "skin" is essentially the paintjob for the aircraft. There are historical (backed up by references) and fictional skins of aircraft created by the community for use in the simulator. If you own the game you can check out these skins for yourself. I hope that explains what I meant by the term "skin".

@paullubliner There are a lot of different skins available to use for the N11, I just picked one at random.
Nice. I keep crashing on takeoff...probably allowing aircraft to go too fast on the ground and it swings wildly on lift off. It's a twitchy bird.
