Oh you will do it wrong, and youll feel that way until you realise theres no way to do it wrong, because it should only sound good to you. Correct me if im wrong, but im only a perfectionist when it comes to things other people might see or interact with. Im terrible with selfcare, i cook food that tastes bad, terribly schedule things so it feels like i have no time when i do. I just do it anyways. It's no different with music. Make it badly, and make it for yourself
Yeah I just responded to another comment but this one is better for it so I'll copy paste. "your music will be imperfect. Imperfection is everywhere you should just take part in it anyways no one judges a squirrel for having a negative canthal tilt or some bullshit"
i work as a music teacher and honestly felt like i lost playing music as a hobby since it’s turned into my career. this video inspired me to get back into my songwriting. I still have my very first recorded song on soundcloud from 5+ years ago, so i’m excited to get back into it now that I have all the proper equipment! thank you for this
I can't tell you how much influence my music teachers had on me. I had one that stopped me from playing bucket drums and forced me to stick to guitar for the rest of high school. prolly part of why I stuck with it instead of bouncing around other instruments and not learning them in enough depth. Your job is powerful, mad respect. Maybe you or one of your students some day could end up like me, mostly a drop kick who loves music. Hope to hear some music from you soon
I think this video is cooking for you! I started watching it you had 100 subs. It autoplayed into another video of yours and you had 102. Went to look at your profile and you're at 103. Keep cooking!
This popped up in my feed while i was doomscrolling and i cannot understate how much of a breath of fresh air this video really is, especially with the reminder that excuses are bullshit. I grew up a classically trained violinist who made some music as a late teen, but burnt out hard when Uni hit. Now, working as a dance instructor/competition dancer, it almost feels silly that this video is probably going to be the catalyst that gets me to dust off those old DAWs i had a buddy crack for me in high school. Keep up doing what youre doing man
When I was in 3rd grade, I wrote and performed a song at a pep rally at school. It was absolute shit looking bad but it was fun asf. 7 years later, I’ve been trying to come up with new stuff, through random lines, voice memos, etc and I’m in the process of convincing my dad to let me get guitar lessons to add another instrument to my skill set. W video, your covers were also pretty fire.
dude dont take lessons. seriously. ive written a couple of songs and i have never taken a lesson in my life. I taught myself. figure out how to use keys and figure out how to makes chords in different keys and you'll be set for a while. Once bar chords are limiting your creativity, maybe take lessons. But seriously, the only reason you maybe need lessons if because they'll help you come to epiphanies faster. I promise you'll be ok if you dont take lessons. go watch "samjam guitars" theory videos and you'll eventually figure it out. its also cheaper to not take lessons. wishing you the best!
Oh yeah I should've mentioned that too, ive done all self learning on guitar, but for production i did book a studio session when i was starting ableton. There's so much good content out there if you wanna learn, but sometimes a helping hand is great for starting.
@wallflwr_ I'm working on getting into it, actually I'm having a producing session with some friends today, but i always try to do everything from scratch which slows down the work immensly and productions just die off cause of lack of willpower to finish them. This video really shows that you just have to work on yourself over and over again to get a masterpiece.
Sounds like fun! Definitely helps if you have people around you to get the motivation, but there really is no secret to getting stuff done besides just putting it iut there whether it's ready or not. You'll always wish you had done more, but getting stuff out there helps you practice dealing with that feeling and just working on new stuff. We have a discord with producers and people who'd love to make some stuff with you and you're mates, you should join!
i fuck with this heavy. i feel like some music people will put you down for doing covers, but it's an outlet to express the song in your own way. The first time I changed up the melody of a song was the moment I started believing that I could actually do the thing... and then slowly progressing to adding my own lyrics and so on. Very well thought out video!!
Yeah if no one knows what you're doing, then no one can critique you. So start however you wanna start. I'm glad you agree hopefully others can take inspiration from you
RUclips algorithm cooked with this one! I love your positivity and mindset, and I appreciate your vulnerability in this video. (and a brakence fan!) Really well-made video 😄
I lead a busy life with having a day job and multiple gigs that I forgot what it was like to make stuff for myself. Going to try to do it more this year.
