Luigi's is technically in Sunset Park. Sunset Park goes until the Prospect Expressway or 17th Street. Occasionally it's called South Slope or Greenwood Heights by realtors but it's still Sunset Park..
First time watching the channel Mike I love Geo the first time I saw his pizza shop was on that Pizza show with Frank G and I said to myself if I ever go to Brooklyn I'm stopping there for a slice.
love this pizza... best slice in nyc imo... it's this, then Joe's Pizza (on carmine st) - best classic nyc slice.(i call it a regular slice, have never called it a cheese slice... you prob right - it's a brooklyn thing or a throwback new yorker thing) Also love his sicilian slice & calzones
I hope this man lives forever
It's pizza. When people cant afford to eat pizza, it's over. Great quote!
Please let Gio live forever Lord. He is the last link to old school Brooklyn, NY.
I remember when when his father up that store back in 1973. I lived right up the block from the store.
If I'm fortunate to visit New York, Luigi's is the first place I visit. I love the classic look of the outside
I remember his father. I used to get pizza all the time.
This pizzeria has the best slice!! NOBODY does it better!!!
I've hit that spot after walking back from Greenwood Cemetery. Ordered two slices and ended up getting two more. Damn good pizza.
Love luigis!

That good guy. I go try one day. $2.75 is cheap for nyc.
Great message...old school.
Great video. I never knew that anybody in New York ever called Pizza “apizza”. I thought that was just a New Haven thing.
This place such a gem 💎
I'll have me a slice of fresh. Best pizza hands down
