Bern... I gotta say, I've been a fan of yours since I stumbled across 'Weekend At Bernies' in 2010 (maybe 2011... Lots of Cookie joints since then). I've survived 10 brain surgeries. You got this! Happiness kills disease! I remember asking why me when I was 13 and my dad was crying next to my death bed. I remember telling him, "Don't do that in front of me, it's killing me, literally." My pops never shed a tear in front of me after that moment. We actually laughed in the face of death as crazy as it sounds. But, death feeds off sadness and misery. So I laugh every time I go under the knife and they split my wig open. It's never easy and there will be tears and heartache leading up to these moments. But, your smile, your grace, and your fam will beat this... Laugh with your daughter and smile 24/7. It won't get easier, each life test becomes harder in the medical world. But I assure you brotha, that your legendary status rises from this or you go out in a way that makes an average man go, "Well I'll be damned, dude was smiling all the way to the end."