Thank you for the reminder that my fear aren't as big as I make them out to be. And that I cant be worried about people judging music that I HAVEN'T EVEN MADE YET!
your music will be imperfect. Imperfection is everywhere you should just take part in it anyways no one judges a squirrel for having a negative canthal tilt or some bullshit
Excelent advice! I understand why you see understanding theory as nothing more than a barrier to entry but I swear understanding what makes music tick makes it so much easier to come up with good chord progressions and melodies. PD - The remix is fire, very well done
Also it helps you make concious stylistic decisions that provoke a specific emotive feel, instead of just "feeling it out" which can often lead to samey choices across several different songs.
Oh no i definitely agree, I would recommend for everyone to learn about music theory if they can. It's just never the first thing I would suggest somebody do if they wanted to get into making music. I think consciously listening to music and searching for chords/melodies that are interesting to you, rather than what's easier to make or the default can avoid that samey problem. Personally, exploring music is part of the joy of making it, and so if you focus on loving music in that way rather than the love of having a finished product, you'll end up with something interesting. I think that's why broadly speaking in my videos we make a range of music ( it also definitely helps to have ariels taste influence the music when he's mixing and Mastering as well though)
Thankyou for your thoughts though, it's probably definitely helpful for people who would like to approach it in a more structured way, which is awesome too. Anything to get people started
Thanks it's all Ariel I refuse to take responsibility for that. editing though, yeah i still suck I need to do better with lighting. But thankyou, I appreciate you taking the time to say that.
I just noticed this when I was working on something on my own a bit back! I tried to start from zero, and didnt rlly have much fun outside of "haha I click here and the drums go BRRR" Then I just went to bunch of sampling sites, took as much as I could (Mainly amen breaks, yes I am obsessed with them what can I say) and just playing around with premade things, chopping, adding effects, and streching out melodies to fit the 170 bpm tempo I put (because of course- I already went straight to breaks WHY STOP THERE?!) I managed to make something I fucking LOVE to listen to AND liked doing. That gratification of not only having fun but also comming back the next day, listening in, and being like "wait- I DID THIS?!" is something I had never had with anything that wasnt Illustration (which I have dedicated 4 years to and only as of late I've had that experience with) and it made me SO SO SO sad that I had to stop for the rest of the week, BUT HOO BOI AM I EXITED TO DO MUSIC NEXT WEEK >:D
I (allegedly) pirated FL studio years ago, I was on and off making stuff. I'd open it and make something for an hour before getting mad at myself for it sounding bad and deleting the save. When I was watching this I went back on FL studio and made a basic drumb loop, it was nothing special but it was something I was proud of. I'm really grateful you made this.
There's an artist acclaimed by Indie fans named Phil Elverum (aka The Microphones and Mount Eerie) who just kept making shit and releasing it and he got better and better. Someone asked him in a Q&A how much of his music he regretted releasing, to which the artist said "most of it", but the man made a cult classic just a few years into his musical endeavors (The Glow, Pt 2, released 2001) yet still releases music to this day and has many dedicated fans. Point is, just learn and bullshit your way through, and you can make a masterpiece if you go at it long enough.
I don't trust a thing I say cuz I know that guy and he's full of shit. I be making stuff for me, hopefully like minded people will come along for the ride.
You know there's something beautiful about the way you show passion while talking about music. Hopefully one day I'll be so in love with making music as well. Also I really wish this were on spotify ngl
@ that’s so sick dude. i genuinely aspire to be like you. i love music and i love drawing so much even though im not the greatest at either. i’m improving every day though
This video came across my YT feed at a really crucial time for me. Drowning in that ~misery~ and finding any excuse to not engage with something I love in case I taint that too. But reminding myself that what I make can just be for me and myself, and that other people are also just being silly and making music in their bedrooms and just being proud of what they've made and getting all excited about it is really encouraging. Keep up the good work and never stop creating ! ! !
You've hit the nail on the head, I'm so glad this video has landed for you in the way that it did. If you ever want people to make stuff with others, even if its not being published, join our discord! I'd love to see what you make unhindered by your own mental limitations. Thanks for the kind words, never stop creating.
