Thank you Coach for not flooding us with advertisements and sponsorships. No talk of gambling lines. This podcast is about sharing football knowledge, not making a few bucks. Well done!
Exactly. I hate the endless 'gamble gamble gamble' nonsense. As if we are all not poor enough already without wasting money gambling. Shameful that the NFL is into this.
YT has already increased AND extended the commercials on the site. Add to that the "promo's" and "sponsorships" that content-creators will add during a video, and you hv a very annoying listening experience!
I don’t understand how BILL BELICHECK’S RUclips channel has so few subscribers. It’s a shame “fans” would prefer watching some shit like First Take where there is no real analaysis and is just fake drama and yelling at each other. It’s men’s version of desperate house wives and it’s shameful.

Tomlin is very smart. Russell was supposed to be the starter but got hurt, so no choice. However, he had, what, 6 games until Wilson was healthy, and Tomlin now knows that he's got a very capable backup (with passing issues to be worked on) while the passing QB starts. If anything happens to Russell, he has confidence (and the alternate offensive system) to make Fields work.

One man's opinion, but this trio is the group that could solve the "Coaches Room Telecast" for football games. I know ESPN tried, and failed mostly miserably, trying to cobble together college football telecast using Coaches Room format. Too many unpolished coaches, disastrous hosting, too many tangents, etc etc. I understand this is show isn't realtime, but Bill and Matt's demeanor combined with Mike managing the group would be just the thing to allow us to watch football games with some ACTUAL "expert analysis" (Apologies to Tony Romo, who isn't bad...)
So what I’m hearing as a Pats fan is my favorite players are probably getting traded soon. Good luck to em hopefully they can help another team win because we sure as hell arent
It is so refreshing listening to true football minds simply talking ball without any hot takes, out shouting each other or trying to get clicks. I learn more in two minutes of belichick, lombardi and Patricia chatting than I would in 24 hours of the bombastic blowhards blathering.
Was really hoping to hear a little bit about the scenario the Bucs have suddenly been thrusted in to. Losing both top 5 wr in one night, Mike for 3 weeks minimum (probably 4-6 if they really want him healthy) ,that was severe hamstring pop, and the sudden pain caused him to drop the td and from what I’ve heard from people who’ve dealt with a severe hamstring injury like that feels like (not professional athletes) it’s like you’ve been shot in the back of the leg out of nowhere. Cool thing is we get to see what our rookie and second year recievers look. Trey and Macmillan go from being a 3rd and 4th option behind the clear 1&2 evans and Godwin. Experience is what’s needed and they’re both about to get that experience and praying Macmillan separates himself as just a rookie wr in to a guy who can be a 1 or 2 receiver. He was supposedly gonna be able to replace Evans once he retires, so this will be a great litmus test. Go Bucs!!! Fuck the falcons, Bucs had a 98% chance of winning with 2 mins left until our roooie rb fumbles that ball while in fg range. Refs also ignored a facemask oh that same rookie while in fg range but called a hold which not us out of field goal range. Forced us to punt which gave Atlanta opportunity to tiny football. If Bucky doesn’t fumble that ball, game over, and when we got the ball back again and the ignored the facemask, it really looked like the refs wanted Atlanta into overtime. Cannot stand the coin flip overtime rules where whoever wins the flip gets the ball first and if a touchdown its game over. Both teams should get at least one possession, then if it’s still tied after that first team score wins. anyways Lsts fuckin blew baked. Be yourself, don’t force the ball, and run the ball down Atlantas throats. Forge their will onto that d line 🔥 🏴☠️ 💥
Sad to see a great coach just mimicking nationally popular narratives from other talking heads. Would love to compare the working playbooks from Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels. Well, Caleb probably still knows the offense Jayden is currently running from last year with Kingsbury. It would be interesting to see the responsibilities they each have I can't imagine the LSU offense has more responsibilities than a Shanahan offense in the NFL.
How can Mike Lombardi, who used to be a general manager of an NFL team, say that he thinks Carolina might be be one of the best 12 college football teams? Then he doubles down on that comment when Belechick laughs. This reminds me of years ago when the Uconn women's team as undefeated heading into the national championship game, and some pundits suggested that they might beat the New Jersey Nets...and they were serious. I mean, the Nets would have beaten Uconn 250 to 6 (and of course Unconn really struggled in the championship game...lol). I also remember on a forum once where someone suggested that Ronday Rousey could beat NDomeken (sic) Suh in a match and would be able to toss him around the ring. I mean, I will remember Michael Lombardi's comment forever.
It's sad how entertainment is valued more than information. I like the New Heights Podcast but the Coach Podcast has more football information in one episode than an entire season of New Heights.
