I have the C3 and the L50. My L50 is not that bright and was a disappointment. I threw it in my box of regrets and have not seen it in a long time. But that one light does not reflect the entire Wuben line up. The C3 is a solid EDC light. My long time favorite the Wuben T70 with extended tube running 2 x 26650 resembles a thin Mag light with the extension tube. My living room table lamp went out 3 days ago and I have been using the T70 as a lamp, and its still going strong, have not recharged it yet. I am too lazy to run down and pick up another lamp or replace the faulty switch. And of course the new arrivals the Wuben X2 and X1. That X1 is a killer with a long usable sustainable run time.
Hey man, the L50 would be way better with a momentary tactical switch. It seems like Wuben use the P9 often in their cheaper flashlights - they don't run too hot and are efficient but nothing special in my opinion and would rather a nice NM1 or PM1 in these lights. Could attempt a mod but often if the reflector is not customised, you get crappy artefacts in the beam. Yeah their X series are definately something. Copper X2 is out too now.
I must say that the l50 is probably the best buy for an EDC light I've ever picked up I currently own quite a few of them I have two of them on my one carbine it's ridiculous with both lights I just wish it would strobe and would go directly from being off to the bright light without having to go through the modes right before full brightness to turn it on to get it to full brightness and leave it idle at the mode before
@@DarrenYeoYTif you are with the reviewer and I did this correctly I think I found something I was reading up on it and it says it has programmable modes I have yet to uncover what they are but tinkering with mine I've learned that if you leave it in the last power mode you want to go back to when you turn it off when you turn it back on click the button down hold 1/11 then release it it should go back into the previous power mode you turned it off on let me know if this works for you please this is my only Grudge with this light it sucks because say there is a threat and I cannot afford to cycle through those stages so now I did it about 50 times in a row and it always goes back to the most powerful mode I left it on as long as I cycle to the most powerful mode or turbo mode and like I said when I reactivate it I click the button down for 1,000 and then release it and then it automatically fires up in the last previous mode it was powered off on let me know if this is the case with yours

minding my daughter's life I see a bunch of different lights on Amazon I don't know anything about them I know that feyachi makes very good products and I think I'm going to go with their $30 set up for my truck on it has the sensor where you can use the pressure pad if you know what I'm talking about that goes on the side of the gun that way all I got to do is tap that to activate it and as far as I know it doesn't have all these different Cycles it does but once you go into one it stays on that until you physically change it but it's a bit big for a pocket light this one I have now is perfect but like I said I think I found a glitch or a way to keep it on the high power mode but I don't want to gamble my life with that and I want a strobe I've had a strobe save my life actually the Nightcore I don't want to Ramble On and On so I'm going to cut it off here but I had someone that was charging at me a while back years ago before I was able to carry a firearm thank God but always this
Hi mate, their official site is legit. They should have sent you a confirmation email with tracking? If not, may be worth contacting them to see what's up. 2, maybe 3 weeks is the longest I've waited for a light to arrive here in Aus.
Great video thanks question do you know how to go from on the l50 from being dead off to automatically go into full brightness or is there a way to program or get right to it without flipping through? I heard it's programmable but can find nothing about it
Why do all of these flashlight reviews talk about maximum brightness and just a cursory review (that I could get from a web page) of the other "features"? I don't care if the flashlight is bright enough to bore holes through hardened armored steel or perform surgery from 100 feet away. For those looking for an emergency or prepper flashlight. There are other things more important than maximum brightness. 1. Does it have an ultra-low power "moonlight" mode? I'm not talking about "low". I'm talking about a light source in the 0.5 to 5 lumen (max) range). I have found that most of what I need a flashlight for can be done with a minimum of light. In a SHTF situation, I'm very concerned about battery life. I often have no idea how long I'm going to need that light, so squeezing as much battery life as I can is important. 2. How long does a fully charged battery (state the capacity) maintain moonlight mode? Not what the manual says. What did your testing reveal? 3. I can find my Wuben C2 in a pitch-black room because it has a unique feature that backlights the "W" on the power switch. It slowly cycles the brightness up and down almost as if it were breathing. It will do this (in blue) for months. When the battery gets low, it changes to red. How many other flashlights have this valuable "find me" feature? 4. Finally, does the flashlight have the ability to charge (and provide power to) an external USB powered device. The Wuben C2 has a USB 2.0 power output port. How many flashlights have this?
Thanks for your suggestions. This was an older video and I have also done separate, more detailed reviews of each lights. I don't test extended runtime of the moonlight mode though due to time constraints.
Wuben make some innovative lights, but they are a dishonest and untrustworthy company who does not live up to the promotions and who's customer service is lousy. Here is the story behind these comments. Wuben recently had a 2 for one sale. This was my first visit to their website, so I decided to get an E12R (plus the free one). On the product page it clearly said the E12R was part of the 2 for 1 promotion. But when I put them in my cart and tried to check out, their cart would not give me the promotion and was charging me full price for 2 lights. I emailed their customer support and told them what was happening. They responded by asking which item I was buying, so I replied and told them the E12R. Several emails when back and forth where they said that since I had not made the purchase, I was not eligible for the deal as it had ended. I explained that their system would not give me the deal so I did not check out while I was waiting for them to resolve the issue. A few more emails went back and forth but they refused to honor their promotion and blamed me for the problem because I did not check out at full price for 2 items. Ava, the customer service rep seemed unable to understand why there was a problem and refused to do anything to resolve the issue. So, that was my first , and last, time I will buy anything from Wuben, because they cannot be trusted and are dishonest and provide terrible/non-existent customer service.
Hi Don, I'm sorry to hear that - would seem reasonable if the promotion had just lapsed that they honour it anyway out of good faith. I can pass that feedback onto them if you'd like? Thanks for sharing.