Hi, thanks for this video it was kinda needed ! I'm afraid of making music (blocking and loss of confidence in what i thought was good just 5 minutes before ^^') so I struggle to produce any damn thing on that cracked fl studio even though I write and "rap" (sort of) since almost 8 years. I want to finally start even if it's trash and just for fun and I found your video very honest, raw and appeasing compared to many others. Just a passionate approach of music creation without any unnecessary pressure ! And the remake you made is really great, congrats for pushing it to a whole new level :) Also thanks for reading me until here !
Thankyou for sharing! I've heard from a lot of people in situations similar to yours, so trust me you're not alone. Everyone hates their beats and music the day after, I guarantee it. I call it "post beat clarity". Don't focus on the future, remove external pressures, just capture yourself and the moment in your music. This isn't advice for how to be successful because God knows I know nothing about that. This is about loving what you're doing in the moment, expressing yourself, and if you get good enough to capture how you feel in a moment, it's a beautiful thing to listen back on. I love creating as a hobby because I can go back to something like our twenty//20 album and recognise all the feelings and situations I went through were real, but also how far I've grown from them. Maybe it's not about making something other people think is good or you think is good, maybe it's just about making something. Food for thought
It really is much easier to make music now than when I first tried it which makes it more daunting because you hear kids making the wackiest shit, but not much point in comparison & the accessibility of it is ultimately a beautiful thing. I think if you're purely focused on electronic stuff, remixes might be a good shout in place of covers. You've made me wanna remake some of my old WIPs, good video
Wonderful music, and your music process is also awesome! Love the passion the share in the video, keep your creative drive, and hope more people find this video! As someone who has really enjoyed music recently but has been a little intimidated to do it, thank you for making this! :)
I'm so glad you enjoyed, it really is a whole new level of appreciation once you start making it and can appreciate how every single wavelength for every single second of a song is intentional. It's a beautiful thing I recommend everyone try
i made music and released an album in 2019. was preparing for it for like 5 years prior, learning daw, composing mixing and mastering. recieved a bit of support but man i burnt the fuck out from making and releasing this shit. was broke af too. so i went into sound design and for the past two years, a gamedev sound design. and heavy weed addiction. and now i feel like going back to music. lets rock
I relate heavy. Our first ep, we were so done with it we skimped on mixing by the time it released. The brain is like a muscle, and the heavier the expectations you hold for your music the more tiring it will be for your mind, until you burnout. It sounds rough but im glad you got into something music adjacent, game sound design sounds like a dream to me tbh. Hopefully when you pick up music again it isn't a weight, but rather a 300cc cocktail of steroids and preworkout injected directly into your bloodstream that you love doing. No expectations though
thank you friend! i was already feeling kinda motivated to write something on guitar and this video convinced me that i NEED to write something. you seem to be a a sweet person, i love it! i wish you the best!
Dude, this is actually super helpful. I’ve been wanting to make music with my guitar for so long, but I’ve been letting self-doubt get in the way. Seeing you go through this process and even cringe at your old work is really encouraging, so thank you 😊.
I'm glad it helped you, painful as fuck for me. Self doubts very normal if you're expecting something out of it. Making stuff with your guitar is just expression, you do that every day. Whether or not you're afraid to, you do it anyways. Same idea. Hope that helps
The advice to start out with making covers is actually fantastic advice for a coupler reasons: 1) You study what works in songwriting 2) You improve your abilities 3) You can gain an audience by playing songs that are currently relevant, and then some of that audience will be willing to listen to your originals 4) Its easier to put out covers on a regular basis because you don't have to feel super creatively inspired to make a cover
I'm glad this showed up on my feed, I really needed someone to just tell me this and show how much you can grow if you JUST DO. Imma work on my cover as I speak, thank you
8:10 calling you out for the chickened flex, that brought things into a like '6am coffee table' vibe that you usually don't feel except at those early mornings where the hustle is hush, respect.
