  • What’s up everyone and happy Thursday! I’m SO excited to share this video with everyone!! It has been far too long since I've visited this creek, it was AWESOME to get back out and do some Indiana geode collecting! There were so many geodes! And there was so much that was filmed, this will be a 3-part collecting extravaganza!!
    This creek is located in southern Indiana, and one of my favorites to frequent when I have the chance to get down there! I take paisley and my friend Jared along with me and we find some awesome things! So, kick your feet up, grab a drink and join me for some of the greatest geode hunting content there is!

    Nice finds! A lot of gravelers but those omanytes and onix are hard to find around here. Keep up the good work geodudes!

    At the 3:42 mark in the video...that's a beautiful piece of sandstone that shows the fossilized remains of a shoreline...note the wave marks preserved in the stone. Beautiful.

    I’m visiting family with my kids this summer in ft Wayne and they love geodes. We live in Hawaii where there are none.
    Any suggestions on where we can go?
    Thanks🤙

    Do you keep throwing the ones back because they're too heavy and probably solid?

    • @GeodeCrackerCollector
      @GeodeCrackerCollector  2 года назад +1

      Precisely! The ones that get tossed are too heavy and more than likely solid. Especially in this creek!

      @@GeodeCrackerCollector I was literally in bedford and brown County this weekend. Couldn't find any of the creeks that might have some. Idk if locals are keeping them secret or what.

    • @GeodeCrackerCollector
      @GeodeCrackerCollector  2 года назад

      @@randywissler9923 it’s hard to find places over there in those counties that’s for sure. I haven’t got any places I hunt out that way yet. Definitely some hush hush things from the locals which is understandable to an extent. Have you talked to the brown county rock club yet?
