Best football show available. By a long shot. Bill, Mike, and Matt bring so much to the table for these discussions, and I think there's some really good chemistry here, too, with you guys having worked together for a long time and being friends and all. Really enjoy watching the show.
Hey Eaglesfan117, I have zero doubts about the trouble your team is in. As a longtime Pittsburgh Steelers fan, my team has their own issues. Your Eagles needs to get rid of HC Nick Sirianni and get Bill Belichick or Mike Vrabel immediately. This incredible podcast by Coach Bill Belichick is an incredible display of NFL coaching fundamentals that are needed for every team. Since the 10-1 record last season, there's been a massive disconnect in communication between QB Jalen Hurts, HC Nick Sirianni, and the rest of the team. Eaglesfan117, I'm speaking from experience because of the 11-1 record of the next-to-last season of Ben Rothliesberger and the Steelers. I felt that it was their best shot at Super Bowl championship #8. But the 1-4 record down the stretch and playoff loss to the Cleveland Browns eliminated any chance at this golden opportunity. Eaglesfan117, I know there's no love at all between our teams and the fanbases. But I can tell you as a Steelers fan that knows heartbreak: it's just a genuine disappointment when you have a Super Bowl championship caliber team, and you think that your Super Bowl championship window is wide open. But the fact is that the Super Bowl championship window 🪟 for legitimate contenders like Baltimore, Kansas City, the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia, and the San Francisco 49ers is at least 4-5 years. There's no room for error and no room for turnovers. Head Coach Bill Belichick said it best: "Ball Security is Job Security." No turnovers. Dedication to the fundamentals. Costly turnovers (picks and fumbles) will destroy momentum and red zone opportunities for every NFL team, especially the JETS. Eaglesfan117, your team needs to get their focus in gear. This season is truly make or break. And this podcast is truly incredible and informative. 😎
I’m from the U.K. and only followed the NFL for 10 years, and around 5/6 years really intensively. Personally I think there’s a real lack of quality in the league in the last couple or so seasons. Technicians are lacking too, abit like the Premier League in the UK where they are favouring athletes over pure talent. That’s why I like Purdy so much, he’s not as athletic as some other QB’s but his awareness, dynamism and passing is top tier. Not sure what others who’ve been watching the league much longer than me think.
@@kendrickelliott536not with the old rules. You can’t compare for a number of reasons, but the 5 yard chuck, etc, etc makes the game vastly different. I’m here for it. I just don’t think you can compare.
I wanna give Mike and Matt some love. You can hear why they both found success with Bill and why Bill likes to talk to them, they just have great chemistry.
As a Croat living in Croatia, I would feel great pride every week if I saw Bill with a Croatian flag🇭🇷 on his sleeve. I'm sorry I didn't have the chance to see him live when he visited the land of its roots this summer. Basically, I really miss him not being the head coach after all these years, but I'm starting to like him more and more in this new role. Unlike other shows of this type that lean towards sensationalism, here we have the opportunity to witness a real football conversation. 🏈🇺🇲All praise.👍🏻
Patriots for life fan here... love hearing Coach Bill and Mat talking about the NFL. While we didn't hear much of the tactics from Bill during coaching the Patriots, it's a real wonderful feeling to listen to Bill and his mind on football.
I see ‘Gridiron Genius’ by Michael Lombardi back there… how about a video on Coach B’s Most Valuable Books in his football library? Any book recommendations on the game, history of the game, and his personal favs I think would be immensely interesting. 😀👍
They did talk about a few books in an earlier ep., just lombardi and belichik. I think one may have been his father's book. Probably the Bill Walsh book about west coast offense. They mention others as well.
Their comments about Lambeau Field are spot on. There is no place in the NFL that matches it. The stadium is comparable to Wrigley Field. It is just a special, special place. If you ever in the area and have not been there go in have lunch and check out a tour and NEVER pass up a chance to see a game there. NEVER.
The best sports stalk show on the tube!! Bill you came out of your shell. This will land you a HC position. You are soooo much more like liable.. well done all 3
Bill didn’t miss out on jobs because GM’s thought he was shy… No GM wanted to hire a guy who was coach and GM all in one - he’ll be a nightmare to work with then get you fired. Coaching’s loss is RUclips’s gain though, this show is great
This is by far my favourite go to for nfl news and opinions. Coach, as a Brit who is starved of content and would love more could you do a best books to read review. I find myself trying to read the titles behind you so I can then go Google them and see if I can buy. What are the best books out there? Also it would be amazing for you to do an episode showing us around the set. There are so many amazing items I'd love to hear more about.
The solution is to plays Starters alot more in Preseason. Bears had a Rookie QB, New OC, New RB1, working on the OL, Caleb had to learn with these WRs. I get the D is proven it is good so letting those guys sit was smart. Bears look great now, but that offense should of played alot more preseason games. Then it wouldn't of took til week 3-4 to know Matt Pryor is your RG and maybe best OL. Not Nate Davis who you paid, Nor Bates who you traded for. The Vet min guy won the job.
He certainly does. The rest of team, not so much. I was watching a talented qb playing on a bad team this past Sunday. I'm afraid it might look like that for a while. Can't say I have any faith in the new dream team the Kraft's put together to run this thing. That's not where you want to be shopping at the discount store.
Drake fits in a vertical offense that doesnt forget about the middle of the field. Big arm and good athlete. Make a big throw if its not there some chunk run yds should be.
NFC North is getting to be a tough division. It was usually GB or MIN on top now 3 out of 4 and the Bears are on the come up. For me the sleeper team right now is Tampa Bay. They are a well balanced football team with a physical defense and Baker has resilience
Can you upload these to podcast apps too? I love listening to these on the go but I can't do that with RUclips (I don't want RUclips Premium). Love this - my favourite football podcast :)
59 to 0. Tom Brady had 5 TD passes in the 2nd quarter alone. snow squall came thru and Tennessee wasn't ready for it. That got out of hand in a hurry. It was epic. 😀

The Lions have to use the Hutchinson injury as an opportunity to see how well built their organisation is. Great teams can lose great players and still find a way to win.
The last ten seconds of the show 😂😂😂
It's okay michael, I knew what you meant
LOL, just think, you have Bill Belichick correcting him on how to say it. Who would have ever thought?

Never realized the respect and admiration that Coach has for the cheese🧀heads and Packers' culture.
if you love pro football you've got to love the packers, one of the great franchises in pro sports

3:07 “Aidan Hutchinson injured his knee” umm no he broke his tibia in pretty gruesome fashion
And actually a broken tibia is WAY better than any ligament tear. Not discounting the awful injury, just trying to look on the bright side.
Broken tibia and fibula

Hutchinson 0 sacks against my Hawks, but 10 pressures. Too bad Lions seriously. If we don't make it your my team
7 studs can be dangerous to one's knees
We need one episode where we get Coach Patricia to put a pencil behind his ear with a laminated call sheet just to mess with the Mannings.