I can second this!!! Started out making covers n .flp recreations of OneShot music (btw, making recreations is amazing for getting a good ear!) now i make decent-ish stuff If you really suck at committing to stuff though (like me), make it related to something that just makes you feel something from hearing or seeing it (for me, it was OneShot, obv). (also having bad ears isn't an excuse mine literally have holes lmao)
Thanks for this video. I couldn't agree with you more about everything you say. I started my musical journey a long long time ago and never thought it would get any where close to what it is today. I began self publishing my songs on RUclips and then began distributing them out to music outlets no one gives a shit no one watches and no one cares. But I guarantee just like the end of your video if someone just starts out of the love of making music you will improve. You have inspired me to get passed some mental hurdles that keep me from releasing more stuff. Look out world more crappy music coming to RUclips and spotify!
When I found fl studio vids that had like 30 views and it was the best thing I'd ever heard. P.s I actually really like your remix, so I guess you were right, you don't have to like your own music for other people to like it. You should definitely upload to RUclips with your music too P.p.s you forgot to put your friends links dude
Yeah youtube and music kinda took the same route for me where in the beginning I was making stuff I liked, and hoped other people would think is good too. By the time I had any skill I was just making it for me and didn't care what other people thought because I thought I was the only one listening to it anyways. There's some lesson to be learnt the but im not figuring it out
really helped motivate me to work on the things i love making, and ive wanted to learn to make music for a long time. really great video man, love you keep it up
A little aside, even though your earlier work was not perfect. One could tell you have a natural affinity for music. A lil raw talent if you will. So i for one am super happy you decided to pursue music! Thank you! 🖤
I think it's a lil easier to get something sounding good when im copying from so many different places, but I'm glad you feel that way cuz I'm doing this music shit till the day I die
Take my sub brother. I've really needed to just make music as an outlet. I've always wanted to make music. But I've always been so worried its going to suck and nobody will listen. Which, is probobly what's going to happen. but I need to just do it anyway, I bet it will be a great time. I originally wanted to do covers. But then I decided that when people do covers they make an audience that only wants the covers who dont convert to their original music. But you made some good points. Maybe ill try to do some covers, will be a lot easier to start out.
I mean, if youre looking for an audience it will be way harder to start by making your own music instead of making covers because there's more pressure on you. I think some artists can change from covers to music is because they put their own spin on the covers anyways which is adjacent to their own music. Just start making it anyway you can always figure out the rest later, although I'm not the guy to be giving out "audience making" tips. I just be making stuff
I'm not sure that I used that but im just glad SOMEONE CARED ENOUGH TO NOTICE fr my first time caring about fonts in a video. That shit is tedious if you're doing it by yourself
@@wallflwr_ its just finding stuffs that is properly licensed, and trying to self host so I physically have them on my hardrive when editing or serverd with my service if i'm using a programming project
I needed a video like this, it just feels like I haven't even begun in everything I say I'm good at, just so I can say I have and can do SOMETHING, ANYTHING. I say I don't have the time with college going on, classes, I'm not good enough and I don';t have enough practice even though just DOING it is what gives me that practice. There are so many things that I love that I would be honored to have in my life, like drawing, animation, music, acting, dancing, but I get intimidated and back out. I don't think I'm there yet, but this helps, thanks.
I have a hella things I'm interested in, and youtube only addresses like, half of my interests so it's a good medium for me. The video part forces me to do something, but the freedom of it let's me engage with art which I only started doing this year, making more music, and editing. Even with RUclips as a motivator, the best stuff I make is still when im doing it for me, which yiu can see this video and the song in it was made for me and the people I love. I hope that gives yiu some confidence, that the only difference between you and me rn is I just chose to press the upload button on something I loved making and wouldve made anyways
I bought a cheap ass guitar on Amazon a few months ago after a bad breakup and now I’m addicted to just spamming all the Ramones songs I know every day. I’ll come back to this video in a year
thankyou for sparking up my will to create music again, I've been stop making beat and music for almost 2 years now cause of my own anxiety and pressure that I created on myself... Turns out all I have to do is just love music and do what I love!! Thankyou so muchhh 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I liked this advice - when you can't go all in and make everything from scratch, then just make a cover, so you can only remake 1 part of the song and not worry about the rest. Really helps mentally to not get overwhelmed and at least have enough courage to just start making smth
“well vocals, i dont really know how to talk
about it-“ *AND I FREAKING ASCENDED*
I'm glad it made you feel that way since I didn't know how to talk about it
I have a crippling fear of doing something wrong and perfectionism
Oh you will do it wrong, and youll feel that way until you realise theres no way to do it wrong, because it should only sound good to you. Correct me if im wrong, but im only a perfectionist when it comes to things other people might see or interact with. music is an unperfectable art... noone in the whole world is perfect at it...
