This light would be a nightmare to properly disassemble and then put it back today. I believe that replacing the battery would require a service manual - alternatively destroy some of them in order to put together a working, reversible open / close procedure. Honestly, the inside of the EDC29 looks more that of a digital photography camera. There is a lot of manual work involved in its manufacture. You can clearly see it comes from a place where the parts are expensive but the work is cheap.
Thanks for sharing this video. Hoping you will do teardown for jetbeam e26 there are many user of this light waiting to see if we can replace the battery.
После этой разборки захотелось maglite led 2d pro, понятно такой фонарь в современных реалиях носить нигде не будешь, но он ощущается намного надежнее.
I've been waiting for a teardown. Thank you!
Посмотрел много обзоров на Nitecore EDC29, только вы решились на разборку фонаря, да разборка не полная, но и за это спасибо!

I wonder if there are additional screws beneath that white glue pad. Good video.
You didn't even get to the battery? That would be the only reason to tear it down.
😔😔I wanted to see the actual built in battery
I'd probably end up breaking the carbon fibre frame...
@@TorchHackerso possible or not to change battery by ourselves without breaking any parts?
@hallucin0g3n_00 I don't think it's easy to change the battery. The frame might be friction welded and it looks like the battery might be soldered on.
The framerate of this video feels like a very jarring 15fps for some reason.

Replacing the battery will not work...

Nitecore should design a mini fan for its family of flat lights.
What's that behind the edc29 at 0:04?
That's the LOOP SK05. There is also a LOOP SK05 Pro coming out.
where can you buy one of these in Australia?
@@Studat I’d ask liteshop.com.au. EDC29 was just released. I’m sure that TSA Group will distribute them to gun stores.
