@@tacayamaxd "jerk" isn't a music term, it's just a term coined by internet producers that like various subgenres of trap. Yeah it's different than typical trap but it's not very far off. the drum patterns are very typical for trap outside of the snare which is just bouncy. I get needing to coin the genre to differentiate from the decades of evolution of trap but this genre and "maplekore" and these other subgenres all have roots in trap/underground trap which was where I was coming from. I just think there could be a way better term than "jerk" lol. these new genres are cool and a nice refresh for the underground but yeah just odd to coin it "jerk" when it doesn't feel very jerky or sudden at all but rather smooth and bouncy