Yeah I just responded to another comment but this one is better for it so I'll copy paste. "your music will be imperfect. Imperfection is everywhere you should just take part in it anyways no one judges a squirrel for having a negative canthal tilt or some bullshit"

you and every other musician my friend
i work as a music teacher and honestly felt like i lost playing music as a hobby since it’s turned into my career. this video inspired me to get back into my songwriting. those vocals are fire dude that's what I'm tryna sound like
ask ariel he mixed the shit out of them
You gave me hope with thus comment😂
you gotta crawl through the cringe before you can walk through the fire
I was born in the cringe, mouldy from it or whatever the saying is
I think this video is cooking for you! I started watching it you had 100 subs. It autoplayed into another video of yours and you had 102. Went to look at your profile and you're at 103. Keep cooking!
Will do my best, seems like a good strategy is to just put love out there to to get it back
i'm happy i made my algorithim give me small music youtubers
I'm happy it's showing it to people it might help. Thanks for watching!
Same
Honestly some of the best advice for new artists I've seen in awhile!
I do be addressing it to people who I think should start

But reminding myself that what I make can just be for me and myself, and that other people are also just being silly and making music in their bedrooms and just being proud of what they've made and getting all excited about it is really encouraging. Keep up the good work and never stop creating ! ! !
You've hit the nail on the head, I'm so glad this video has landed for you in the way that it did. If you ever want people to make stuff with others, even if its not being published, join our discord! I'd love to see what you make unhindered by your own mental limitations. Thanks for the kind words, never stop creating.
Thanks for the advice :D
(plus fire edit at the end!!!
you brought back the traumahh)
You can tell you love what you do, can’t wait to see where you go next!
Bro you're making the exact style of videos I want to 😭, I hope you pop off my g 🙏
And the remake you made is really great, congrats for pushing it to a whole new level :)
Also thanks for reading me until here !
@@wallflwr_ Hey, late answer from my side but thanks for yours it's nice of you, that's grounded and passionate advice and i fw that thanks again
Anytime. I have nothing else if not passion
I needed to hear this. Thank you for this motivation.
ooo another rising star
right at the moment when i was unsure if i actually have to start by making a cover
I mean, it's not the *only* way, but it is a pretty damn good one to start
It's a beautiful thing I recommend everyone try
if you wanna start you can join us in discord and I might put out a tutorial on how to use a DAW to start if that helps
Once again a fantastic video Flowerhead! Btw cant wait for your next drop for SomewhatGoodMusic.
i made music and released an album in 2019. was preparing for it for like 5 years prior, learning daw, composing mixing and mastering. recieved a bit of support but man i burnt the fuck out from making and releasing this shit. was broke af too. so i went into sound design and for the past two years, a gamedev sound design. and heavy weed addiction. and now i feel like going back to music.
Loving the break down of how straight forward the recording process can be keep it up man :)
this video is actually peak, without a doubt, feels like this came to me at a time i most needed to hear it.
That's awesome to hear man. I'm planting seeds so that when I'm old and geriatric I'll have good music to listen to. It's all a ploy
thank you friend! i was already feeling kinda motivated to write something on guitar and this video convinced me that i NEED to write something. you seem to be a a sweet person, i love it! i wish you the best!
Thankyou! I hope your guitar writing goes well
Dude, this is actually super helpful.
@ That does help, thank you ☺️.
