    I just wanted to aay i absolutely love the safety glasses on statements every time you go to break up nodules. It would be ao easy to edit out or even not say tk start with. Ive been watching with my kids and appreciate the aafyfirat aspect. Keep up the good work! ❤

    I seriously loved getting to look for the ammonite myself before you revealed where it actually was! Please do that more often because it would help me learn what to look for

    Love your videos and for the enthusiasm you still have when you find an ammonite. Would love to see more of the preparation process in real time. There’s very little of the latter on the web. But a very professional and interesting video. Thanks for sharing

      I live in Florida so Im not far from the ocean but with this being a tourist state - and warm - things like this would probably long gone or destroyed....

    Awesome. Here on Kansas, USA, we used to be under an ocean
    I've only found very small shells rarely teeth, and numerous crinoids. I'd be thrilled with your rejects!

    It was lovely to see the two of you out exploring and working together on the shore again. Please make more videos like this! How old were the two of you when you started cracking open the fines? I imagine the two of you going out to hunt for fossils with your dad as a little boys. Or were you away at a school somewhere?

    My 3 years old son loves your clips so much. He always ask me about how the fossils are made and he’s deeply in love with finding ammonites. I think it would be nice if there are your clips on RUclips Kids too so I can let him watch your clips without worrying about the other random clips.     Your videos have come a long way, great finds , unbelievable drone shots of the beautiful Yorkshire coast the colours of the beach rocks are amazing! You bring an inaccessible beach to many peeps that would never see it !🫶

    I went on a school field trip and we went to a place that the small river was an entire ocean so I knew there’s fossils there so me and another class mate went digging in the water I picked up a big rock and underneath it was a fossil of a Gastropod which is shell species it’s fully molded on the small rock 😅

      Many are. There are different types. Sedimentary rocks are laid down in layers and compressed over time.

      Most are rock hard but many have the chance to contain something brilliant!

    That stone you said move outta the way, looked like it had crab legs. Was it a fossil? It was the whiteish one when you were looking at that small ammonite.

    Why do the nodules form when there's nothing inside?

      Generally nodules tend to form around pretty much anything. This means that sometimes a piece of dust, mud, rock, or a small organism that decayed can trigger the formation of one.
      A decent sum of the time there is something in them though thankfully.
