I just go mine from Amazon, but my light only has a super low(eco), a low and medium! It will only cycle through 3 modes! How do i get it to high? Is mine defective?

As a follow-up. Mine just came in the mail and from just playing with it in the backyard it's awesome. Mine has a nice round beam with no inclusions. Super brite and easy to switch from one setting to another. Way better than I'd hoped for. Thanks for the great review.

You referred to the W3 when you noted that the beam profile was square and there was artifact and tint variations. Did you mean the C3
In case anyone reads this: It seems that the first iteration or "variant" of the C3 had an unpleasing beam pattern. I think they fixed it rather fast, though. Mine has a very pleasing round beam pattern. I don't know that there is any way to tell this first batch of lights apart from the improved version; but every new flashlight you can buy should long be the fixed version.
I got this light on sale a couple of months ago, i really liked it, it charges fast too, for the price is a great value, the L50 is another great light too, and a bit cheaper

Good review. The Wuben C3. What a strange beam. It has all kind of artefacts. Ok, the throw is good enough but that beam. I see a price of €26.80, nice price but for that money there are lights with better beams.

You go to turbo and 10 seconds later it's off. Are you doing this or is turbo that short a time?

While on, do you have to wait a few seconds for mode memory to activate?
Or is it instant; if it's turned on for a second and turn it off, will it turn back on at the last brightness used?

When you measure the throw you seem to use different distances for every flashlight which makes them difficult to compare. Is that because some product a narrower bundle than others? Could you explain how you decide to use a certain distance? Just curious. Tia!
Some flashlights can't get past 200m so it's pointless shining them at a farm 500m away.

hi, quick question, do you experience flickering light showing on video while recording using this wuben c3?
Not to my eyes, I can only sense flicker with my eyes when using Xanes flashlights or similar quality
That's usually due to the frame rate if you're able to change your FPS it will usually stop doing that.
Can you tell me how much color heat this flashlight is ??

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV More accurately: No momentary on and modes are changed by briefly interrupting the power. This is not a flashlight for any kind of "tactical" use.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Momentary off. I do not own one of these so I am just using the review here as a basis for my judgement. The way it was described in the video is what is commonly known as a reverse clickie in flashlight circles. That means that you have to press the button all the way down until it locks in place to turn it on. You can then press the button lightly without clicking it again to interrupt the power (turn it off) which will cause it to change modes/output levels. This type of operation is not desirable in a flashlight used in conjunction with a firearm. I also do not want it in any flashlight I own.
In the video it says it uses "USB magnetic charging"
What's that mean?
THE USB CABLE input sticks to the flashlight and not plugs in.

But when you specify the lighting time according to the lighting conditions,
Do you measure the time of each lighting mode?
Or you publish the manufacturer's data.
I only measure Turbo for 10 mins.

It does memorise the mode after the light has been turned off 20 seconds or so.

I think the light is made in China but is also being marketed to Japan, reason why the language written all over the manual. I also saw somewhere in facebook that the box is different compared to the ones directed at chinese consumers, although I may be wrong....