Tbh the veil over the cap is a fire fit and im gonna steal that for a character design
THANKYOU. GOD I NEEDED THIS VALIDATION IM SHOWING THIS COMMENT TO EVERYONE WHO ROASTED IT
Ah hell yeah dude this video rocks, I hope you blow up because I wanna see more of this content.
sooo good.... just the inspiration/direction I needed right now....
I'm glad to hear that, thanks for watching
Great funny video with a good message. Big respect.
Appreciate that boss, thankyou
The advice to start out with making covers is actually fantastic advice for a coupler reasons:
1) You study what works in songwriting
2) You improve your abilities
3) You can gain an audience by playing songs that are currently relevant, and then some of that audience will be willing to listen to your originals
4) Its easier to put out covers on a regular basis because you don't have to feel super creatively inspired to make a cover
Glad you feel the same way, I didn't even think this deeply about it. I just figured how I started could be useful for other people. Great insight
this video was genuinely so fun to watch
Hey if you don't make any music, at least you got something out of it
there are so many ways in which this video was amazing . this made me subscribe
Love this video, love what you are doing for people and I love the heylog/brakence/midwest hyperpop influence
Goddamn I really be wearing my influences on my sleeve, huh?
Genuinely a masterpiece 🤌
This video is gonna make numbers.
Keep it up man!
Also, i love your little veil ahah
Thankyou sir I come from a family of tailors that would crucify me for how I sewed it
This showed up just when I needed it. Thanks for making cool shit man.
Thanks for joining the discord, we'll make some cool shit together
I'm glad this showed up on my feed, I really needed someone to just tell me this and show how much you can grow if you JUST DO.
Imma work on my cover as I speak, thank you
That makes me happier than you could know. Expression is a mandatory part of existence
@@wallflwr_ Keep doing what you doing! I'm sure you will inspire many more to express themselves :D
Man, I love this video sm, fire music, fire editing, fire tips, keep it up man!
i couldnt agree more with everything you said in this video. literally just start and as long as you put enough effort you will improve!!! W vid fr
I'm glad it resonates with people! Means I'm not gaslighting myself into thinking my struggles are the same as everyone elses
good video bro, cool style
Thanks bro, w comment
8:10 calling you out for the chickened flex, that brought things into a like '6am coffee table' vibe that you usually don't feel except at those early mornings where the hustle is hush, respect.
Oh I was going for "fuck its 3rd period math gotta finish this shit so I can do the homework he's collecting" but death of the artist and all that
You NEED to put that on Spotify
It's illegal unfortunately
thank you for making this video and pushing people to finally make the dive into music
Bruh you went off frfr, I needed this video, gonna have to steal some inspo from you for the culture🤙🏾
Steal away, I stand on the shoulders of giants
Saved this vid for later and a I'm do glad i did LOL
great info, great comedy. Love it!
Thanks! I don't care what people think about my music but my self esteem is contingent on my humour.
Broooo the beat crazyy vocals crazzzyyyyy yuhhhh
I can second this!!!
Started out making covers n .flp recreations of OneShot music (btw, making recreations is amazing for getting a good ear!) now i make decent-ish stuff
If you really suck at committing to stuff though (like me), make it related to something that just makes you feel something from hearing or seeing it (for me, it was OneShot, obv).
(also having bad ears isn't an excuse mine literally have holes lmao)
You will now forever be my scapegoat when people give me that bullshit excuse. Thankyou for this gift
I am like: from the start until "Exercise Caution" would be awesome for a start of metalcore song
I love u bro thanks for tips and motivation
Also i think u gonna be huge one day
Thanks for this video.
Let's gooooooo this guy gets it
music brought me to tears fr great work
by the end i kept thinking "ohhhh this is whyy i love music and love making music omgmggmgmg"
You did your job well.
Lmao, I loved this, had me dying. Glad to watch you before you get big. 💙 (Love knowing you listen to brakence too)
FUCK YES I'm glad my jokes landed I can never tell
thanks for this video fam, you inspired me to make music again so thank you!
No need to thank me for making it, I made it for myself. Thankyou for watching, I'm glad it helped you out in some way
I never knew Sia had a younger sibling!
