Great tent. Dry and Sturdy. Comes with 10 stakes. 3 lines connect to a single stake on the ends, 2 from the rain fly and 1 from the tent. 10 gets it done. I use it to solo backpack so I have a bit of extra room.

It worked great for the Rugged Mountain Twins!! Ya that would be a ton of room for one! Nice to have some extra space after a long day of hiking!

For someone who can’t even roll up the doors on the fly, I think not having enough stakes is the least of her problems. Those other tie-out points are only needed in strong winds, you get enough with the tent for a basic setup. But I agree you should have enough to stake the tent and for all the tie-out points.

Haha go easy on her, it was her first backpacking trip and backpacking tent. I actually thought just folding it over was easier... as long as it wasn't windy! Ya, even if one doesn't always bring all the stakes, they should at least give you the option!

@@DMSAdventures Sure thing! Expensive tents are overrated. There are perfectly good budget-friendly tents that are more affordable. They allow more people to get out there and enjoy time spend outside.

Nice little tent. Looks roomy enough for 1 plus gear I’d say.

It seemed to work for the 2 of them since they are kind of short. Me and Mister would probably fit comfortably with gear!

Most people probably don’t need to actually use the ground tarp/footprint unless on some very rocky or other problematic ground. The tents bottom material is pretty tough, it’s not an ultralight tent with super thin lightweight fabric.

I agree. When you've grown up doing it all the time it's a hard habit to break! I'm always worried... even when i shouldn't be! Thanks for taking the time to drop a comment!!

@@DMSAdventures there is one good thing about using a ground cloth or footprint whatever you want to call it. It does keep the bottom of the tent clean, and it gives you a surface in order to roll it up on rather than the bare ground. Which is important if it’s been raining.

Very true. Also some of these Tents can be pitched in a "fast pitch" configuration which is just the poles fly and footprint.

That’s a sweet tent. That’s more of what I’m use to. Not your luxury tent. The color coating would help me big time.

Awesome tent for two people. Me and my brother both fit at over 250 pounds.
The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to not get the inside wet during a rain storm when opening the fly.

That's a problem with most Tents, especially backpacking ones. I tried to use a tarp to make a vestibule. More weight but effective! Check this video out for an idea! Thanks for watching!! ruclips.net/video/agTFFX8GfQg/видео.html
