@@pressure777 Sidechain is basically assigning a mixertrack to a automation, which then controlls the volume of the mixertrack. This helps, if you need drums to hit harder and also when you have two elements in the same frequency range (for example 808 and kick (when kick hits, 808s volume dips, therefore no clipping and harder kick/808)). Id recommend you search for a tutorial on sidechaining with the fruity limiter (if you use fl) (lofi tutorials also often talk about this).

I dont exactly know how they did it, but I would just sidechain the 808 to the lead and melody (using the fruity limiter)