Bro. thank you for making this vid and you are really good
No need to thank me, I had a blast making it. I'm glad you enjoyed
To fear cringe is to be shackled. To embrace cringe is to have courage. Be cringe my friends
I watched Teddy Swims covers for years before he became an “overnight success”. He learned his craft making covers.
I'll definitely check him out. I feel embarrassed listing joji, I don't think he started making covers...
Damn, did not expect those vocals! So good
Thanks, I've heard my voice doesn't match my veil so how could you know
When I found fl studio vids that had like 30 views and it was the best thing I'd ever heard.
P.s I actually really like your remix, so I guess you were right, you don't have to like your own music for other people to like it. You should definitely upload to RUclips with your music too
P.p.s you forgot to put your friends links dude
THANKYOU FOR REMINDING MR I'm sorry arkam...
Yeah youtube and music kinda took the same route for me where in the beginning I was making stuff I liked, and hoped other people would think is good too. By the time I had any skill I was just making it for me and didn't care what other people thought because I thought I was the only one listening to it anyways. There's some lesson to be learnt the but im not figuring it out
super nice video
Thank you sir, I hope to hear some dope shit coming out of your crew
really helped motivate me to work on the things i love making, and ive wanted to learn to make music for a long time. really great video man, love you keep it up
Thankyou boss, glad to hear I could help you out in making stuff for yourself. Would love to hear it one day
A little aside, even though your earlier work was not perfect.
🖤🖤
Song was fireeeeeeee and loved the tips love making songggggggg
Thankyouuuuu I loved making songggggg
Nice song production good job keep going my brother
Thankyou for the encouragement but not needed, I shall make music till I die
@ Asé to that Me to
Take my sub brother.
I’ve been doing covers for over a year now, and I’m getting that desire as you mentioned, to start creating my own stuff. Great tips, thank you!!!
NAH BRO I LOVE THE MVB DOVETAIL FONT IN VIDEOS TOO
I'm not sure that I used that but im just glad SOMEONE CARED ENOUGH TO NOTICE fr my first time caring about fonts in a video. That shit is tedious if you're doing it by yourself
@@wallflwr_ its just finding stuffs that is properly licensed, and trying to self host so I physically have them on my hardrive when editing or serverd with my service if i'm using a programming project
I feel honoured to have found this video!
Thanks. It really ain't that deep I'm just glad you enjoyed
@ thanks man. I needed that.
I bought a cheap ass guitar on Amazon a few months ago after a bad breakup and now I’m addicted to just spamming all the Ramones songs I know every day. I’ll come back to this video in a year
Love this man! Keep it up!!
I will do my best 👌
Great video man, the beat tingled my brain
That shit was bouncing my whole body when I was making it, I'm glad you enjoyed
@@wallflwr_ yes, definitely. keep up the good work!
Found this when i needed two
Sorry I only have one for you, but glad you found it helpful
thankyou for sparking up my will to create music again, I've been stop making beat and music for almost 2 years now cause of my own anxiety and pressure that I created on myself... Turns out all I have to do is just love music and do what I love!! Thankyou so muchhh 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hell yeahhhhhh let's goo master manipulator hard at work
those vocals are insane, u should def make a video about the mix on them
I wish I could but I just sang them, you can ask ariel to drop the tutorial cuz he mixed them
You know that I actually have a project of making japanese cover on a new channel? xD
I need to watch this video through!!!
Sounds awesome! Would love to see it once you're done, we've got a discord link if you ever wanna chat about it
@@wallflwr_ Alright!!! :D x)
I liked this advice - when you can't go all in and make everything from scratch, then just make a cover, so you can only remake 1 part of the song and not worry about the rest. Really helps mentally to not get overwhelmed and at least have enough courage to just start making smth
Maybe I'll finally start making smth of my own from this, thanks for the video
No worries, I'm glad that's how it came across cuz that's exactly what I was trying to get at
Man, you deserve to be celebrated for this video, such love in such vulnerability... You are hero, sir.
It ain't that deep it's easy to be vulnerable without a face, but thankyou for watching. I hope it helped you out
